The combination of crab sticks, processed cheese and mayonnaise will not surprise anyone now - it is quite often found in many appetizers: salads, canapés, tartlets. But all these ingredients combined with a tomato are already something new! I'll tell you more: it turns out very good combination, which makes the taste of your dish interesting and vibrant.

I used it to make a pita bread snack roll, and was pleased with the result: all the guests, without exception, liked the crab pita bread roll. Try it, I’m sure you will also appreciate this lavash roll with crab sticks!

Ingredients:

  • 1 thin pita bread measuring 20x40 cm;
  • 100 g crab sticks;
  • 1 processed cheese;
  • 1 medium-sized tomato;
  • 1 clove of garlic;
  • 1 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
  • 3-4 sprigs of dill.

Preparation:

Three processed cheese on a medium or coarse grater. I usually take high-fat cheeses. Such as “Friendship” or “Yantar” - they taste better. But there is one small drawback to such cheeses - they are too soft and do not grate well. Therefore, first I put the cheese in the freezer for 15 minutes, after which it becomes hard enough to easily grate.

Also grate three crab sticks on a medium or coarse grater.

Finely chop the dill.

Combine processed cheese, crab sticks, and dill in a salad bowl. Add garlic, passed through a press, and mayonnaise.

Mix. The result is a homogeneous mass, very tasty, by the way.

Cut the tomato into small cubes. At the same time, we immediately separate the middle with the seeds - it is quite liquid, and it is better not to use it for this recipe so that the lavash roll does not turn out too wet.

Spread the mixture of crab sticks, processed cheese and dill with garlic on a sheet of lavash.

Place tomato cubes on top.

AND Now roll the pita bread into a tight roll. We take our time, do everything carefully so that the roll turns out even.

Then we pack the roll in cling film and leave it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

Before serving, cut the roll into pieces up to 2 cm thick.

Tips and tricks:

If you don’t really like garlic, then simply exclude it from the ingredients: it won’t be as spicy, but you won’t feel discomfort.

Crab sticks, like processed cheese, can be difficult to grate. In this case, they can also be put in the freezer for a while, and only then grated. Alternatively, you can simply chop them very finely.
