Cell phone with the most powerful battery. The most budget smartphone with a large battery capacity: rating, characteristics and reviews

A powerful battery is one of the important characteristics of a modern smartphone that buyers pay attention to. A capacious battery allows you to use the gadget for several days without recharging, listen to music, surf the World Wide Web and simply make calls. Some models can “live” 20 hours of talk time, 70 hours of listening to music (3 days!) and up to 1000 hours of standby time. These “battery phones” will be discussed in our rating of the best smartphones with a powerful battery.

The position in the ranking will depend not only on battery power, but also on other characteristics, including price, screen diagonal, amount of RAM, scratch resistance, weight and, of course, reviews from real users.

  1. Standby time – at least 700 hours
  2. Talk time – at least 40 hours
  3. Memory (GB) – the size of the phone’s built-in memory must be at least 32 GB
  4. RAM capacity (MB) – at least 3072 MB
  5. Screen resolution – at least 1920x1080
  6. GLONASS – the ability to determine coordinates using the GLONASS system
  7. Number of processor cores – at least 4
  8. Camera quality - for some users it is important that the smartphone not only has a capacious battery, but also allows you to take relatively high-quality photos
  9. Scratch-resistant glass – the phone screen has a protective glass that is scratch-resistant
  10. Maximum memory card capacity (GB) – the minimum capacity that the phone can support should be 64 GB.
  11. HSDPA / HSUPA – mobile phone support for new generation wireless data transmission technology
  12. Weight (g) – preference is given to lighter devices

For quite objective reasons, the ranking included mainly Chinese smartphones. This shouldn’t be surprising, since the “Chinese” have begun to produce truly the most capacious phones, and, most importantly, at a very affordable price and acceptable quality.

The best inexpensive smartphones with a powerful battery: budget up to 10,000 rubles.

3 BQ BQ-5059 Strike Power

Best price
A country:
Average price: 5,990 RUR
Rating (2018): 4.5

We start with the most budget smartphone – a representative of the BQ company. This is a typical representative of the budget family, but not without pleasant features. What interests us most is the powerful 5000 mAh battery. Under high load conditions it will last 2-3 days. In addition, there is OTG, through which you can not only connect flash drives, but also recharge other, weaker smartphones. I was also pleased with the display – 5’, HD resolution, IPS matrix – the quality is excellent for such a cheap device. Finally, you can praise the device for the latest version of the OS – Android 7.0.

Otherwise, the disadvantages begin due to the extremely low cost. Firstly, the small amounts of RAM and permanent memory - 1 and 8 GB, respectively - do not allow you to fully work with several applications or install “heavy” games. And it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to play - the simple MediaTek MT6580 will provide the proper level of fps only in undemanding casual games. Secondly, there is no 4G LTE, which is unforgivable for a modern smartphone.

2 Meizu M6 Note 16GB

The highest quality budget long-liver
Country: China
Average price: 10,490 RUR
Rating (2018): 4.7

It just so happens that the entire top three in the budget segment is occupied by Chinese manufacturers. But Meizu is the most famous and civilized of them. The model stands out poorly. The battery is “only” 4000 mAh, but judging by user reviews, with intensive use it lasts for two days, and as a “dialer” the M6 Note will last 5-6 days. Taking into account the support for the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging function, with which the phone replenishes the battery capacity in a little more than an hour, there are no complaints about autonomy at all.

The rest is average for 2017: “not trendy” 16:9 screen, Android 7.0, 16 GB of permanent memory. But there are also enough advantages: 4G support, a good processor (Snapdragon 625), high-quality photos and sound. We highly recommend it!

1 DOOGEE BL5500 Lite

The most trendy smartphone with a powerful battery
Country: China
Average price: 8,930 ₽
Rating (2018): 4.7

The iPhone X laurels are keeping the Chinese from DOOGEE awake. This is clearly visible in the design of the budget BL5500 - vertical camera position, unibrow, rounded edges and relatively thin frames - all in accordance with the trends. At the same time, the autonomy will please those who still remember push-button devices that last a week on a single charge. Battery capacity 5500 mAh. It claims 35 hours of talk time and almost a month (!) of waiting time. In reality, you should expect 2.5-3 days of active use.

In addition, the “filling” does not predispose to excessive energy consumption. It uses a 6.19" display with a resolution of only 1500x720 pixels, a simple 4-core processor from MediaTek and 2 GB of RAM (16 GB of ROM). But DOOGEE can boast of 4G, a dual camera and a fingerprint scanner.

