Anyone can take part in the competition, regardless of age, place of residence, professional training, membership in creative unions etc. Only works by living writers are accepted for the competition. Participants have the right to participate in the competition in one or several categories. Each participant can send a total of no more than 3 works to the competition, regardless of how many nominations he participates in.

The literary forum is part of the large and multifaceted Slavic Arts Forum “Golden Knight”, which has existed for 27 years and includes a theatrical, musical, forum fine arts and even Russian martial art.

The creative competition within the framework of the literary forum takes place in two stages. This year competition works were selected in seven categories: prose, poetry, journalism, literature for children and youth, literature on history Slavic peoples, works on Slavic literary criticism, literary film scripts.

In total, 391 works were submitted to the competition from 37 regions of Russia, as well as from Armenia, Belarus, Germany, Georgia, Israel, China, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Serbia, the USA and Ukraine. 117 participants reached the finals.
