Corrugated paper baskets. DIY bouquet of sweets “Roses in a Basket”. Master class with step-by-step photos. To make the bouquet “alive”

A bouquet or basket of chocolates is always a relevant and exclusive gift that will be appropriate on any occasion. A composition of sweets will delight a child, become an unusual gift for the boss, or bring positive emotions to parents. Making it at home is not at all difficult, it is important to prepare properly and follow the instructions.

The set of materials for making a flower basket may vary slightly.

Photo 1 - To make a craft you will need a number of materials

But the basic items look like this:

  • wooden sticks for creating stems (toothpicks, cocktail straws, construction paper and the like);
  • stapler and scissors;
  • means for gluing (PVA glue, tape or silicone gun);
  • corrugated paper (colored or shiny, material for gift wrapping);
  • actually, the candies themselves;
  • base for the basket (plastic bottle, small flower pot or store-bought wicker basket).

When creating a candy basket, it is important to decide on the future color scheme. Beginners often make the mistake of choosing too many shades for a bouquet. Two or three colors will harmonize perfectly. In a basket intended for a man, blue, purple, and burgundy colors should predominate; for newborns, delicate shades of pink and blue are suitable.

The main attribute of the basket is, of course, sweets. When choosing sweets, you need to take into account the expiration date and taste of the recipient, so that the gift does not become an unpleasant surprise.

You can attach candies to a bouquet of almost any shape - square, rectangular, oval. But the most convenient are round and semicircular sweets.

It is advisable to use several types of candies, combining chocolate with caramels. Candy wrappers can be replaced with wrapping paper if the taste of the sweet is more interesting than the packaging.

Additional materials used include polystyrene foam, ribbons for wrapping gifts, foil, sequins, decorative nets, cardboard and a host of other things. It all depends on the idea and imagination.

How to make a basket of candy?

Creating a masterpiece out of sweets is a simple, but painstaking task. The creation process is divided into several stages:

  • first you need to fill a basket, flower pot or other frame in which the bouquet will be attached with floral foam or polystyrene foam;
  • attach the candy to a wooden skewer using tape, glue or wire;
  • You can decorate the candy using decorative ribbon or colored foil, and arrange it in the shape of a flower - a tulip, poppy, orchid;
  • strengthen all the details of the composition in the frame base (basket), fill the voids evenly.

Photo 2 - You can make a basket out of sweets

Below is a simple candy basket method:

  • the plastic bottle needs to be cut in half, the lower part is taken as the base of the basket;
  • cut any shapes out of colored paper of any color in any order;
  • Spread glue on the outer surface of the bottle and glue all the figures, leaving no gaps;
  • then in the upper part of the bottle, punch two holes opposite each other and insert a rope or wire into them - this is the handle of the basket;
  • then wrap the basket with double-sided tape and carefully glue the sweets to it in the form of a fence; in this case, it is better to take long sweets like “Hazel” or “Chipmunk”;
  • in more complex versions, flowers made from sweets are placed inside the basket.

There are several techniques for attaching candies, for example, on a handle or in a cylinder.

To place the candy on the handle, you need to cut out a triangle from the prepared paper and use it to make a cone.

Place the candy into the cone and twist it around a wooden stick, then wrap it tightly with a special tape from the top of the candy to the middle of the stem.

In order for the bouquet to include a cylinder-shaped candy, you must use transparent paper or material that is the same color as the candy wrapper. Cut a rectangle out of paper and build something like a cylinder out of it, into which to put the candy. Wrap the free edges around the stick and wrap it with tape. At the beginning of the handle, tie the free end of the ribbon so that the candy holds firmly on the stick.

Beginners are advised not to invent multi-layered compositions, but to start with an easy-to-execute bouquet.

The video shows a master class on making a bouquet of sweets.

Candy Basket for Beginners

Strictly following step-by-step instructions will allow a novice craftsman to make his own candy basket look natural and elegant.