The best smartphones with a powerful battery in the mid-segment: budget up to 25,000 rubles.

3 Xiaomi Mi Max 2 64GB

Largest display
Country: China
Average price: 11,400 ₽
Rating (2018): 4.6

The category of long-lasting mid-class smartphones Mi Max 2 from Xiaomi opens. The model turned out to be so successful that it has earned a huge number of positive reviews from professional testers and ordinary users. And this is not the first time this giant with a 6.44-inch screen appears on our website. The FullHD IPS matrix provides excellent image quality, which makes watching videos, playing games and simply surfing the Internet extremely pleasant. At the same time, you don’t have to worry about autonomy, because the engineers managed to install a 5300 mAh battery in a thin 7.6 mm case. It is enough for two full working days. Don’t worry about long recharge times – Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology is used. By the way, modern USB Type-C is present.

In terms of hardware, Mi Max 2 is typically average. The processor may be from 2017, but its power will be sufficient for most tasks in 2019. RAM 4 GB, internal memory 64 GB. There are all the necessary communication modules, and in addition to them, a rare but useful IR sensor for controlling equipment, Wi-Fi Direct and three navigation systems for maximum accuracy and speed.

2 Xiaomi Pocophone F1 6/64GB

The most powerful mid-range smartphone
Country: China
Average price: RUB 21,890
Rating (2018): 4.7

A flagship for 22 thousand rubles? It is quite possible if it is Xiaomi. Pocophone impresses with many things, including its battery. Capacity – non-standard for the class 4000 mAh. Most competitors are “weaker” by almost a third. This allows you to at least survive from early morning to late evening with very intensive use. And if you slow down, the battery will last the second day. In addition, there is fast charging from Qualcomm.

The rest of the characteristics are pleasing. 6.2’ display with FullHD+ resolution, the most powerful Snapdragon 845 processor, 6 GB of RAM, support for all modern communication standards, including Bluetooth 5.0. The dual camera is also great. In general, a very fast, but affordable and autonomous flagship from Xiaomi. Surprised!

1 ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 ZB602KL 3/32GB

The best combination of price, autonomy and characteristics
Country: China
Average price: 12,800 ₽
Rating (2018): 4.8

ASUS can hardly be called a leader in the smartphone market, but models like ZenFone Max Pro M1 deservedly received popular love. First of all, the model is interesting for its 5000 mAh battery. The manufacturer claims 42 hours of talk time and 840 hours of standby! In reviews, users boast of two or even three days of battery life under normal load.

I don't want to let go of the device. All thanks to a good 6-inch IPS display (2160x1080 pixels) and a powerful mid-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. There is not much memory - 3/32 GB (RAM/ROM), there is a slot for MicroSD. The communication modules are modern, as is the Android version – 8.1. The only disappointment is the mediocre quality of the dual camera.

The best rugged smartphones with a powerful battery (shockproof and waterproof housing)

A smartphone is an integral part of the tools a modern person needs. They do not leave it alone at home, at work, or on vacation, which means there is a high probability of its breakdowns. To prevent this from happening, you should purchase additionally protected devices. The most sought-after characteristics are waterproof and shockproof.
The waterproof case is designed in a special way to protect the device from liquids. With such a gadget, you are not afraid to find yourself in the rain, sleet or splashes on the beach. It is worth remembering that not all models are completely sealed, so immersion in water can lead to serious damage and breakdown.
The shock resistance of the device is achieved by using special materials that prevent the smartphone from malfunctioning if it falls or hits hard surface. For people who prefer active recreation and extreme sports, this device is suitable like no other.

4 Caterpillar S61

Good characteristics and unique features
A country: USA (manufactured in China)
Average price: 50,680 RUR
Rating (2018): 4.6

Caterpillar is known to many for its indestructible mining machines and clothing. The company's smartphone also has the same characteristics. The appearance is modest - no screws or hypertrophied linings. All the most interesting things are inside. What interests us most is the 4500 mAh battery. The indicator is not the best in its class, but it is enough for a couple of days of active use of the device. The manufacturer claims 35 hours of talk time and 888 hours of standby.

