Personal life

Since 2011, Bushmina has been dating the son of former Minister of Economy of Ukraine Vladimir Lanovoy, Dmitry. On September 4, 2012 they got married.

website: Eva, what do you think caused the collapse of the VIA Gra group?

Eva Bushmina: The decisive role, in my opinion, was played by Kostya’s fatigue from constant rotations in the group. Anyway, he is a creative person and creates songs for a specific artist, not a group as a whole.

website: How long ago did you realize that the musical group no longer had a future?

Eva Bushmina:“VIA Gra” has always been on the list of the most successful groups in Russian and Ukrainian show business, so it is incorrect to say that the group had no future. The point is different. Konstantin worked with VIA Groi for 13 years, Albina joined the group eight years ago, and I joined for three years. For each of us this time became decisive. We wanted change, something new. For Konstantin Meladze, “this new” was full-length, and for Albina and me – solo projects.

website: In one of the interviews, you talked about how you never found a common language with another member of the group -. Please tell us in more detail what your conflict was?

Eva Bushmina: We have never had serious conflicts. There were disagreements, but only on work issues. It is normal when a person has his own point of view and expresses it. As they say, truth is born in dispute. To be honest, Santa and I did not become close friends. We probably didn't work together for that long, and we simply didn't have time to get to know each other better.

website: Are you allowed to perform VIA Gra songs after the band ceases its activities?

Eva Bushmina: Now my thoughts and energies are aimed at creating a solo project, my own songs. Perhaps over time I will return to this issue, but as an accomplished performer.

website: When you came to VIA Gro, you became a new blonde beauty, replacing . Is this your natural hair color?

Eva Bushmina: Yes, this is my natural color. I once dyed my hair brunette and really regretted it, I was waiting for my natural shade to return. Now I’m trying not to torture my hair too much even with care products. I only do comprehensive hair protection procedures.

website: Are you friends with the singer Nastya Kamenskikh, do you want to turn the duet “Potap and Nastya” into a trio?

Eva Bushmina: I am currently fully immersed in working on a solo project and plan to present it to the general public early next year. Someday Nastya and I may record a song together, but only as a creative experiment.

website: Are you going to continue performing in the “VIA Gra style,” that is, relying not only on similar songs, but also on a sexy image?

Eva Bushmina: I can assure you that I will move away from the “VIA Gra” image, but let me leave the details secret.

website: Who is your favorite singer? Would you like to be like any celebrity?

Eva Bushmina: It is difficult to name just one performer when there are so many talented singers in the world. I am very inspired by Rachel Ferrell - a true genius in the world of music. But I wouldn't want to become like her or anyone else. The meaning of our profession is precisely to be unique.

website: What other areas of activity would you like to prove yourself in? Now many celebrities are applying, for example, to become designers...

Eva Bushmina: I make every effort to succeed as a solo performer, and I don’t want to be scattered with other activities. Perhaps time will pass and I will want to try myself in a different form.

website: You are several months old, congratulations! Please tell us about your chosen one.

Eva Bushmina: Unfortunately, I do not comment on my personal life. It's personal, isn't it?!

website: Some ex-soloists of VIA Gra, for example, Olga Koryagina, decided to leave the group in order to devote themselves entirely to their family. Have you ever thought about something like this?

Eva Bushmina: I am thinking about how to successfully combine these aspects of my life, and do not intend to put work and personal life on different scales.

website: Do you think there is an ideal age for motherhood?

Eva Bushmina: It's hard for me to judge this. I have friends who gave birth at both 20 and 40 years old. Looking at them, I understand that age does not matter. The only thing that matters is your state of mind.

website: When do you want to have children?

Eva Bushmina: Everything has its time.

General producer Dmitry Kostyuk terminated the contract with the group. “VIA Gra” became the winner of the “Disappointment of the Year” award “ZD Awards”. In 2011, the musical group lost in the “Best Group” category at the Muz TV awards, but continued to develop the project. The girls went to the next festival “New Wave 2011” and a big tour of Belarus. Since Santa Dimopoulos had left VIA Gro by this time, Eva Bushmina still remained in the team, which had now turned into a duet.
