Organized in 1993 as a national festival where only Hungarian musicians performed, Sighet quickly outgrew this level and gained international fame. The attention of music lovers from all over the world is attracted to Budapest not only by the headliners of the musical part of the event, but also sport competitions, film screenings, art exhibitions, theater and circus performances, discussion clubs, language and culinary master classes, children's programs, charity events and much more. And, of course, Sigheta, like other large-scale music festivals, there is a significant social component - the action "Rock Against Racism" attracts the attention of both the press and spectators.
Musical gourmets in Budapest are entertained only by recognized masters of the music industry of various genres - from hard core to country, from electro to reggae.
This year's Woodstock on the Danube program includes performances by Rihanna, Muse, Bloc Party, Róisín Murphy, Sigúr Ros, Sum 41, Manu Chao La Ventura, Hardwell, David Guetta, The Last Shadow Puppets, Bastille, Bring Me The Horizon, Kaiser Chiefs and many others. Isle of Wight Festival

Music festival on the Isle of Wight Kate Moss chose this year as the venue for my bachelorette party. First Pukkelpop attracted only 3 thousand spectators, but now their number exceeds 150 thousand people. Last year the festival celebrated its 25th anniversary.
