(Slide 1) You and I have read many wonderful books. And so we met another writer - Antony Pogorelsky and his amazing fairy tale “The Black Hen, or the Underground Inhabitants.” A beautiful, quiet, sad fairy tale about the secret world of underground knights, about the miraculous transformation of the chicken Chernushka, about the mysterious underground people... And today our game is dedicated to this fairy tale.

Introduction.

(Slide 2) A carriage rides through the cold streets of winter St. Petersburg. Her passenger - a gray-haired man with surprisingly kind and somehow childish eyes - was deep in thought. He thinks about the boy he is going to visit. This is his nephew, little Alyosha.

(Slide 3) The crew stops, and the passenger with a slightly sad, but boyishly brave face thinks about how lonely his little friend is, whom his parents sent to a boarding school and rarely even visit. Only his uncle often goes to see Alyosha, because he is very attached to the boy and because he well remembers his loneliness in the same boarding house many years ago. Who is this man?

(Slide 4) This, as you may have guessed, is Antony Pogorelsky, whose real name is Alexey Alekseevich Perovsky.

(Slide 5) The son of a nobleman, the rich and powerful Count Alexei Kirillovich Razumovsky. The son of such a man could have been a prince, but Alexei was illegitimate. Count Alexey Kirillovich was especially favorably disposed toward Alexei. But he was a hot-tempered man, capable of terrible outbursts of anger. And in one of these evil moments, he sent his son to a closed boarding school.

(Slide 6) How lonely Alyosha was in the cold government rooms! He was very sad and then one day he decided to run away from the boarding house. The memory of the escape remained for the rest of his life with a limp: Alyosha fell from the fence and injured his leg. Perovsky took the surname Pogorelsky in honor of the village of Pogoreltsy, where he lived.

(Slide 7) Then Alyosha grew up. In August 1805, Alexey entered Moscow University and graduated in October 1807 with the degree of Doctor of Philosophy and Literary Sciences.

(Slide 8) Antony Pogorelsky led the life of a diligent official and became one of the founders of the “Society of Lovers of Russian Literature.” In 1812 he fought with Napoleon. In 1816 he returned to the joint venture, but his sister and nephew remained in his care, whom he took to his hereditary Little Russian estate Pogoreltsy.

(Slide 9) Here Pogorelsky composed the first science fiction stories in Russia. First, in 1825, he published “Lafert’s Poppy Tree.” Three years later, the book “The Double, or My Evenings in Little Russia,” the fairy tale “The Black Hen, or underground inhabitants”.

(Slide 10) In the summer of 1836, A. Pogorelsky went to Nice for treatment of a “chest illness” and died in Warsaw on the way there.

(Slide 11) We briefly introduced the guests of our quiz to the wonderful author Anthony Pogorelsky and now it’s time to invite the participants of the literary quiz to the stage. So, _________________________________ are invited to the stage.

We wish you all good luck! Be careful and fast.

And the jury members ___________________________ will monitor the progress of our quiz.

So, is everyone ready? And we begin!

Quiz.

(Slide 12) Pogorelsky wrote several books for adults, but one of his books was especially important for him - his fairy tale “The Black Hen”. He wrote it for his nephew. Little Alyosha told Pogorelsky how, while walking in the boarding house yard, he made friends with a chicken and how he saved it. And then, under the pen of Pogorelsky, this real incident turned into a fairy tale, kind and wise.

(Slide 13. Question 1) And now, we can ask you the first question.

So who was this boy for whom the fairy tale “The Black Hen” was written? Who is this boy Alyosha?

(Players' response)

(Slide 14) Let's see the correct answer on the screen.

And indeed, this is Alexey Nikolaevich Tolstoy.

(Slide 15) About forty years ago in St. Petersburg, on Vasilyevsky Island, in the First Line, there lived the owner of a men's boarding house. At that time, our St. Petersburg was already famous throughout Europe for its beauty, although it was still nowhere near what it is now.

And now the second question: What sights of St. Petersburg are mentioned at the beginning of the story by Anthony Pogorelsky?

(Players' response)

(Slide 16) Correct answer:

St. Isaac's Square, Horse Guards Manege, Peter the Great Monument, Admiralty.

