This is a rather long story, but in short, the recipe was learned from the chef himself, who invented and cooked these delicious ribs in soy sauce.

How many times have we prepared these ribs for the holiday table, they were always the first to “go away”, all the guests were simply crazy about their taste! And just the sight whets the appetite, doesn’t it?

Initially, the recipe uses pork ribs, but you can also use beef or lamb, but I will say right away that the most delicious juicy and soft ones are pork ribs. And most importantly, they are tough on even the most respectable and honored guests of old age!

So, for marinade of pork ribs for one serving for 2-3 people you will need:

  • 1 onion;
  • 200 grams of ribs;
  • 2 tablespoons red pepper;
  • 3 spoons of soy sauce;
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic;
  • Red and black pepper;
  • Dry cilantro.

Pork ribs recipe in soy sauce

Chop the ribs into portions about 5 centimeters long.

In a separate bowl, prepare the marinade - crushed red pepper, soy sauce, garlic and dry spices. Mix everything.

Add ribs, chopped onion and stir again. Leave to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

You need to cook the pork ribs in a cauldron over low heat so that they release their juice and have time to soak in it.

Pour a little vegetable oil into the cauldron, place the ribs, place the remaining marinade on top, cover with a lid and fry over low heat. Stir occasionally, during this time I stirred them 4 times. Pork ribs are cooked in the marinade for 30-40 minutes.

  6. Remove the foil and bake the meat until golden brown. Since the marinade is soy sauce and honey, it will brown nicely. As you can see in the photo, the pieces shrank and some of the fat came out, but they remained very juicy and turned out beautiful.

Pork ribs: little secrets and cooking tricks

  • If there is a lot of fat on the ribs, the top layers can be cut off.
  • In addition to onions, you can add chopped carrots and bell peppers to the pillow.
  • When using beef or lamb, the cooking time for meat under foil needs to be increased.
  • No mustard? You can add a tablespoon of ketchup or other tomato sauce to the marinade, and add a pinch of red pepper for spiciness.
  • The ribs themselves are quite fatty, so the side dish should be as light as possible: fresh, pickled or stewed vegetables, porridge.
