Chucky boy radio host. VJ Chuck: “Sziget is a completely student theme, there are very few people over forty years old. – Do you perform alone as a Dj or do you have a team?

Chuck is not just a name, it is already a brand. An orchestra man, a successful TV and radio presenter, a DJ from the Menzodjs team, and just a guy with a tattoo of Sasha Gray’s portrait on his leg in our regular column “City Crazy.”

– Chuck, who are you first of all, a DJ or a VJ?

– Initially, I was a VJ, and then I became a DJ. But many people don’t know that a VJ is not the person who edits the video, he’s just a TV presenter. I'm closer to television, but when I got on the radio, I liked it. I like both.

– What brought you to VJing then?

– A friend invited me to work on the then unknown music channel A-One. They made a statement when they brought in Korn for the first time in history. I showed up there two or three months later. I had to watch clips, laugh and chat with people - everything I wanted to do all my life. I thought I was very lucky. Initially, we communicated with people in the chat that was on the screen.

And then they told us - let's film the program. And I had never done anything like this before, we were presented with a fait accompli. I was told to write the script without any training. In the end, we filmed everything ourselves, it turned out great, it lasted at least five years. We learned everything, I can’t say it was mega-professional, but it was from the heart. Perhaps that is why there were so many fans.

Then I got tired and switched to MTV, the MTV generation is generally about me. But that wasn't the best good time in the history of the TV channel, of course, I worked for a while, but it wasn’t the rock and roll that I wanted to see, and I left. Then we resumed the old team, me and my friends from A-One launched a project on the Internet - Muz Shit. We started filming and became popular on the Internet, we swore and got angry.

– Did you ever meet those you talked about in this program?

– Yes, in general everyone reacted very adequately. For example, we harshly attacked Ranetok, Roma Acorn, and recently we met with Acorn on one of the TV channels, and I, of course, said, “It’s nothing personal, bro,” to which he replied that he understands everything. And we actually became friends with Ranetki.

– What is happening in your career now?

We're starting new project called "HypnoNight", there will be a little more freedom, I think it will begin new life. Because no matter how much you like what you do, if you do it for a long time, it will, of course, get boring.

– Besides this, do you do anything else?

Yes, I host a program on Europe Plus-TV, there is also such a channel. Guests come to me, I talk to them live, it’s such a bright, dazzling talk show. It's called Hot&Talk, you can communicate with viewers in real time, people call from all over the country live.

– What if inappropriate people call?

Well, it varies, of course, but somehow it turns out that in general everyone calls normally. There is a boy who calls every day, who participates in all competitions and promotions, we gave him the task of filming a story, he took it and filmed the story, put music on it. And he is about 14 years old, at his age I couldn’t do anything at all.

– Do you perform alone as a Dj or do you have a team?

Yes, this is Menzodjs, there are four of us - Alexander Anatolyevich, Yaroslav Stroganov, Andrey Grigoryan and me, but, of course, we perform separately. We recently had our 4th birthday and we all performed together. We also have programs on Megapolis FM radio. This is the same format as a talk show, only on the radio.

– Why is there a portrait of Sasha Gray on your leg?

- Well, because she's cool, everyone loves Sasha Gray, and Sasha Gray loves everyone too. In general, she is an ordinary girl from the neighboring yard.

How did it happen that you showed her your tattoo?

– She came recently, and I was the host live broadcast. We had an hour-long interview, I asked questions from her fans from all over Russia. She's such a sweetheart, though she doesn't have breasts. In general, we got to know each other in full.

– Do you love Moscow? How do you relax here?

“I, like everyone else, go to the cinema, go to Ikea, eat donuts, take a walk, in the cold, you really can’t go for a walk.” Moscow is very cool, it’s very cool that I was born here. I might have left for somewhere like Los Angeles, although even then, it’s unlikely.

- Why Chuck?

– I loved Chuck Norris as a child, I also have his tattoo.