(Slide 17) Among the thirty or forty children who studied at that boarding school, there was one boy named Alyosha. In general, the days of study passed quickly and pleasantly for him; but when Saturday came and all his comrades hurried home to their relatives, then Alyosha bitterly felt his loneliness. On Sundays and holidays he was left alone all day, and then his only consolation was reading books.

(Players' response)

(Slide 18) We look at the screen...

The teacher was a German by birth, and at that time the fashion for chivalric novels and fairy tales dominated in German literature, and the library that our Alyosha used consisted mostly of books of this kind.

(Slide 19) This house had a fairly spacious courtyard, separated from the alley wooden fence from baroque boards. Whenever they allowed him to play in the yard during rest hours, his first movement was to run up to the fence.

Attention question: Why did he do this?

(Players' response)

(Slide 20) All attention to the screen:

Here he stood on tiptoe and looked intently into the round holes with which the fence was dotted. He kept expecting that someday this sorceress would appear in the alley and through the hole would give him a toy, or a talisman, or a letter from daddy or mummy, from whom he had not received any news for a long time.

(Slide 21) And now we have a video question. Watch an excerpt from the cartoon “The Black Hen” and tell me, does everything correspond to the content of the book?

(Players' response)

(Slide 22) Let's listen to the correct answer.

Alyosha saved Chernushka from the cook, and not from the kite. (Alyosha threw himself so suddenly on the cook’s neck that she lost Chernushka from her hands, who, taking advantage of this, flew out of fear onto the roof of the barn and continued cackling there.)

What did Alyosha give to the cook Trinushka for Chernushka’s life? And why was this item so dear to him?

(Players' response)

(Slide 24) Let's look at the screen:

Alyosha took out of his pocket the imperial coin that made up his entire estate, which he treasured more than his own eyes, because it was a gift from his kind grandmother...

(Slide 25) On the day when Alyosha saved Chernushka, everyone was preparing to welcome a very important guest.

Who was this guest and why was Alyosha so surprised when he saw him?

(Players' response)

(Slide 26) Let's check if the answer is correct.

The guest was the director. Alyosha, to his extreme surprise, saw... not a feathered helmet, but just a small bald head, white with powder, the only decoration of which, as Alyosha later noticed, was a small bun! When he entered the living room, Alyosha was even more surprised to see that, despite the simple gray tailcoat that the director wore instead of shiny armor, everyone treated him with unusual respect.

(Slide 27.) Then she cackled in a strange voice, and suddenly, out of nowhere, small candles appeared in silver chandeliers, no bigger than Alyosha’s small finger. These sandals ended up on the floor, on the chairs, on the windows, even on the washstand, and the room became as light as if it were daytime.

What are shandals?

(Players' response)

(Slide 28) Absolutely right.

These are candlesticks.

(Slide 29) Only then did Alyosha notice that next to the parrot there was a bed with white muslin curtains, through which he could discern an old woman lying with her eyes closed: she seemed to him as if made of wax. In another corner there was an identical bed where another old woman was sleeping, and next to her sat a gray cat and washed itself with its front paws. Passing by her, Alyosha could not resist asking her for her paws.

What were the consequences of Alyosha’s rash act?

(Players' response)

(Slide 30) Listen to the correct answer:

As soon as they approached the door, two knights jumped from the walls, hit their spears on their shields and rushed at the black chicken. Chernushka raised her crest, spread her wings... Suddenly she became big, big, taller than the knights, and began to fight with them! The knights advanced heavily on her, and she defended herself with her wings and nose.

“You are a good boy,” said the hen, “but at the same time you are flighty and never obey the first word, and this is not good!” Yesterday I told you not to touch anything in the old women’s rooms, despite the fact that you couldn’t resist asking the cat for a paw. The cat woke up the parrot, the old women's parrot, the old women's knights - and I managed to cope with them!

Now our participants will have a little rest, and the next question will be for our viewers. We ask you not to shout out from your seat, and if someone shouts out, the player of this class will be fined, which means that the player will lose one token. To give an answer you need to quickly raise your hand.

(Slide 31) So the question.

Describe the hall that Alyosha found himself in after long underground passages.

