On August 21, 2014, Aliana Gobozova won the title. The top three also included project veteran Alexander Zadoynov and Marina Afrikantova, who quickly gained popularity among viewers. Along with the title, Aliana Ustinenko became the owner of a one-room apartment in New Moscow. Even if it’s outside the Moscow Ring Road, it’s your own home with ready-made renovations.
On August 21, 2015, one of the most scandalous finals in the history of the prestigious competition took place. Andrei Chuev won with great fanfare, unexpectedly beating the main favorite Evgeniy Kuzin in the final. Also in the top three was Victoria Romanets, but she was not initially considered a serious competitor. As a result, Chuev took himself a one-room apartment in the Moscow region. Unlike the apartment that Aliana got, Chuev’s had a larger square footage and a more prestigious location. Later it turned out that Andrey’s victory was ensured by friends from Stary Oskol, who invested money in mass sending of SMS votes.
On August 18, 2016, another apartment in the Moscow region was raffled off, which was intended for the winner of the “Person of the Year 2016” competition. As a result square meters in the residential complex "New Zelenograd" went to Olga Veter (Zhemchugova), and she was accompanied in the final by Fedor Strelkov, Andrey Cherkasov and Marina Afrikantova. The main rivalry developed between Veter and Strelkov, but in the end the audience gave preference to the young mother.
In 2017, the Person of the Year competition acquired a new format. Now the competition is called “Love of the Year” and couples in love take part in it. And the first winner of the honorary title was the couple Nikita Kuznetsov and Darina Markina. Their main rivals were Sergei Kucherov and Yulia Efremenkova, who lost the final. Nikita and Darina won a one-room apartment, which by the time they move in will have already been renovated at the expense of building 2.
Why do they participate in the competition?
Firstly, it is prestigious. The project has an army of 40 million television viewers and receives enormous attention from the press, so simply participating in the Person of the Year is good PR for the contestants.

Several participants will be eliminated from the competition every week. There are only three left in the final, and the best one will win. “Losers” are determined audience voting through the TNT-CLUB application, which this year will be free for the first time in the history of the competition.
For the competition, the producers chose an unusual concept. This time the “Person of the Year” will be vocal. In the fight for victory, the participants will amaze the audience with their voices and perform songs in the proposed circumstances. The producers of the project have not yet revealed which ones. What is known is that the participants will not only have to perform in a variety of musical genres(from rap to chanson), but also to overcome real, sometimes not even the most pleasant obstacles.
The main prize of the competition will be an apartment in New Moscow, and it is for this that the participants of the “Person of the Year” will strain their muscles. The finalists who took second and third place will receive a “ticket” into show business: their prize will be assistance in developing a musical career.

The participants will certainly have to try hard to win the main prize - an apartment in New Moscow - because they will have to sing in difficult circumstances. Two teachers, Victoria Ilyinskaya and Konstantin Burukhin, professional actors and vocalists, will help the contestants master the basics of vocals and prepare for performances. In the top three finalists I see Olga Zhemchugova, Andrey Cherkasov and Marina Afrikantova. I wish victory to the Zhemchugov family, because they really need an apartment. I would also like Wenceslaus to win. He has been on the project for a very long time and the presenters do not let him go, because he, in fact, has nowhere to go. Gleb Zhemchugov: “In one of the fan groups of the TV project “DOM-2”, the audience has already voted and in their opinion the three finalists of the “Person of the Year” competition will look like this: my wife Olga Zhemchugova, who is the leader of the vote, Marina Afrikantova and Andrey Cherkasov. I am, of course, pleased that my wife is one of the voting favorites, but the “Person of the Year” competition is so unpredictable that its results can be anything. Therefore, it is difficult to make any predictions. I don’t believe in my victory, but for the competition I will give it my all and show everything I can. I will, of course, root for Olya - we, more than anyone, need this apartment, because we have a small child».
Andrey Cherkasov: « It’s good that this year audience voting is free. Because we all remember how Andrey Chuev won last year. This year the participant will win in an honest way and that’s great. In the fan groups of the project on the Internet there are already some preliminary results of viewer preferences, Olga Zhemchugova is in the lead. I definitely want to win. And for me, this competition is an opportunity to realize my creative abilities, an opportunity to show myself to the audience as an artist. So I will fight for victory. And I’ll be rooting for my girlfriend Stella. I want her to participate in this competition as long as possible.».
The “Person of the Year” competition has been held at DOM-2 since 2009. The winners of the competition in different years became Natalya Varvina, Liberzh Kpadonu, Vlad Kadoni, Aliana Gobozova, Andrey Chuev.

The creators of the project had a good idea: let the people choose best participant show of the month. At one time, such voting was very popular and cost money. True, then TV viewers paid for SMS in support of their favorite, but now the management of House 2 is ready to fork out the cash: the winner will receive a bonus of 50 thousand rubles. There’s no reason to give Vitya a bonus! He’s a fairly new participant, quiet, almost unnoticeable and not exactly correct... kind of amorphous.
In general, in my opinion, a “participant of the month” is someone who is liked by the audience and expresses himself in an interesting and extraordinary way (not as is customary in House 2). Who can resist the attacks of the team without resorting to aggression and so-called “habalism”, who does not bend or break under the pressure of critics and advisers, who has done a lot for the show, but has not lost himself, and who is interesting to watch. Remember, the eternal holder of audience immunity successfully resisted the brawler, never attacked or picked on anyone. And she was able to prove herself so interesting and unconventional for the show of that time that the viewer still enjoys her... talents.
With Marina Afrikantova similar story. She does not offend anyone and never reacts aggressively to attacks from her colleagues. The biggest sin that anti-fans attribute to her is, in fact, an attempt to defend herself. After all, the culprit in the breakup of relationships can be considered the one who cheated, stole or used force. In the case of Afrikantova, she escaped from the despot. Again, Marina is practically the “elder” of the project.
And who is Viktor Litvinov? Why was he elected? Yes, he quietly and devotedly goes to the wedding with. But this is not enough to consider a man (!!!) the best. A man must be strong, wise and reliable. Viktor Litvinov's strength is quite controversial. He never showed himself physically (he didn’t fight with him, who rather brazenly provoked him). The guy's moral fortitude is also in question. In any case, from time to time he caves under the pressure of the team and begins to educate Tanya or make her jealous. In an open dispute, he had never confronted anyone himself. The always faithful Musulbes is nearby or the “brothers” of the project. Vitya can even be called weak and driven. He came to the project thanks to Tanya, and got the opportunity to build a relationship because Tanya chose him, and not because he achieved it. Again, Vitya did too little for the project to receive a bonus. A week without a year! Africa has been working as a laborer for three years now. And this one came with everything ready, immediately moved into a separate room and lives happily ever after.
In a word, in my opinion, Vitya does not deserve the title “Participant of the Month”. Even those who are not loved by the majority (and by me too) deserve more respect, at least for the fact that they can stand up to the team. And Vitya is good, but... jelly... Not kind, but kind of kind...