– We ask all our guests the same question: what is your opinion on daily life?

– Well, sometimes there’s a lot of work, and that, in general, is what keeps me afloat. On the other hand, I can't imagine myself doing nothing. I constantly need to do something. You want to do what you like and get paid for it, given the crisis, it’s not so easy. So far it seems to be working. I try to be on the rise all the time and encourage others too.

The performer of the role of a physicist in the scandalous TV series “School” fell head over heels in love with the MTV VJ

The award ceremony “TEFI-2010” - “Faces” will take place on September 25 at the Mikhailovsky Theater in St. Petersburg. The finalists of the competition included the scandalous series “School” directed by Valeria Gai GERMANIKA. The film is nominated in several categories and will compete for the title of best television series of the season.

As soon as the show of “School” on Channel One ended, Germanika was appointed creative director of MTV. Lera immediately got down to business and, as the new face of the channel, suggested actress Alexandra CHILD, who brilliantly played the physicist Orlova in the scandalous series, who is not embarrassed to have sex with the father of her student and selflessly masturbate with open window. Having taken up her duties as the host of “News Block,” Sasha began an affair with a colleague on the program, VJ Chuck (real name Mikhail KLIMOV), about whom millions of young viewers and MTV viewers dream.

Despite the natural openness, Alexandra Child He doesn’t let anyone in on the details of his personal life. And I wouldn’t talk about my close relationship with Chuck either, if our photojournalist hadn’t caught the couple Dmitry Mikheev at a poetry evening in one of the Moscow nightclubs. Sasha and Mikhail kissed passionately.

It was immediately clear that they had a complete idyll,” Dima said. - When the event ended, Sasha and Chuck drove off in the same car.

As we found out, the Child and Klimov We finally became close a month ago, having met by chance at the rock festival “KUBANA” in the village of Yantar, Krasnodar Territory.

We spent three days together and upon returning we realized that we couldn’t live without each other,” Chuck recalls. - We did it perfect tandem: We are creative people and decided to express our feelings in art by creating an association called “YOU”. We work in the genre of performance and show our ideas at various poetry evenings. To be honest, I noticed Sasha a long time ago. I watched all the films with her. And how impressed I was candid photo shoot in the magazine "MAXIM" - beyond words! By the way, we will soon have to part, because Sasha is leaving for theater festival to Kyiv. For half a month! And, unfortunately, I won’t be able to keep her company - there’s a lot of work in Moscow.

Extreme lover

By the way, at the age of 30, Alexandra had not yet experienced the joy of marriage and motherhood, but she was definitely ripe for it.

I love babies very much! Many of my friends have small children, and I enjoy babysitting them,” Alexandra shared. - Now I really want to start a family and definitely give birth to three kids.

And, by the way, just recently the Child admitted that winning her heart is not easy. She is especially excited by extreme sports. For example, sex on the boom of a tower crane. Apparently, Mikhail found an approach to the girl.

Now a morning on MAXIMUM radio means three hours in the company of fierce rock and rollers. Listeners of the radio station were pleasantly surprised - new characters will work in the morning in the new season. Radio hosts were set on a good path by their predecessors. In one of the comments on the social network he wrote: "may the dent from our asses help you".

Who are the new presenters? morning show on radio MAXIMUM? VJ Chuck (Mikhail Klimov) worked on TV channels A-One, MTV and. You could hear Chuck on radio Moscow FM. DJ, blogger, event host is now on the MAXIMUM radio team. Chuck replaced Kostya Mikhailov, worked on the air of the radio station together with.

VJ Chuck's colleague, Alexander Chaliapin, acts in films, participates in stand up and beatbox shows. Before working on air, the presenters did not know each other.

The new pair of presenters underwent a “maximum baptism” on air last week. Chuck and Chaliapin were entrusted with two evening hours. The hosts of the new show conducted their first broadcast in the company of Adam James. The American acted as a translator; the radio had a foreign guest.