(Fan response)

(Slide 32) Did our fans answer correctly? Let's check... Suddenly they entered a hall illuminated by three large crystal chandeliers. The hall had no windows, and on both sides hung on the walls knights in shiny armor, with large feathers on their helmets, with spears and shields in iron hands.

(Slide 33) The next night Alyosha got dressed again and went for the chicken. Again they entered the old women's chambers, but this time he did not touch anything.

Question to the players: What happened this time?

(Players' response)

(Slide 34) That's right, all attention is on the screen...

The porcelain dolls nodded their heads to Alyosha, but he remembered Chernushka’s order and walked on without stopping, but he could not resist bowing to them in passing. The dolls immediately jumped off the table and ran after him, still nodding their heads. He almost stopped - they seemed so funny to him; but Chernushka looked back at him with an angry look, and he came to his senses.

(Slide 35) The side door opened, and a lot of small people, no more than half an arshin tall, in elegant multi-colored dresses came in. ...Alyosha looked at them silently for a long time and was just about to approach one of them with a question, when a large door opened at the end of the hall... Everyone fell silent, stood in two rows against the walls and took off their hats. In an instant the room became even brighter; all the little candles lit up even brighter - and Alyosha saw...

Attention question: And what did he see?

(Players' response)

(Slide 36) Let's check if the answer is correct...

Twenty little knights entered in pairs in a quiet march. Then, in deep silence, they stood on both sides of the chairs. A little later a man with a majestic posture entered the hall, wearing a shining crown on his head. precious stones. Alyosha immediately guessed that it must be the king.

(Slide 37) The king decided to generously thank Alyosha for saving the minister. Alyosha became thoughtful and didn’t know what to wish. If they had given him more time, he might have come up with something good; but since it seemed discourteous to him to make him wait for the king, he hastened to answer.

So the question is: So what did Alyosha wish and how did the king react to his wish?

(Players' response)

(Slide 38) The answer is correct!

“I would like,” he said, “that, without studying, I would always know my lesson, no matter what I was given.

“I didn’t think you were such a sloth,” answered the king, shaking his head. - But there is nothing to do: I must fulfill my promise.

(Slide 39) What was given to Alyosha for saving Chernushka and under what conditions?

(Players' response)

(Slide 40) Everything is correct!

The king waved his hand, and the page brought a golden dish on which lay one hemp seed.

Take this seed,” said the king. - As long as you have it, you will always know your lesson, no matter what you are given, with the condition, however, that under no pretext do you say a single word to anyone about what you saw here or will see in the future. The slightest immodesty will deprive you of our favors forever, and will cause us a lot of trouble and trouble.

(Slide 41) As a sign of gratitude for saving the minister, it was decided to show Alyosha all the underground rarities.

What kind of rarities were you talking about?

(Players' response)

(Slide 42) Answer on screen:

First, the minister took Alyosha into the garden. From the garden they went to the menagerie. Returning to the rooms after the walk, Alyosha big hall I found a set table. Then they went hunting.

(Slide 43). Eight rats were killed during the hunt. After the hunt, Alyosha asked the minister a question.

Please tell me why you killed the poor rats that don’t bother you and live so far from your home?

This is the next question of our game. Answer Alyosha's question.

(Players' response)

(Slide 44) If we have listened to all the answers, then look at the screen:“If we had not exterminated them,” said the minister, “they would soon have kicked us out of our rooms and destroyed all our food supplies.” In addition, mice and rat furs have a high price in our country because of their lightness and softness. Some noble persons are allowed to use them here.

(Slide 45) The minister was very surprised that Alyosha had never heard of underground inhabitants. He said…

Have you never heard that our people live underground? True, not many manage to see us, but there were examples, especially in the old days, of us coming out into the world and showing ourselves to people. Now this rarely happens...

Question: Why did the underground inhabitants begin to show themselves to people less and less and what consequences did people’s rash actions entail?

(Players' response)

(Slide 46) You are absolutely right. Attention to the screen...:

Because people have become very immodest. And we have a law that if the one to whom we have appeared does not keep this a secret, then we are forced to immediately leave our location and go far, far away to other countries.

(Slide 47) Question for the audience.

In what lesson did Alyosha first experience magical power hemp seed?