The processor, memory and cameras are average and do not deserve special attention. But about a thermal imager (for example, it will allow you to identify heat leaks in the house), a laser rangefinder (digital “roulette” with an error of only 5-8 mm) and an air quality sensor will definitely surprise you. There are likely to be many professions where the combination of these sensors, autonomy and ruggedness will come in handy.

3 DOOGEE S50 6/64GB

The most beautiful rugged smartphone
Country: China
Average price: 15,490 RUR
Rating (2018): 4.6

Most rugged smartphones resemble a brick, but not the DOOGEE S50. The model is brutal, but without excesses - elegance is also present. Everything is great inside too. The 5180 mAh battery is especially pleasing. With active use, it will last for 2.5-3 days. When going to the forest, you can safely count on a week of use in camera mode (besides, there are 4 cameras here, and they are not of poor quality) and rare calls.

The filling is average, but the manufacturer did not skimp on memory: 6 GB of RAM and 64 ROM. The case with a 5.7-inch HD+ screen (18:9 aspect ratio) is protected according to the IP68 standard, and, judging by user reviews, it holds up well to impact. The only complaint about the S50 is the terrible quality of the speaker: the sound is quiet, wheezing, and does not always work - be sure to check before purchasing.

2 Blackview BV6000

Best price
Country: China
Average price: 11,990 RUR
Rating (2018): 4.0

The second position in the rating is occupied by another “robust” one, Blackview BV6000, which can even withstand washing in an automatic machine, after which it calmly returns to the standard operating mode. The presented smartphone, unlike its competitors, has a better price of RUR 13,000. It is very rare to come across such a profitable offer on the market of rugged smartphones, given the fact that the device is no worse than similar models in terms of the quality of materials and performance characteristics.

The case is a well-assembled structure made of shockproof metal, plastic and third-generation Gorilla Glass. A wide 4.7-inch diagonal screen allows the user to comfortably watch videos and play games. The rear camera from Sony (13 MP) makes good quality pictures, and the front one (5 MP) makes it possible to see a clear picture when communicating through video messengers. Among the pleasant bonuses, the smartphone supports 4G LTE.

1 Conquest S8

Excellent equipment. 6000 mAh battery (22 hours talk time)
Country: China
Average price: 35,900 ₽
Rating (2018): 4.7

The clear leader in the rating among protected devices was the Conquest S8 smartphone. A capacious 6,000 mAh battery allows the device to operate in talk mode for 22 hours, and in standby mode for 950 hours. In addition to this obvious advantage, the main thing will still be the “indestructible” body of the gadget, made of high-strength metal and plastic. Many crash tests carried out clearly demonstrate ideal compliance with the characteristics declared by the manufacturer - the device is not afraid of complete immersion in water, strong impacts, falls from great heights, and even cars passing over it.

The device has a normal weight of 290 grams, a 5-inch screen and 16 GB of internal memory, expandable. The smartphone is equipped with a connector for an antenna, which is included in the kit. When using it, it is converted into a 1 W walkie-talkie with a frequency range of 400-470 MHz.

The best premium smartphones with a powerful battery

4 Xiaomi Mi Note 2 64GB

The most low price. Ultra-thin body
Country: China
Average price: 19,490 RUR
Rating (2018): 4.5

Let's start with Mi Note 2 from Xiaomi, made in a minimalist design. There are no unnecessary inscriptions, complex shapes, unnecessary elements - everything is strictly and neatly, glass and metal. The front and back surfaces “float” somewhat onto the sides, which creates a very pleasant visual effect. The model stands out for its record thickness – only 7.6 mm. At the same time, the battery is in no way inferior to those of competitors - 4070 mAh. How engineers managed to install such a battery in such a thin and light case is a mystery.

The screen is 5.7-inch, OLED, with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels – the picture is excellent. The processor is of the highest level, but last year - Qualcomm Snapdragon 821. Paired with it is 4 GB of RAM - useful, because MiUI consumes RAM in buckets. The camera has a high resolution of 22 megapixels, but there is no optical stabilization. The pictures come out quite good. Also noteworthy is the use of a modern USB Type-C connector and support for fast charging - this is very useful for such a capacious battery.