On the first day of the new morning show, Chuck got a tattoo. Worldwide famous master tattoo Scott Campbell decorated VJ's brush. Chuck wrote on his Instagram: “I hope the tattoo will be on my arm as long as we’ve been on air MAXIMUM!”. For the first time in 25 years, the radio station's DJs went on air to the whir of a tattoo machine.

Rockcult: Is this your first Sziget?

VJ Chuck: Yes.

Rockcult: And what are your impressions?

VJ Chuck: This is the largest European festival I have been to in my entire life. And in general, everything is great. The guys are great. Great organization, lots of trendy hipsters. But there is one thing: the lineup is not very impressive, especially for the 25th anniversary year. The band Anacondaz is missing.

Rockcult: What is the main mission of the Russian ambassador?

VJ Chuck: Oh, I don't know, no one explained it to me. They said: “Go to Sziget.” I was sent and I went. As usually happens: you are sent, and you leave. We have arrived, and everyone is fulfilling their mission. I’m drinking, trying to survive, but in principle the mission to survive, staying alive, it happens to everyone at the festival, because the week of the festival is a very huge timing for the liver, emotionally too. It's really hard.

Rockcult: The main feature is that Sziget is considered Freedom Island and you can live in a campsite for a whole week. How do you look at this?

VJ Chuck: You need to ask Nuka about this. We have our own Aboriginal - this is Nuki, she is also an ambassador, but she lives in a tent and feels great, apparently. And every time I see her and say: “Guys, you look great, go to the bathhouse at least once.”

Rockcult: Would you like to live in a tent yourself?

VJ Chuck: I lived in tents at the Tomorrow Land festival, but here I decided that right in a tent at the festival would be super trashy. I can. I’m ready in principle, if they told me that there were no other options, then I would be ready to live. I would open up, but nothing...

Rockcult: In fact, this is still normal weather - a couple of years ago it rained, and it really was trash.

VJ Chuck: Yes, the weather, by the way, the first two days were super hot, but then it became normal. Agree that the last few days have been super cool.

Rockcult: What five best groups in the lineup this year?

VJ Chuck: I probably won’t reach the top five bands, but I will say, of course, Kasabian, in second place is GusGus, in third place is Brutto, and I’m still looking for a couple more. And Leningrad, I think, will take some kind of position anyway.

Rockcult: What alcoholic drinks are these groups associated with?

VJ Chuck: Kasabian - with a palinka, Gus Gus I associate not with alcoholic drinks, Brutto - with a jägermeister, and Leningrad - with everything combined mixed together.

Rockcult: Will you go to support Leningrad?

VJ Chuck: Of course, I have already contacted Grandfather from the Leningrad group. I communicate with Parygin, who is Turboboy, and with Grandfather.
I said:
— Guys, when are you arriving?
— 15th, at 5 am.
- Just don’t text me at 5 am.
- Okay, at 5:10.
I'm waiting for the whole Leningrad crowd to arrive, and we'll rock wildly on the last day, it'll be mega-ultra-hardcore.

Rockcult: What's the coolest lineup you've ever seen?

VJ Chuck: I still don’t remember. It’s just that there are always such stories in the lineup... This year in Belgium I liked the Graspop Metal Meeting 2017, there were a lot of bands there that I wanted to hear, and I got to all the scheduled performances. For example, DevilDriver, Suicidal Tendencies and many others.

Rockcult: What did you listen to on the way to Budapest?

VJ Chuck: Nothing, nothing at all. But no, I’m lying, I listened to Eminem - The Greatest Hits, which I downloaded recently and listened to on the plane. I arrived, but Eminem was not there, what a shame. But the biggest disappointment is Wiz Khalifa. In general, talking about music to someone who likes what is absolutely useless.

Rockcult: Tell us about the trashiest incident at a concert or festival?