For this you will need:

  • candies (the variety doesn’t matter, the main thing is that they are wrapped)
  • corrugated paper (color can be selected as desired)
  • straw basket (plant pot, pot, any decorative box)
  • oasis (floral foam that retains moisture, sold in specialized stores, to replace it
  • You can use a regular piece of foam)
  • sisal (a coarse fiber for creating floral arrangements)
  • skewers for kebabs
  • tape, beads and glue

Photo 3 - Work is carried out sequentially

  • cut out a shape from oasis or polystyrene foam that matches the size of the basket and place it inside;
  • from corrugated paper you need to cut squares from which to build a petal of any shape;
  • then take the candy and tape the tail of the wrapper onto a wooden skewer;
  • Glue the petals to the skewer with tape to the base of the candy;
  • wrap the stem, that is, the skewer, in corrugated paper;
  • Using this principle, make as many flowers as will fit in the basket;
  • the finished bouquet can be placed in the basket, filling the void with sisal;
  • Attach decorative beads to the finished flowers with glue;
  • If desired, you can decorate the composition with a bow or fabric ribbon.

Having mastered the skills of arranging a bouquet in a basket of sweets, you can proceed to more complex compositions.

Candy basket: master class

On the eve of the holidays, a New Year-themed bouquet would be an extraordinary gift.

To make a fabulous basket with snowdrops you will need:

  • small size candies
  • corrugated paper
  • hot melt adhesive
  • threads, shiny film
  • artificial branches, beads
  • thin green ribbon
  • toothpicks or wooden skewers
  • basket with foam inside
  • organza, satin ribbons to match the bouquet

It is advisable to choose candies with the appropriate colored wrapper, green or silver. First of all, the candies need to be attached with hot glue to wooden sticks (toothpicks) by the tail. Glue the opposite tail of the candy wrapper to the sweets.

Photo 4 - Snowdrops are made from corrugated paper

From white corrugated paper, since these are future snowdrops, cut out strips 3 corrugations long and 2 cm wide. To create petals from the strips, you need to twist the strip 180 degrees in the middle, bend it and put parts of the strip on top of each other.

At the top, slightly squeeze the paper form outward to give the petal a natural convexity. Using this principle, make more petals; for a small basket you will need about 10-11 flowers.

Each flower will consist of three petals, which are attached around the base of the candy on a stick using thread. Wrap the stem and bed of the flower with green corrugation, and secure the free end of the paper to a toothpick-stem with glue or tape.

Artificial pine branches are attached to toothpicks like candy, thin strips are cut out of green tape, which are also taped to wooden skewers.

To make the bouquet look more impressive, you can insert bell-shaped candies, for example, a truffle, wrapped in shiny film and taped with green corrugation between the flowers.

The base of the basket is filled with foam or oasis, and the side holes are wrapped with organza so that the voids are not visible. Sisal is placed on top, then skewers of snowdrops, leaves a la aspidistra and candies in a shiny film are inserted into the basket one by one. Decorative spruce branches are installed along the edges of the basket.

The handle of the basket should be wrapped in a spiral with decorative tape, securing the ends with hot glue, and beads should be glued to the handle if desired.

A gift created with your own hands, in which a piece of your soul is invested, will not leave anyone indifferent. And it’s even better to involve your children in the process of creating a sweet present, so that the time spent with their parents will be remembered for a long time.

I just want to have a rose at home. This is why there are roses made from corrugated paper that you can make yourself. Let's see how you can make and decorate this little miracle to please yourself and your loved ones. Maybe such roses will be an excellent gift for someone without any reason - just like that.

When there is a need to make a festive flower decoration, charming roses made from corrugated paper are often used. An inverted rose looks luxurious; its paper leaves, thanks to the corrugation, look very colorful, more interesting than flat leaves. There are many ways to create this flower step by step - let's see how you can make a rose from corrugated paper step by step.

The rose is first and foremost a symbol of love.

