27th of June on the historical stage Great Hall The Moscow Conservatory is launching a festival of symphony and brass orchestras with the poetic name “ Summer Waltz" Various orchestral groups from Moscow and regions will take part in 4 concerts of the festival - (conductor - Sergey Durygin), Symphony Orchestra of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation(conductor - Konstantin Petrovich), Tula Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra (conductor - Vladislav Lavrik), (conductor - Alexey Karabanov), as well as one of the best orchestras of the Moscow Conservatory - the Concert Symphony Orchestra conducted by maestro Anatoly Levin. The festival will last until July 5.
Central Military Band of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation- one of the most famous military bands in the world, created in 1927. First artistic director Major General S. Chernetsky, a devotee of Russian military music, became a member of the orchestra. High academic performance culture, carefully selected repertoire, in which priority is given to Russian classical and modern music, virtuosity and high professionalism musicians became identifying marks of the orchestra and endeared it to the listening audience not only in our country, but also in almost all continents of the planet. Such outstanding musicians as Khachaturian, Kozlovsky, Arkhipova, Obraztsova, Oistrakh, Gilels, Dokshitser, Pikaizen, Kobzon, Carreras, Gulegina performed with the orchestra. The orchestra has created a golden anthology of Russian military music. These are more than six hundred musical recordings that are stored in the Russian state archive phonodocuments. Concert Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Conservatory was created in September 2007 on the initiative of People's Artist USSR, Professor Gennady Rozhdestvensky and People's Artist of Russia, Professor Tigran Alikhanov. Over the years of its existence, the ensemble, whose chief conductor and artistic director is Honored Artist of Russia, Professor Anatoly Levin, has taken its rightful place in musical life Moscow. Since 2008, the orchestra has had the honor of opening the concert season in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.

The basis of the orchestra's repertoire is Russian and world musical classics, contemporary music, an invaluable collection of Russian and Soviet songs about the sea and the Russian Navy. The orchestra's concerts are successfully held in the best concert halls in Russia and abroad, naval garrisons and military bases of the Russian Armed Forces.
Captain 1st rank, head and artistic director of the Central Concert Exemplary Orchestra named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov Navy Russia Alexey Karabanov is a promoter of music written for brass band. Impeccable conducting technique, brilliant commentary on concerts, regular appearances on various television and radio channels in programs dedicated to military music Russia, made him a real favorite of the public.
In 1985 he graduated with honors from the Moscow Conservatory. From the same year he was appointed conductor of the Admiralty Orchestra, fruitful work with which and active concert activity brought the artist universal recognition.
Since October 1, 2007 - head (artistic director and chief conductor) of the Central Concert Exemplary Orchestra named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov.
The musician has repeatedly taken the helm of leading military and symphony orchestras in Europe and St. Petersburg. In 1996, he was awarded the honorary title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.

The Concert Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Conservatory was created in September 2007 on the initiative of the State Prize laureate, People's Artist of the USSR, Professor Gennady Nikolaevich Rozhdestvensky and the rector of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky (2005-2009), People's Artist of Russia, Professor Tigran Abramovich Alikhanov . The orchestra was led by Honored Artist of Russia, Professor Anatoly Abramovich Levin. The director of the orchestra is currently Daria Sergeevna Dmitrieva.
According to the organizers, the orchestra was supposed to provide students and graduate students of the Department of Opera and Symphony Conducting of the Moscow Conservatory with the practice necessary to master the profession of a conductor and at the same time conduct full-fledged concert activities.