(Viewer response)

(Slide 48) You have studied the work well, well done! Let's look at the screen:

The history lesson especially bothered Alyosha: he was asked to memorize several pages from Shrek's book " World history", and he still didn’t know a single word! Monday came, and classes began. From ten o’clock to twelve, the owner of the boarding house himself taught history.

(Slide 49) Possessing a new gift, Alyosha unmistakably, without stopping, said what was asked. The teacher praised him very much, but Alyosha did not accept his praise with the pleasure that he had previously felt in similar cases.

What prevented Alyosha from enjoying success?

(Players' response)

(Slide 51) At first Alyosha was ashamed of the praise, feeling that he did not deserve it at all, but little by little he began to get used to it, and finally his pride reached the point that he accepted, without blushing, the praise that was showered on him. Moreover, Alyosha became a terrible naughty man.

What is the reason for Alyosha’s pranks?

(Players' response)

(Slide 52) Let's check...

Having no need to repeat the lessons that were assigned to him, he was engaged in pranks while other children were preparing for classes, and this idleness spoiled his character even more.

(Slide 53) When Alyosha lost a hemp seed, Chernushka returned it, saying the following:

Now I have to leave you, Alyosha! Here is the hemp seed that you dropped in the yard. It was in vain that you thought that you had lost him irrevocably. Remember, however, that you gave your word of honor to keep everything you know about us secret... Alyosha! Don’t add even worse to your current bad qualities...

What is the worst quality of a person? And what did Chernushka say about vices?

(Players' response)

(Slide 54) That's right, the worst quality of a person- ingratitude.

“Don’t think,” answered Chernushka, “that it is so easy to recover from vices when they have already taken over us. Vices usually enter through the door and exit through a crack, and therefore, if you want to improve, you must constantly and strictly look after yourself.

(Slide 55) The teacher agreed to forgive Alyosha on only one condition, if he admits his guilt and tells him when he learned his lesson. Alyosha completely lost his head... he forgot the promise he made to the underground king and his minister, and began to talk about the black chicken, about knights, about little people...

What was the teacher’s reaction to the story about the underground inhabitants?

(Players' response)

(Slide 56) Let's check if the answer was given correctly...

The teacher didn't let him finish...

How! - he cried with anger. - Instead of repenting of your bad behavior, you still decided to fool me by telling me a fairy tale about a black hen?.. This is too much. No, children! You see for yourself that he cannot but be punished!

And poor Alyosha was whipped!!

(Slide 57) Suddenly someone pulled the blanket... Alyosha involuntarily looked over, and Chernushka stood in front of him.

Attention, question! In what form did Chernushka appear in last time and what horrified Alyosha so much?

(Players' response)

(Slide 58 ) We look at the screen...

Chernushka appeared not in the form of a chicken, but in a black dress, a crimson cap with teeth and a white starched neckerchief, just as he had seen her in the underground hall. The minister raised both hands up, and Alyosha saw that they were chained with a gold chain... He was horrified!..

(Slide 59) What happened to the underground inhabitants, and how it turned out future life Alyosha?

(Players' response)

(Slide 60) Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened...

The underground inhabitants were forced to leave their homes and leave forever. And Alyosha, after a long illness, tried to be obedient, kind, modest and diligent. Everyone loved him again and began to caress him, and he became an example for his comrades, although he could no longer learn by heart twenty printed pages all of a sudden - which, however, he was not asked to do.

(Slide 61) And last question to the hall. We can speculate a little while the jury sums up the results of the quiz.

What are moral lessons lives that the fairy tale “The Black Hen” gives us?

(Several answers from the audience)

Generalization.

(Slide 62) So, to summarize:

QUESTIONS AND TASKS. WORKING WITH TEXT

Where does the story begin?

Read the fragments of the story that prove this.

About forty years ago in St. Petersburg, on Vasilievsky Island, in the First Line, there lived the owner of a men's boarding house, which to this day, probably, remains in the fresh memory of many, although the house where the boarding house was located has long been has already given way to another, not at all similar to the previous one. At that time, our St. Petersburg was already famous throughout Europe for its beauty, although it was still nowhere near what it is now. Then on the avenues Vasilyevsky Island there were no cheerful shady alleys: wooden platforms, often knocked together from rotten boards, took the place of the present beautiful sidewalks. Isaac's Bridge - narrow and uneven at that time - presented a completely different appearance than it does now; and St. Isaac's Square itself was not like that at all. Then the monument to Peter the Great was separated from St. Isaac's Church by a ditch; The Admiralty was not surrounded by trees; The Horse Guards riding arena did not decorate the square with its beautiful current façade; in a word, Petersburg then was not the same as it is now...

