How to draw a raccoon with a pencil: stages of work
1. Let us denote general shape raccoon body. Let's draw a vertical oval, which will be slightly flattened at the bottom and top. The center line will pass through the center, but it is shifted slightly to the right due to the position of the body.
2. Gradually give the body a shape, designate its bends.
On top we will draw an oval, which will characterize the animal’s head. Approximately in the middle we outline the paws with lines.
3. A raccoon has four legs - two lower and two upper. On the paws we draw fingers that are so similar to human ones.
Place two small rounded ears on the sides of the head.
4. Let's move on to drawing the raccoon's face. The nose, mouth and eyes are made up of circles of varying sizes.
Around the eyes, select the area where the colors will differ.
5. On the right will be a fluffy tail, on which we will draw stripes at equal distances.
6. You should start drawing the drawing with light shades. In this situation we use white and yellow.
We lay out the strokes according to the growth of the animal's fur.
7. Next, add just a little blue tint to make the picture livelier.
We will place this color in those places where you plan to paint with a dark color later.
8. A black pencil will be needed to draw stripes on the fur; you also need to highlight the edges.
The nose and eyes will be black, but leave a little room for highlights.

We draw a circle with a compass or, as usual, outline a round thing of suitable diameter. We begin to draw the lines of the raccoon's face. We draw the raised parts above the horizontal line. And we lower the edges below this line. At the top in a circle we draw ears, a frontal line and wide eyebrows.
Stage 2. Draw the eyes along a horizontal line. They are quite big. First we make the lower edges, then we raise the upper eyelids in an arched manner. Draw dark pupils. Below the eyes we draw an elongated part of the muzzle, on which the nose button is located. Below the nose we show a mouth stretched out in a wonderful smile. 1. Let's draw the initial contours of the raccoon's body
Take a sheet of paper and draw these simple shapes almost in the center. They will help you draw correctly general outline body and legs of a raccoon.
2. Contours of legs and ears
Now add just five to the picture short lines and two circles to the oval of the head. And it immediately became clear that these would be the paws and ears of a raccoon.
The video looks funny: raccoons caressing something in a basin, like a laundress. Only gargle raccoons can do this, and only because they like to generously rinse any food they catch in water before eating it.
3. Finish drawing the general outlines

First draw a tree with branches and place a circle where the raccoon's head will be.
Draw the muzzle, ears, eyes and nose.
We imitate the fur on the head and determine the boundaries of the dark fur of the raccoon, while first erasing the main lines of the head. I didn't erase it so it was clearly visible. Don't forget to click on the images to see the details.
Then, having erased the lines of the raccoon’s body, we imitate fur in the same places. These are simply curves of varying lengths, close to each other and directed in the direction of the animal's fur growth.
We paint over the dark area of the animal’s body with an HB pencil, i.e. not in a light tone.
Take a 2B or 4B pencil and draw the fur near the eyes with small curves close to each other in the direction of hair growth. Enlarge the picture by clicking on it to see it. Next, draw the fur on the head, darken the ears and nose.
I didn't leave any white areas for the raccoon's whiskers, so leave them. Draw the fur on the paws, look at the direction of the fur.

I said that you need to leave room for the mustache, if you haven’t done this, try doing it with the tip of an eraser. Draw the fur near the head on the left in a lighter tone with an HB pencil, and also use it to paint over the animal’s paw. Look at the original (photo) of the raccoon to understand how the fur is located in this place. You can also use an eraser to lighten this area.