VJ Chuck: It was a two-day metal festival in Kyiv (I don’t remember exactly what it was called). There were two stages and the headliners were Motörhead, back when Lemmy was alive. We arrived with friends and drank cognac wildly. When we got to the festival, I stood near the stage and realized that some strange movement was happening there. I come up and see that the dudes are starting to yell at the guy who is disabled. And he is not in a wheelchair, but like the hunchback from Notre Dame. And I tell them: “Stop, guys, he’s with me!” And I take this disabled person, put him on my shoulders, and he and I in the front row jammed to Motörhead for three songs. After the performance, he hobbled up to me and said that it was the best concert of his life. And here I was holding Dudya on my shoulders ( Yuri Dud, I was also the ambassador from Russia at the festival this year - approx. ed.).

Rockcult: Which local musicians could perform at the Sziget festival?

VJ Chuck: I would add half of the domestic musicians here, and it would be just super-mega. I would add Anacondaz anyway. I would also bring it here Little Big, of course, they would make a normal splash here. And The Hatters too, and the group Khleb. But it’s unlikely that they would have made it, of course, but these are cool guys. I would invite all my friends to come into the dressing room and drink.

Rockcult: If you were offered a tattoo in honor of the anniversary of the Sziget festival, would you agree?

VJ Chuck: It seems to me that I have already done... Although I don’t know, this is still not that kind of festival, and it is not finished yet. This usually happens when you either are in complete hell and get a tattoo as a keepsake, or you go crazy and get a tattoo for yourself. There hasn’t been such a situation yet: “Fuck, we have to score!”

Rockcult: Are there any bands whose concerts you have already been to 1000 times and would go to for the 1001st time?

VJ Chuck: An excellent indicator is the Kasabian group, I have been to Kasabian three times this month. That is, I was in Rome, where they had a concert as part of Rock in Roma, then from Italy they came to Moscow for the Afisha Picnic, and I was there too. And from the Picnic the next performance is Sziget. I've been to everyone last concerts Kasabian group.

Rockcult: And before that?

VJ Chuck: And this was me when they came to Moscow, and when they supported the Red Hot Chili Peppers in Kyiv, and, in principle, I love Kasabian.

Rockcult: And anyone else?

VJ Chuck: I would listen to Queens of the Stone Age, but no one takes them anywhere.

Rockcult: Did you go see Guns N’ Roses this year, and how?

VJ Chuck: To "Gansov"? Oh, that was amazing. It was my birthday, I turned 35, and I decided to celebrate it in Dubai because I saw back in September that they were going to have a concert there. And a team of like-minded people and I, as they say, rushed to Dubai. In principle, the Ganz concert in Dubai is an event in itself that is out of the ordinary. This is a country where they don’t drink and don’t get too wild. In fact, it was one of best concerts, which I was at, because it took place in the desert, a three-hour drive from Dubai, and there was also a huge hellish traffic jam that we got stuck in. People were just running like illegal Mexicans across the border, climbing over the fence to make it in time. In fact, the traffic jam is so huge that you realize that you are already missing the first song. And we came running, and it was super cool. They served beer there, and we got wild. And Axl Rose was awesome.

Rockcult: So he's in shape now?

VJ Chuck: He's very cool. This is Guns N' Roses, believe me, this is one of the best concerts. He's in super shape now. Moreover, almost all of them are in the original lineup, except for the drummer. In short, it's cool, especially in Dubai.

Rockcult: Five musicians you'd like to rock out with?

VJ Chuck: Oh, by the way, today Misha Kozyrev and the guys and I were talking in a restaurant, and I asked: “Guys, who would you like to have dinner with?” And one girl said that she would like to hang out with Faina Ranevskaya - it seems to me that it’s normal to hang out. What about five musicians? I don't know. We communicate so much with musicians that our topic is “I would like to talk/ask about something.” And I drank with many musicians. Probably with the same Josh Homme. I would hang out with Marilyn Manson.

