London Stansted Airport was the second Ryanair airport we visited. We flew light and didn’t have to get luggage, so we passed through this area quickly. But taking into account all the procedures, one hour was spent and the clock was already 1.00 am or something like that.

As soon as we received carte blanche, we immediately ran. First, we deposited the bag, although it was not luggage by Ryanair standards, but I didn’t want to carry it around London at all. This pleasure at Stansted is not cheap - £8.75 per 24 hours or part thereafter. Then, look for transport from the airport to London. It was already late and the ticket offices of all transport companies were already closed, but someone told us that we needed to go directly to the buses and we could buy a ticket there. It turned out that way and I didn’t have to search for long.

As you leave the terminal, you need to go right to the bus parking lot. Buses from Easybus, National Express, Terravision run from Stansted to London around the clock - the main thing is to choose the right route that goes to your desired place in London. Since we knew London only from Conan Doyle’s stories, or in other words, we didn’t know it at all, there was no choice problem. We got a Terravision bus, with the final point of arrival in London - Victoria Station. Price £9 ex. We bought the ticket from a special person who was waiting at the last flight for latecomers like us. Somewhere from that moment on, they gradually began to understand English speech performed by the British. Because before this it was more difficult.

We boarded the bus at 01.30 for about an hour on the road and thus in London after 02.30. On the road, at first we looked around, everything was unusual - the driver was on the right, the side of the road was on the left. I managed to get some sleep. On the way we saw interesting phenomenon- English rabbits. At first I thought these were scarecrows placed along the road, but they were alive. Probably every meter along the road, sometimes one at a time, and sometimes in groups, the real furry ones, and many of them, stood and stared at the road. Surprisingly, next to the road... Taking into account the fact that we were a little jittery, it’s still an unfamiliar city, it’s not entirely clear where we ended up, and we didn’t want to disrupt anything, for example, by being late for the plane, we left for London only half an hour.

During this half hour we just walked around the Station, took a few photos and headed back. The nearest bus on the way back was at 15.15, but please pay attention to this, we could not board it. We arrived right on time - and it was already full, there were a lot of people going from Victoria Station to the airport. By the way, boarding the bus is completely different from the place where you disembarked; this also needs to be taken into account when planning your return. In general, we managed to enjoy our first visit to London. It’s true that we didn’t manage to drink English beer, but this was for objective reasons - it was still night. But on the way back we took into account all the nuances and spent our time more efficiently and with greater benefit.

We depart from Stansted.

The return went without any problems. It's good to travel by bus at night, there are no traffic jams. When we arrived, there were less than two hours left before departure and check-in for the flight had already been announced. Advice for those flying through Stansted, but this also applies to all Ryanair airports, is to try to go through check-in and subsequent search procedures in the front rows. This makes it possible to take full advantage of the opportunities available to those who have registered.

When we reached our check-in counter, the line was full and we found ourselves far behind.