3 Huawei Mate 10 Dual Sim

Great sound and built-in neural network
Country: China
Average price: 29,490 ₽
Rating (2018): 4.6

Huawei's flagship is not a typical smartphone. But first things first. Externally, the new product looks fresh, stylish, and original. The combination of metal and glass feels very pleasant in the hand. The display is almost six inches, but the frames, in line with trends, are minimal, which is why the dimensions of the device remain within reasonable limits. Performance is quite typical for its class. All modern communication modules, a fingerprint scanner, dust and splash protection - a complete set for a gentleman. The battery is slightly smaller than the competition - 4000 mAh - but it's still significantly larger than most other flagships. Even in “hold your hands” mode, the phone will definitely survive from early morning until late evening. In economy mode, the battery can be extended for 2-2.5 days.

Several things deserve special attention. The most impressive thing is the neural network built into the processor. It “studies” the user and over time allows you to load into right time the right application for faster launch. It is also used for processing photos from the dual main camera module. Like many other Huawei smartphones, it uses one color (12 MP, f/1.6) and one monochrome module (20 MP). There is optical stabilization. Finally, the manufacturer decided to please audiophiles - Lossless sound is supported.

2 Huawei P20 Pro

The best camera on the market
Country: China
Average price: 46,650 RUR
Rating (2018): 4.7

Another representative of Huawei has today's top characteristics, but is no different from the previous participant in terms of battery. There is still the same 4000 mAh, which is enough for a day of active work or two with normal load for most users. But there is a fast charging function, with which the smartphone is charged to 100% in less than an hour!

The characteristics are typical of a flagship: 8-core HiSilicon Kirin 970, 6 GB of RAM, 4G LTE, NFC and many other goodies. But the camera is much more attractive: the triple module (40+20+8 megapixels) provides excellent quality of pictures and videos, recognized as the best on the market by authoritative publications. This is where a high-capacity battery comes in handy - you can take photos with it all day long!

1 Samsung Galaxy Note 9

High performance. Fast wireless charging
Country: South Korea
Average price: 59,990 RUR
Rating (2018): 4.8

The category leader again does not surprise with its battery. The already familiar 4000 mAh provides about 9 hours of screen operation when wireless communication modules are turned on. For most users, a smartphone can last about two days. We have already seen all this from our competitors. What's more pleasing is the charging capabilities. In addition to fast charging via cable (up to 100% in 90 minutes), fast wireless (!) charging is supported. The speed is lower, but how convenient.

The characteristics are, of course, flagship: Exynos 9810 processor, 6 GB of RAM and 128 ROM, an excellent dual camera and all the most latest versions communication modules. Separately, we note the magnificent 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2960x1440 pixels and the built-in stylus, which significantly expands the use cases for Note 9.

The best push-button phones with a powerful battery

3 BQ BQ-2430 Tank Power

4000 mAh for 2 thousand rubles
A country: Russia (manufactured in China)
Average price: 1,910 ₽
Rating (2018): 4.6

The category opens with a model from BQ with a very brutal, military design. In reality, unfortunately, the device is neither shock- nor water-resistant. But the name Tank Power fully justifies - the 4000 mAh battery lasts a long time. No, for a very long time! In reviews, users say that they were unable to drain the phone after a month of use. All thanks to the simplest filling, which only allows you to make calls, write SMS and listen to the radio (fortunately, there is a built-in FM antenna).

The battery is so large that the manufacturer has provided for using the phone as a power bank - you can charge a second phone or any other device. The only negative is the need to use a MicroUSB plug with a long “spout” - another one simply won’t fit into the connector.

2 Digma LINX A230WT 2G

Best battery capacity (6000mAh)
Country: China
Average price: 3,000 ₽
Rating (2018): 4.7

When you first look at Digma Linx, you are amazed by its dimensions. The case dimensions are comparable to modern smartphones in width, with a thickness of 2.5 cm and a weight of almost 300 grams. And this without an additional antenna! Of course, the lion's share of the mass falls on the gigantic 6000 mAh battery. This is a record figure in the class, which will be the envy of many smartphones. Depending on the intensity of use, the phone lasts for 1-3 months. Of course, if you don’t use it as a powerbank (there’s even a full-size USB connector for that).

From interesting features It is also worth noting a very bright flashlight (“hits” about 40 meters), which is turned on by a separate toggle switch even when the phone is turned off, and a walkie-talkie mode, for which that same antenna is needed. There are a lot of shortcomings, but on hikes, for which LINX was created, you pay little attention to them.