Rockcult: Did you go to a concert in Moscow?

VJ Chuck: No, he worked, but he would have hung out. And I would work with Manson. I don’t know anymore. It seems to me that all people, when they drink, turn into... ordinary people. And I really talked to a lot of people, from Editors to Scissor Sisters and Boris Grebenshchikov.

Rockcult: And how is Tom Smith?

VJ Chuck: Fine, wonderful person. Therefore, let Marilyn Manson take all five places and my wish will come true. Although, also Lemmy from Motörhead, but I also drank with him.

Rockcult: Playlist from Chuck “When you've been up all night and want to die in the morning”?

VJ Chuck: I don’t listen to anything like that - when I want to die, I suffer. I understand that music is revitalizing nectar and ambrosia, but I don’t have the feeling that I listen to something and it invigorates me. By and large, in the same player I am invigorated by punk rock, that is, Billy Talent, of this format, more cheerful, more fun. Billy Talent, by the way, were quite good here.

Rockcult: Have you been to them in Moscow?

VJ Chuck: I was in Moscow this year and before that.

Rockcult: And where was it tougher?

VJ Chuck: In Moscow it was tougher anyway. Everyone there ate themselves and went home. Here I had to continue with Pink, carrying Dudya on my shoulders and drinking palinka.

Rockcult: Anything else you'd like to add?

VJ Chuck: Guys, come to Sziget and see for yourself what there is to tell. All festivals are known in comparison, and therefore everyone decides for themselves. You can always find yourself in completely different atmospheric conditions, it all depends on the company, on the lineup, on the alcohol. You can’t say that you will come and it will be super cool. For example, today I walked alone for half a day and tried to understand whether it was normal for me to be alone or abnormal. Sziget is completely a student theme, there are very few people here who are over forty years old. Everyone comes here and gets mad. Rome is for retirees. And Budapest is 80 percent young, both the festival and the whole city.

VJ Chuck: I found out what it's called!

Mikhail Kozyrev: Welcome to our company of scum!

VJ Chuck: Hello! Let me hug you. I rarely hug you for so long.

Mikhail Kozyrev: Wait. For a person with so many tattoos, you need something like this, with your fists, then that’s all.

VJ Chuck: No, well, this is all superfluous. Now we will spend all our time just to say hello, you understand?

Mikhail Kozyrev: The first “great” for fifteen minutes on air.

VJ Chuck: Listen, I was told that I need to quickly, quickly and wildly get crazy with you in this short time.

Mikhail Kozyrev: Okay, let's shift from ninth to 78 speed.

VJ Chuck: Let's switch to 78 speed, I'll talk quickly. Hi all! Who doesn’t know me, I’m Chuckyboy, such a cool guy, VJ Chuck, VJ of the First Alternative TV channel, on which Misha and I had a blast and worked like hell. I don't remember just what year. 2009 or 2008?

Mikhail Kozyrev: No, definitely earlier, back in my opinion, 2007, 2009, that’s something. I remember, yes, that those were hellishly trashy years.

VJ Chuck: Hellishly trashy years!

Mikhail Kozyrev: And I absolutely got a wild buzz from them.

VJ Chuck: Is it the same for you now?

Mikhail Kozyrev: Now it's completely different!

VJ Chuck: Do you know what the main question is? Since we're talking about A-One, this is the first alternative channel that played music that no one plays now, but back then it was straight rock. Marilyn Manson was there yesterday, did you go?

Mikhail Kozyrev: Yes, I'm at the last minute...

VJ Chuck: Refused?

Mikhail Kozyrev: Yes, I had everything, all the passes, they did everything for me. For some reason I had two shootings in a row, I somehow...

VJ Chuck: Look how blown away you are!

Mikhail Kozyrev: But I watched all the footage from there overnight and realized that the dude was still burning, normally.