What you will need to complete the task and make a unique rose from corrugated paper:

  • sheets of corrugated paper (red and green);
  • scotch;
  • tape - tape;
  • threads;
  • scissors;
  • wooden sticks;
  • sweetie.

It makes a beautiful bouquet

How the process works:

  1. Make two squares of 7 x 7 cm from paper. Cut across the corrugation lines.
  2. Cut the paper into squares. Fold each one in half.
  3. Round the top of each square. The result will be two petals.
  4. Stretch each petal in the middle to the sides, preparing a place - a secret for the candy.
  5. Next you need to take candy. It is desirable that it be round.
  6. Take both petals and place them on top of each other. The inner petal needs to be moved up a little.
  7. The candy should be placed approximately in the middle of the petals, closer to one side.
  8. Then wrap the candy in paper to make a bud.
  9. The bottom of the bud must be secured with thread.
  10. Insert a toothpick inside the bud - this is the stem of the bud.
  11. Secure the bud with tape.
  12. Next, a green rim is made around the bud. Cut a 7 x 6 cm rectangle from paper.
  13. Cut teeth along one edge without cutting through the paper all the way.
  14. Stretch the resulting “fence” to the sides, just like the petals of the bud.
  15. Wrap the resulting “fence” around the bud. Secure it with threads.
  16. Use tape to hide the threads and skewer.
  17. The rest of the candy buds are made using the same principle. When they are ready, they need to be folded into a bouquet and secured with threads or ribbon - tape.

Roses from corrugated paper: how to make a bud with your own hands without difficulty

Almost all roses are made according to the same principle and the differences between them are small. But they still exist. The next master class shows how to make a bud using glue.

Almost all roses are made according to the same principle and the differences between them are small

Necessary materials:

  • Italian corrugated paper (weight 180);
  • small scissors;
  • glue gun;
  • toothpicks or other skewers;
  • Raffaello candy.

You need to do the following:

  1. Take pink and white corrugated paper. Cream colored paper looks very nice.
  2. To make a bud you will need a pair of rectangles of corrugated paper (width 7 cm, height 10 cm), which are made from two strips.
  3. The rectangles must be folded so that the stripes are not vertical, but horizontal. Round the edges of the rectangle.
  4. Swap the petals. Roll them up again and stretch them.
  5. Move the upper petal 4 mm higher than the lower one.
  6. Stretch the folded petals. Make a hole the size of the candy.
  7. Place the candy itself inside, into the resulting recess.
  8. Apply glue to a strip along the bottom edge of the petal.
  9. Wrap the candy in petals. Insert a toothpick at the bottom. Press and hold a little so that the glue sets. You need to make sure that the glue does not get on the candy, otherwise it will stick to the bud and it will be difficult to get it out.
  10. Then you need to make the sepals. For this you need green paper.
  11. Cut out a rectangle (width 4 cm, length 10 cm).
  12. Make sepals for two roses from a rectangle. Twist the edges of the rectangle a little with flagella.
  13. Stretch the bottom edge slightly and apply a strip of glue in a circle to the bottom edge.
  14. Glue the sepals to the buds and hold for a while, fixing the glue.
  15. Cut a strip of green corrugation. Stretch it. Glue it so that it covers part of the sepals and the skewer. The result will be a green stem of a rose.

Roses made from non-standard shades of paper look more interesting. Red is still too common, but cream, yellow, and blue roses are a very unexpected solution.

How to make roses from corrugated paper in a basket: a master class for beginners

The moment comes when you need to make a souvenir with your own hands. I want it to stand out among other gifts with its originality and beauty. This is where the option of a basket with roses made of corrugated paper with sweets inside comes to the rescue. This is not done as difficult as it seems, the execution scheme is not very different from those that we have already discussed above, but there are some nuances.

