A year ago we wrote about 30 British boys - the success was unprecedented. So we continue the tradition - we select the most interesting young actors whose careers are worth following closely, if you haven’t already.
Before making this list, we agreed on three things:
- firstly, we take only those actors who were under thirty at the time of compiling the list. So, with tears in our eyes, we did not include Shia LaBeouf and Scott Eastwood, who recently turned thirty; We were horrified to learn that Paul Dano and Jesse Eisenberg were also older than the magic number.
- secondly, we only hire actors born in the United States. Sorry, Anthony Ingraber, you neither became Han Solo nor made it onto our list. You shouldn't have been born in the Philippines. 8. Dylan O'Brien (24)
O'Brien was seriously choosing what to do - sports journalism or acting - until the movie won.

One of the oldest heroes in our top is a fully accomplished actor, whose career was not even spoiled by even a major flop film (hello, “Fantastic Four”!).
Jordan's breakthrough film, his ticket to the big leagues, so to speak, was Fruitvale Station, a 2013 Sundance winner.