...the children's bedrooms were located on the lower floor, right side the entryway, and on the left lived two old women, Dutch women, each of whom was more than a hundred years old and who saw Peter the Great with their own eyes and even spoke to him. Nowadays, it is unlikely that in all of Russia you will meet a person who has seen Peter the Great...

Where does Alyosha live? Why was he there? Is his life good?

Alyosha lives in a boarding school; his parents brought him here two years ago. At first Alyosha was very homesick, but gradually he got used to it.

How do they treat Alyosha at the boarding house?

Everyone (both teachers and students) loves and caresses him.

What does Alyosha do in his free time?

He loves to read, especially books about knights, and then dream, imagining himself as a knight. He helps the director and his wife with housework. He plays in the yard, feeds the chickens, watches the street through the holes in the fence.

What can we say about Alyosha, knowing about his passions?

He is smart (one of the best students), sweet, kind, caring. He is a visionary and a dreamer (it seems to him that the holes in the fence were drilled for him by sorceresses). And his only friends are... chickens. The boy is lonely, his parents do not come to him, he is the only one of the children who does not leave the boarding school during holidays and vacations, and does not receive letters from mom and dad.

Alyosha is missing parental love and affection. Therefore, he becomes attached to the chickens, especially Chernushka, who sometimes allows herself to be stroked.

Alyosha is also peace-loving, he doesn’t like it when chickens fight and he “punishes” them by not giving them food for several days. Alyosha cannot stand cruelty (he cannot forget a slaughtered cockerel for a long time), he has a gentle and impressionable soul.

Why did Alyosha rush so furiously to save Chernushka?

He considers her his friend and loves her.

Tell us how Alyosha saves the chicken.

He begs the cook Trina, cries, gives away his only treasure - a golden imperial gift from his grandmother.

How does this action characterize Alyosha?

He is a wonderful friend: he is ready to sacrifice everything in the world to save Chernushka. He does not doubt for a second his decision to pay for the life of his friend (the imperial is dear to him, first of all, because it is a memory of his grandmother)

So let's do the first conclusions .

Alyosha is a wonderful boy: smart, kind, observant, dreamy. He is capable of sacrificing everything for his friend. These virtues of his were highly appreciated by the king of the underworld and Alyosha was honored to become his guest.

Read the description of the kingdom.

Left alone, Alyosha began to carefully examine the hall, which was very richly decorated. It seemed to him that the walls were made of Labradorite, such as he had seen in the mineral cabinet in the boarding house; the panels and doors were of pure gold. At the end of the hall, under a green canopy, on an elevated place, there were armchairs made of gold.

Alyosha really admired this decoration, but it seemed strange to him that everything was in the smallest form, as if for small dolls...

First he took him to the garden, arranged in English style. The paths were strewn with large multi-colored reeds, reflecting the light from countless small lamps with which the trees were hung. Alyosha really liked this shine.

“You call these stones,” said the minister, “precious.” These are all diamonds, yachts, emeralds and amethysts.

Oh, if only our paths were strewn with this! - Alyosha cried.

Then they would be just as valuable to you as they are here,” answered the minister.

The trees also seemed extremely beautiful to Alyosha, although at the same time very strange. They were different color: red, green, brown, white, blue and purple. When he looked at them with attention, he saw that they were nothing more than various kinds of moss, only taller and thicker than usual. The minister told him that this moss was ordered by the king for a lot of money from distant countries and from the very depths of the globe.

From the garden they went to the menagerie. There they showed Alyosha wild animals that were tied on golden chains. Peering more closely, he, to his surprise, saw that these wild animals were nothing more than big rats, moles, ferrets and similar animals that live in the ground and under floors. He found this very funny, but out of politeness he did not say a word.

Returning to the rooms after a walk, Alyosha found a set table in the large hall, on which all sorts of sweets, pies, pates and fruits were placed. The dishes were all made of pure gold, and the bottles and glasses were carved from solid diamonds, yachts and emeralds...