1 Philips Xenium E570

Best Features and Quality
Country: Netherlands
Average price: 4,460 rub.
Rating (2018): 4.7

The flagship among push-button phones– this is exactly how you can characterize the Xenium E570. Yes, the model is expensive. Yes, there are some minor flaws in the system that you have to get used to. But high quality The build quality, reliability and performance outweigh these negatives. Even externally the device looks beautiful - a large number of metal does its job. User reviews praise the main parameter for a dialer – the sound quality during a conversation. You hear your interlocutor well, and he, in turn, hears you well. Many budget phones often fail to provide even this.

Among the pleasant features, we note the presence of a 2 MP camera, sufficient for shooting important documents, support for WAP and GPRS, and 128 MB of internal memory. Battery capacity 3160 mAh. The manufacturer claims autonomy in standby mode for about six months! In reality, the E570 lasts about 3 weeks in active mode - an excellent indicator.

The rear camera from Sony (13 megapixels) takes good quality pictures, and the front camera (5 megapixels) makes it possible to see a clear picture when communicating through video messengers.

The lowest price.

It “learns” the user and over time allows the desired application to be loaded at the right time for faster launch.

The characteristics are, of course, flagship: Exynos 9810 processor, 6 GB of RAM and 128 ROM, an excellent dual camera and all the latest versions of communication modules.

Among the interesting features, it is also worth noting a very bright flashlight (“hits” about 40 meters), which is turned on by a separate toggle switch even when the phone is turned off, and a walkie-talkie mode, for which that same antenna is needed. There are a lot of shortcomings, but on hikes, for which LINX was created, you pay little attention to them.

1 Philips Xenium E570

Best Features and Quality
Country: Netherlands
Average price: 4,460 rub.
Rating (2018): 4.7

The flagship among push-button phones is how the Xenium E570 can be described. Yes, the model is expensive. Yes, there are some minor flaws in the system that you have to get used to. But the high build quality, reliability and performance outweigh these disadvantages. Even externally the device looks beautiful - a large amount of metal does its job. User reviews praise the main parameter for the dialer - the sound quality during a conversation.

Almost all modern smartphones, including affordable models, are now equipped with a huge number of useful options to make life as easy as possible for the user. In most cases, such devices have at their disposal a good camera for taking pictures and recording videos, powerful hardware, high-quality screens and much more. However, one of the most important parameters of a smartphone - the battery - often remains in the background.

The owner of a device with a small battery is forced to constantly recharge his device or use external energy sources, which, you see, is not always convenient, especially on long trips. However, there is a way out of this situation - on the market you can find a considerable number of models with high-capacity batteries (from 4000 mAh and above), providing a long service life on a single charge. There are similar solutions in both the entry-level and mid-range segments, and you can see the most interesting “long-lived” models below.

Huawei Y9 (2018)

Among the variety of models, Huawei does not yet have a device that would be positioned as “the brand’s longest-lasting smartphone.” However, there are a number of devices that combine not only good hardware and an attractive design, but also a battery with a good reserve of battery life. One of these was the recently debuted Huawei Y9 on our market - an almost complete copy of last year’s Honor 7X, but with a more capacious 4000 mAh battery, allowing the smartphone to last up to two days in active mode.

In other respects, we have before us a typical representative of the mid-budget segment of Huawei: the all-metal body of the device contains an elongated 5.93-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, a HiSilicon Kirin 659 chip, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage (expandable with a microSD card up to 256 GB), rear fingerprint scanner and dual-module cameras front and rear. The main one received sensors of 13 and 5 megapixels, and the front - 8 and 2 megapixels, respectively. Both cameras feature the ability to take portrait photos with background blur.

Nokia 2.1

At the end of May, the Finnish company HMD Global held a presentation in Moscow, where it presented several new Nokia smartphones, among which was the updated budget Nokia 2 of the 2018 model year. The device is called Nokia 2.1, and its main advantage, like its predecessor, is a battery with a high capacity of 4000 mAh.

The battery of the new product is slightly smaller (by 100 mAh) than that of the Nokia 2, but this is still a very impressive figure, and the manufacturer promises up to 2 days of continuous operation. Moreover, the device runs on Android 8.1 Go Edition, which is optimized for devices primary class, which in itself guarantees low energy consumption. In terms of hardware, Nokia 2.1 has evolved a little: front-facing stereo speakers have appeared, the HD screen has grown from 5 to 5.5” diagonally, and the low-power Snapdragon 212 processor has given way to the more modern and productive Snapdragon 425. The cameras have remained the same - a simple five-megapixel sensor is located in front, and the main photographic tool is an eight-megapixel module with a single LED flash and the ability to record video in 720p quality. The amount of RAM is a modest 1 GB, and the permanent memory is 8 GB. MicroSD memory cards are supported (up to 128 GB).