To complete this task you will need:

  • beautiful basket;
  • wooden sticks - 20 pieces (40 cm);
  • glue gun;
  • silicone glue - 4 tubes;
  • green fern - 1 sprig;
  • beige and green sisal;
  • artificial bergrass (greenery);
  • swamp tulle - 0.5 m;
  • small scissors;
  • round candies - 27 pcs.;
  • red ribbon (width 2.5 cm) - 1 m;
  • gold ribbon (width 0.5 cm) - 4 m.

Step-by-step production:

There comes a time when you need to make a souvenir with your own hands

  1. Cut 20 strips (5 cm wide) from burgundy paper.
  2. Divide each strip into six rectangles of the same size. There will be 120 pieces. These are future petals.
  3. Trim the edges of the rectangles, rounding the top.
  4. Next you need to make the greens. To do this, you need to cut 27 strips of corrugated paper in a marsh color (width 1 cm, length 20 cm).
  5. Cut 8 strips from the same paper (width 5 cm, length 20 cm). Cut out teeth in each strip using a zigzag pattern.
  6. Next comes the formation of the bud. Take some candy. A wooden stick is glued into one of the tails of its wrapper. This operation must be done with all the candies. Which are in stock. Glue the second tail of the candy with glue or tape to the head of the candy.
  7. Take the petals and coat the tips of the petals with glue.
  8. Then wrap the petal around the candy in a circle, wrapping it completely. Twist the petal around the skewer.
  9. Ten petals are made in this way. The number of petals indicates the splendor of the future bud. If you make the bud unopened, then 3 petals will be enough.
  10. Screw and glue the green jagged edges around the bud.
  11. Wrap the skewer in a green stripe to create a stem.
  12. This will result in nine opened buds and 18 unopened ones.
  13. Take tulle and cut 20x20 cm squares. Fold them two together, then fold them towards the middle, then again.
  14. Take a wooden stick. Apply glue to one end. Insert the collected tulle into the middle. This should be done with 10 skewers.
  15. Flowers and greenery are now available. The basket begins to fill.
  16. Place foam on the bottom of the basket.
  17. Place green sisal on the foam so that the foam is not visible.
  18. Take skewers with tulle and add herbs to them.
  19. Insert them evenly into the foam.
  20. Then you should insert the opened buds so that they are in the middle.
  21. Then insert unopened buds along the edge and into the middle to hide the voids.
  22. Cut the golden fern into small branches.
  23. Decorate the bouquet.
  24. Decorate the handle of the basket with ribbon.

Place a red bow on top of the handle. Decorate the edges of the basket with golden ribbon. The decoration is complete. Flowers in a basket can be given to the hero of the occasion.

Small roses made of corrugated paper

This option is not like roses with candy. The flower shape is slightly different. But, nevertheless, these are small roses that can be used to decorate any room or give to friends.

In cities and villages.

Educator.
Thank you guys for your warm congratulations. And now I invite you to make a souvenir basket with flowers together with me. So, let's get to work.

Progress.
1. Making a basket from a ball and twine.
We inflate the balloon, wrap it with twine, do it quite tightly, from different ends.

We coat our ball, wrapped in twine, with PVA glue and leave it to dry.

When everything has dried well, we pierce the ball with a needle and take it out, then wrap the ball with strips of masking tape on the top and sides.

Take scissors and cut out the left and right sides of the ball.

Next we braid the twine.

Using a heat gun, glue the braid around the entire circle of the basket, as well as to the handle. We get this kind of openwork basket.

2. Making calla flowers from corrugated paper.
We cut out a square of about 10 by 10 centimeters from white paper, fold it in half, and from the resulting part we cut out a blank in the shape of a large drop.

Next, using a skewer, we twist the edges of our “drop” away from ourselves, and twist the tip with our fingers and give it a pointed shape. Then, also away from us, slightly stretch the workpiece in the middle.

For the stamens, cut strips 15 centimeters long from yellow paper, wrap the upper part of the skewer with stripes, and wrap the lower part of the skewer with green paper.

We immerse our stem in the petal and secure it with threads at the base. This is what snow-white calla flowers we got.