VJ Chuck: Yes, still cool. I didn’t understand how, with such weight, he kept his balance on stilts while performing Sweet Dreams.

Mikhail Kozyrev: Yes, it was amazing. Moreover, it’s also very funny that if something itches or the headset needs to be adjusted, then he has to lift this thing up on a stilt and use it to adjust his ear monitors.

VJ Chuck: Do you know that he is real, just like you and me? Listen, let's remember what it was like when you came to us on the A-One TV channel. It really was a blast.

Mikhail Kozyrev: Let's take a second and say a few words about Manson.

VJ Chuck: Yes, a few words about Manson. You know him, right?

Mikhail Kozyrev: So, when he first came to the country... Yes.

VJ Chuck: You were hanging out.

Mikhail Kozyrev: I had to walk him around Moscow.

VJ Chuck: Yes, yes, yes. Manson's first tour guide in Moscow.

Mikhail Kozyrev: Yes, I can honestly take credit for this matter. This amazing historical photograph was taken by Vasya Kudryavtsev, where he stands on the Arbat with a monkey like this...

VJ Chuck: There was a monkey in a German uniform.

Mikhail Kozyrev: Yes, yes, yes. And it is clear that, on the one hand, he understands the feeling of absurdity, on the other hand, he enjoys it.

VJ Chuck: He likes it.

Mikhail Kozyrev: He understands what this photograph is like in the West...

VJ Chuck: What a hype!

Mikhail Kozyrev: It will generally cause hype, yes. Here. But for me the most amazing thing was...

VJ Chuck: They will write: “Manson found a Russian wife.”

Mikhail Kozyrev: Yes, finally. And there is such a monkey, yes. Firstly, it was a painful story, because his trucks were delayed at the border and as a result, his concert was scheduled at the Olimpiysky on February 22, but ended up on February 23. Thank God he had a window. And on February 23, as you understand, all soviet army walking.

VJ Chuck: Defender of the Fatherland Day, yes.

Mikhail Kozyrev: And when he first arrived, he said: “So, for one song I need Soviet soldiers to come on stage, march back and forth and stand around this podium of mine, on which I will sing: Fight! Fight! Fight!

VJ Chuck: And I would salute them.

Mikhail Kozyrev: Here. And it was our responsibility, Radio Ultra, to make sure we found these soldiers.

VJ Chuck: Let's come back, otherwise we'll spend everything on Manson and won't be able to. Well, do you even remember your arrival? I remember your arrival. Everyone was surprised, because the management often changed, but your arrival was very joyful for me because at last you are the person whom I, for example, consider a professional, because I also grew up on Ultra, and on “Maximum” and so on.

So, I say: “Misha Kozyrev will come now and finally make a cool channel.” But Misha Kozyrev came...

Mikhail Kozyrev: But you can’t imagine what a mess the dude prepared for me...

VJ Chuck: I forget them, how many there were, what their names were.

Mikhail Kozyrev: Mikhail Evgrafov, here.

VJ Chuck: Yes, I remember this story.

Mikhail Kozyrev: And I never... That is, I am always in any television projects He was simply the producer of a separate project, that’s it.

VJ Chuck: Yes, yes, yes.

Mikhail Kozyrev: And he asked me, first of all, to gather everyone and fire all the producers in general. And the founding fathers of the channel were there, the late Mitya Makhov was there...

VJ Chuck: Vitya Logachev.

Mikhail Kozyrev: Vitya Logachev, yes. And the dudes with whom I, as it turned out after that...

VJ Chuck: I must say, you communicated normally.

Mikhail Kozyrev: At all. And I must give them credit for forgiving me for this.

VJ Chuck: Yes.

Mikhail Kozyrev: I was the executioner who cut them off from the canal. But it turns out that, as time has shown, we were the ones who left the closest relationship with them. But they told me: “Cut off the producers, they are not needed at all.”

VJ Chuck: You are now the main producer! You will do it!
