The international literary competition “Golden Knight” has been announced. Deadline August 1, 2013.
Organizers: LLC International Film Forum “Golden Knight”, Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, Union of Writers of Russia, Literary Institute named after. A.M. Gorky.
The competition is taking place within the framework of the international Slavic literary forum “Golden Knight”. The motto of the forum: “For moral ideals, for the elevation of the human soul."
Anyone can take part in the competition, regardless of age, place of residence, professional training, membership in creative unions etc. Only works by living writers are accepted for the competition. Participants have the right to participate in the competition in one or several categories. Each participant can send a total of no more than 3 works to the competition, regardless of how many nominations he participates in.
To participate in the competitive component of the forum, works of domestic and foreign authors published in Russian no earlier than January 1, 2011, corresponding to the motto of the forum in the following nominations are accepted:
- Prose – novels, stories, collections of stories;
- Poetry – poems, collections of poems;
- Journalism – collections of articles, journalistic works;
- Literature for youth – novels, stories, collections of stories for young people.

The final stage of the International Slavic Literary Forum brought together dozens of poets, prose writers, publicists, and screenwriters in Pyatigorsk. Among those who received a diploma from the literary forum is the young Pyatigorsk author Alla Dementieva.

The literary forum is part of the large and multifaceted Slavic Arts Forum “Golden Knight”, which has existed for 27 years and includes a theatrical, musical, forum fine arts and even Russian martial art.
The creative competition within the framework of the literary forum takes place in two stages. This year competition works were selected in seven categories: prose, poetry, journalism, literature for children and youth, literature on history Slavic peoples, works on Slavic literary criticism, literary film scripts.
In total, 391 works were submitted to the competition from 37 regions of Russia, as well as from Armenia, Belarus, Germany, Georgia, Israel, China, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Serbia, the USA and Ukraine. 117 participants reached the finals.
Besides the masters artistic word, theater and film artists took an active part in the literary forum - Aristarkh Livanov, Boris Shcherbakov, Dmitry Pevtsov, Anastasia Makeeva, Anna Levanova.