3 Making rose flowers from corrugated paper.
From lilac, purple, white paper we cut out blanks 7 centimeters long and 10 centimeters wide. We fold the blank five times, cut off the corners at the top, unfold the blank, and use our fingers to stretch it along the middle line. This will be the middle of the flower.

We fold the next blank three times, cutting off not only the corners, but also the sides, these are the future rose petals. Take a skewer, curl the edges, and stretch with your fingers. Let's start assembling our rose: take the largest piece, twist it and tie it with thread.
Now we take 3 petals, apply them to the center, and tie them with thread. And so on in a circle we attach 5 more petals. Cut out the sepals from green paper and glue them to the rose.

We attach the roses to the skewer, these are the beautiful roses we got.

We cut strips of green paper 30 centimeters wide, fold them in half along the entire length, assemble them like an accordion, and tie them at the base.

Note: At the beginning of the work, we also planned to decorate the basket itself with roses made of satin ribbons, and also put artificial flowers on the bottom, but during the master class we did not do this, because we realized that it would be unnecessary.

4.Design of a festive composition.
We decorate the bottom of the basket with fans made of green paper.

Next, we insert snow-white calla lilies along the edge of the basket and decorate the middle with bright roses. Our souvenir basket with flowers is ready.

Let's look at the basket from different sides.

Educator.
We admire our gift and sing a song about teachers.
"Who is the kindest in the world"- words and music by L. Melnikova.

1. Today we are on an autumn day,
In spite of the winds and rains
We'll sing a song as a gift
To my teachers.
Chorus:
Who is the kindest in the world?
Who gives knowledge to children?
Who will advise and help?
Who can forget grievances?
This is a baby shower healer,
This is our good teacher.

2. School years pass,
Flashes day after day
But wherever we are,
We will always sing about you.

Chorus.
3. May happiness surround you
Despite adversity.
You this song more than once
The students will sing.

Here is another master class on a sweet bouquet! I made this bouquet of sweets in a basket for my son’s teacher. Even though it’s very damp and cold outside, I think such a truly summery and warm bouquet will lift your spirits! Now I really feel the advantage of candy bouquets over live bouquets. I made it for Wednesday, but the teacher didn’t come again because of the frozen weather, so this bouquet can wait a few days, because it won’t fade!!! I hope she likes it, of course it looks much better live. So, how to make a bouquet of sweets in a basket?

To do this you will need:

Candy (Korkunov)

Corrugated paper in several colors (beige, blue and hot pink) by the way, I really liked the colors presented in)

Floral wire

Thin double-sided tape (designer tape, can be purchased at wedding retail outlets)

Green tape

Thin satin ribbons in several colors

Decorative ribbons (I have them in gold color)

Basket

Floral base Oasis or foam

Hot glue

Scissors

Pliers

Decorative leaves in bright colors

Floral paper to make the bouquet seem voluminous)

Then we proceed to making the flowers themselves from corrugated paper. To do this, bend the wire in half and twist the ends together, forming a loop. We bend this loop using pliers as follows, as shown in the photo. At the bend points, you need to clamp it with pliers and turn the wire where necessary.

Next, cut out the squares for the flowers. For one flower you need two beige squares and two bright colors. Cut out the petals as shown in the photo. Then we stretch each petal in the middle. Use a skewer to turn in the ends of each petal, first the right edge, then the left. It turns out that we stretch the petals in one direction and bend them in the other.

We take double-sided tape, cut off two strips and glue it onto the candy. We tear off the protective strip and glue it to the loop on the wire. Then we glue double-sided tape onto the wire itself, tear off the protective layer and press the tape around the wire with our fingers.

We take a beige square, the one without long petals, and wrap it around the candy, pressing it against the tape on the wire. We press down the candy a little so that it does not fall off the loop. Wrap tape around the paper and tear off the protective layer. We do this in order to glue the next petals.

