MOSLENTA has three new metro maps at its disposal, on which the MCC is marked and information about the distance between stations, transfer times and much more is written. Citizens spoke in favor of adding this data. Cards will soon begin to be posted - the MCC launches on September 10. In the meantime, we have the opportunity to be the first to evaluate to what extent the wishes of future passengers of the ring have been fulfilled.

Previously, a vote was held on the Unified Transport Portal to select objects that may appear on new scheme metro. The most voted were transfers from the MCC to the metro, indicating the distance between stations or transfer time, data on transfers to commuter trains, as well as information about nearby parks and bike paths.
Users also suggested adding information to the diagrams about intercepting parking lots, stations adapted for passengers with limited mobility, and ground transfers in the so-called warm circuit (when you don’t need to go outside).
There will be 31 stations on the MCC, from each of which it will be possible to transfer to ground urban passenger transport. At the same time, at 17 stations there will be a transfer to the metro, and at 10 - to commuter trains. On the metro map, the MCC will be indicated in white with a red outline.
First month free
Travel on the Moscow Central Circle will be free in the first month from the date of its launch, reported Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin tweeted. During this month, the authorities expect to collect suggestions and comments from Muscovites regarding the operation of the ring and correct any shortcomings that have arisen.
We remind you that the MCC and the metro will have a single tariff menu: the cost of travel both in the subway and on the Central Circle will be the same. Within an hour and a half, transfers from the MCC to the metro will be free. However, for this, already purchased travel tickets will need to be reissued at the box office.
The MCC is the Moscow Central Circle, a new stage in the development of the capital’s transport infrastructure. This information will be very useful for both city guests and residents of the capital. Convenient schemes are worth keeping them on mobile phone and use it to move around the city. This will significantly reduce travel time and find calmer and more convenient travel options. This is especially important during rush hour and Friday crowds.
History of the Small Ring of Moscow railway more than a hundred years. Back in 1908, the circular route was opened for cargo transportation in 9 directions of the Moscow and 1 direction of the Oktyabrskaya railways. In 2012, the ring had 12 operating stations.
Now the Moscow Ring Railway is a “light metro” under construction, a new ground mode of transport integrated into the overall metropolitan system and allowing passengers to make convenient transfers to buses and trams, metro and electric trains.

Latest news about the Moscow Ring Railway
- At a meeting in mid-April 2016, Vladimir Putin was informed that the first Moscow Ring Railway trains would be launched in September 2016. Further work on the construction of the small ring will be concentrated at the transfer points.
- In the twentieth of December, updated metro maps appeared in the capital's subway, which included the Small Ring of the Moscow Railway. This was done specifically so that passengers could get acquainted with pleasant prospects in advance and plan future routes.
- At the Moscow Ring Road there will be organized modern system informing passengers via smartphones - for example, a user, being in a specific point in the capital, will be able to receive a message about which station is nearby and how long the train will arrive at it.

Construction plan and when will it open?
The reconstruction of the Small Ring, which will result in high-speed passenger traffic, began in 2011. Previously, it was planned to launch the light metro in four stages. Traffic on the section of the first stage Presnya - Kanatchikovo was going to be launched at the end of 2014, and on the section of the second, third and fourth stages Presnya - Lefortovo - Kanatchikovo - at the end of 2015.
Nevertheless, it was decided not to rush and launch the ring when it was fully ready - the project was too complex and large-scale.
In December 2015, trains on the Moscow Ring Road were supposed to depart in test mode, but as of the third quarter of 2015, the work was 70% completed.
It is expected that no earlier than the fall of 2016, full-fledged passenger transportation will be established on the Small Ring.

Some time ago, information was announced that the Moscow Ring Road would be reconstructed for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. But now, according to those in charge, traffic along it will be launched in the fall of 2016.