Why was the king upset by the choice of gift that Alyosha gave?

The boy could have asked for anything, but he chose a seed that would allow him to study well without putting any effort into it. The king was upset by Alyosha's laziness.

What happens to Alyosha when he begins to use the power of the magic seed?

The teacher praised him very much, but Alyosha did not accept his praise with the pleasure that he had previously felt in such cases. An inner voice told him that he did not deserve this praise, because this lesson did not cost him any effort...

Alyosha, as I said above, at first was ashamed of the praise, feeling that he did not deserve it at all, but little by little he began to get used to it, and finally his pride reached the point that he accepted, without blushing, the praise that was showered on him . He began to think a lot about himself, put on airs in front of other boys and imagined that he was much better and smarter than all of them. As a result, Aleshin’s character completely deteriorated: from a kind, sweet and modest boy, he became proud and disobedient. His conscience often reproached him for this, and his inner voice said to him: “Alyosha, don’t be proud! Don’t attribute to yourself what doesn’t belong to you; thank fate for the fact that it brought you benefits against other children, but don’t think that you better than them. If you don’t improve, then no one will love you, and then you, with all your learning, will be the most unfortunate child!”

Sometimes he even intended to improve; but, unfortunately, his pride was so strong that it drowned out the voice of his conscience, and he became worse day by day, and day by day his comrades loved him less.

Moreover, Alyosha became a terrible naughty man. Having no need to repeat the lessons that were assigned to him, he was engaged in pranks while other children were preparing for classes, and this idleness spoiled his character even more. Finally, everyone was so tired of him with his bad temper that the teacher seriously began to think about means to correct such a bad boy...

Has the attitude of students and teachers towards Alyosha changed?

Yes. The teachers began to give him huge tasks as punishment and scold him, although they had previously been proud of his successes and invited parents and other teachers to admire Alyosha.

Then, when he was a kind and modest child, everyone loved him, and if he happened to be punished, then everyone pitied him, and this served him as a consolation; but now no one paid attention to him: everyone looked at him with contempt and did not say a word to him. He decided to start a conversation with one boy, with whom he had previously been very friendly, but he turned away from him without answering. Alyosha turned to another, but he didn’t want to talk to him either and even pushed him away when he spoke to him again. Then unfortunate Alyosha felt that he deserved such treatment from his comrades.

Why does the king forgive him by returning the seed to him the first time?

He was generous and forgave Alyosha. In addition, the boy was very upset and cried a lot, left without the support of his comrades.

Did the gift ultimately help Alyosha? underground king? Why?

No. Alyosha has changed for the worse. The hemp seed did not bring him happiness; his comrades and teachers turned away from the hero. Only the victory that you achieve through your own efforts is valuable.

What made Alyosha reveal the secret of Chernushka and the underground inhabitants? Do we recognize the old Alyosha in this action of his?

He was afraid of the teacher's anger and humiliating punishment. I became faint-hearted. At the beginning of the story, Alyosha was ready to save Chernushka by any means necessary, but now he betrayed his friend and forced the underground inhabitants to become wanderers.

What happened to Alyosha after he told everyone about the underground inhabitants? How is it changing?

Alyosha was in for painful remorse and repentance. He will always feel guilty that the underground inhabitants were forced to leave their beautiful kingdom, and Chernushka will wear chains on her hands.

The author loves Alyosha, he is sad to see how the boy changes. HE sympathizes with his difficult, lonely childhood, admires his good qualities and nobility. The author forgives Alyosha for his cowardice and betrayal, showing how deep his repentance is. What happened became for Alyosha good lesson, and he will definitely correct himself and become the same.

Six weeks later, Alyosha, with God’s help, recovered, and everything that happened to him before his illness seemed to him like a heavy dream. Neither the teacher nor his comrades reminded him a word about the black chicken or the punishment he had suffered. Alyosha himself was ashamed to talk about it and tried to be obedient, kind, modest and diligent. Everyone loved him again and began to caress him, and he became an example for his comrades, although he could no longer learn by heart twenty printed pages all of a sudden - which, however, he was not asked to do.

Let's summarize our discussion. Let's draw conclusions.