We glue the beige petals and the pink ones, each time we wrap the bottom of the flower with tape. After 4 squares are glued, we wrap the wire and part of the paper with tape. We tighten the bottom of the flower tightly.

We take our decorated basket. Cut out a small circle of Oasis and place it on the bottom of the basket. Next, we cut out a larger circle, beveled along the edges, and also put it in the basket. We cover our base with light green corrugated paper on top. It is better to glue the edges with hot glue.

When I made the candy bouquet, I first prepared all the paper squares for forming the flowers and all the wire.

After all the corrugated paper flowers have been formed, we begin to form the basket. We stick all our flowers in a circle. If the stems turn out to be very long, they can be shortened using pliers. Then we insert another flower into the center and see how many more flowers we need to make. I got 13 colors for a small basket.

We take skewers, shorten them with pliers, wrap them with tape and glue artificial leaves to the edge. The same can be done with any material that you want to use when decorating the basket.

This is how I got a bouquet of sweets in soft bed colors. Candies are easy to get, so I consider such a candy composition not decorative, but quite edible. Now you have learned how to easily and quickly make a bouquet of sweets in a basket. Subscribe to updates and you will find out what I will create.

It’s very nice when a gift for any holiday is made with your own hands! And when it’s beautiful, tasty and original, then you definitely won’t leave anyone indifferent. Our master class with step-by-step photos will help you make a surprise that will definitely be unexpected and will delight the eye of the person for whom it was intended for a long time! So, let's make roses in a corrugated paper basket with our own hands.

For our creation we will need:

- basket;
— corrugated paper in burgundy and marsh colors;
— 20 skewers, 40 cm each;
- glue gun;
— 4 tubes of silicone glue;
- one sprig of golden fern;
- green and beige sisal;
— artificial bergrass (greenery);
- 0.5 m of marsh-colored tulle;
- scissors;
— 27 round candies;
- 1 m of red ribbon (2.5 cm wide);
- 4 m of gold ribbon (0.5 cm wide).

Step-by-step instruction.

1. Cut 20 strips of burgundy paper 5 cm wide.

2. Divide each strip into 6 equal rectangles. This makes 120 blanks for petals.

3. Trim the edges of each rectangle so that the top is rounded.

4.Now we prepare the greens. We cut 27 strips of marsh-colored corrugated paper 1 cm wide and 20 cm long.

5. Also, using this paper, we prepare the greenery that will surround our bud. To do this, cut out 8 strips 5-6 cm wide and 20 cm long. Cut out the cloves.

6. We begin to form a flower bud. We take the candy and glue a skewer into one of its “tails”. In our case, we divided the skewers into two parts, because the flowers should not be very tall.

We do this with all the candies. We glue the other tail of the candy with glue or tape to the head of the candy. This is what we got.

7. Let's return to our petals. Lubricate the end of the petal with glue.

8. So we glue 6-10 petals - as desired, depending on how large you want the bud. For unopened buds, 2-3 petals are enough.

9. Twist and glue the green rim with teeth around the bud.

10. Wrap our skewer in a green strip of paper and get a flower stem.

Thus, we got 9 blossomed buds and 18 unopened ones.

11. Cut tulle into squares measuring 20*20 cm, fold them in two pieces, fold them towards the middle, then again.

12. Take a skewer, apply glue to one end and insert the collected tulle into the middle. We need 10 of these sticks.

Flowers and greenery are ready, you can start filling.

13. Place the foam in the basket and glue it.

We cover it with green sisal to hide the white color of the foam.

14. Take the prepared skewers with tulle and add greens to them.

In a circle we evenly insert them into the foam.

And then we add unopened buds along the edges and in the middle so that there are no empty spaces.

16. Cut the golden fern into small branches.

And we decorate the bouquet.

17. Add ribbon along the handle of the basket.

The finishing touches are a red bow at the top of the handle and gold ribbon around the edges of the basket.

DIY candy composition “Basket of Roses” is ready. We wish you imagination and creativity!