ZTE Blade A6 Max

ZTE Blade A6 Max is another affordable device with high battery life, which is achieved not only due to a capacious battery (4000 mAh), but also thanks to OS software features that help moderate energy consumption. These system features include a special economy mode, when activated, little-used applications terminate their processes, and when the screen fades, running programs go into the background. The device is also capable of automatically turning off a number of functions when the battery is low, leaving only the most necessary tasks available, such as making calls.

In essence, the ZTE Blade A6 Max is an affordable solution for unpretentious users for whom the main thing is good battery. This is confirmed by the characteristics presented by a 5.5-inch HD display, a Snapdragon 210 chip, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, as well as a simple eight-megapixel camera with autofocus. We also note the presence of an LTE module, a microSD card slot and an attractive case design. In addition to this, a nice bonus is the ability to recharge other devices via an OTG cable.

ASUS ZenFone Max M1 (ZB555KL) (3/32 GB)

The ZenFone Max M1 (ZB555KL) smartphone from ASUS is the younger version of the new ZenFone Max Pro M1, so both devices are similar in many ways. They are united by a common concept, accessibility and a battery with increased capacity, and the main distinguishing feature is the technical equipment.

In the regular ZenFone Max M1, compared to the Pro version, the filling of the metal case is simpler, and it itself is slightly smaller due to the smaller display diagonal (5.5" versus 5.99"). Besides, there's something else here working resolution(HD+ instead of Full HD+), but the wide 18:9 format is preserved. The battery also has more modest parameters compared to the ZenFone Max Pro M1. However, even 4000 mAh for a budget device is quite a lot, especially since the smartphone supports fast charging and is equipped with PowerMaster technology, which is responsible for saving energy and ensuring stable battery operation. The heart of the device is the Snapdragon 430 chip, complemented by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of permanent memory. The main camera is a combination of a pair of 13 and 8 megapixel modules, which are necessary for photos with the “Bokeh” effect and shooting wide-angle photos (120°).

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro (4/64 GB)

Like Huawei, Xiaomi also boasts a versatile smartphone that successfully balances the brink of performance and energy efficiency - this is the new Redmi Note 5 Pro.

Redmi Note 5 Pro is a solid mid-class smartphone, every detail in which is 100% consistent with the declared price, and in some places even exceeds it. The smartphone has almost everything you could want today: frameless screen (5.99”, 18:9, Full HD+), dual main camera (12+5 MP, F1.9/F2.0), unlock function face, a relatively high amount of memory (4/64 GB), as well as one of the best processors in its category (octa-core Snapdragon 636). It is impossible not to mention the appearance, which, despite its simplicity, looks quite modern - thanks to the all-metal shell and the vertically located main camera unit, reminiscent of the iPhone X. As for the battery, its capacity is 4000 mAh - not a record, but such indicators are sufficient, so as not to think about recharging during the day.

BQ 5206L Balance

Among devices with high-capacity batteries, there are not only mid-level devices costing 15–20 thousand rubles, but also very affordable models. Among them is the domestic company BQ with its latest Android smartphone BQ 5206L Balance.

You shouldn't expect a miracle from it in terms of basic specifications. Everything here is very standard. The key filling is represented by an HD display with a diagonal of 5.2 inches (naturally, 16:9), a quad-core MediaTek MT6737V chip with a clock frequency of 1.25 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory, a slot for microSD, as well as a couple of very meager cameras of 13 and 8 megapixels (main and front), which are also interpolated from 8 and 5 megapixels, respectively. Although they obviously buy such devices not for photo and video shooting. But in terms of operating time, everything is fine - a 5000 mAh battery, coupled with simple hardware, makes it possible to enjoy all the delights of a smartphone for 3 days on a single charge.

ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 (ZB601KL)

ASUS continues to strengthen its line Zenfone smartphones Max and just recently introduced another model from this series - Zenfone Max Pro M1 (ZB601KL). Traditionally for the brand, devices with the Max prefix in the name receive high level autonomy. And this time the manufacturer did not save on battery capacity, giving the device an impressive 5000 mAh battery.

According to ASUS, a battery pack of this size is enough for 25 hours of continuous video playback, 200 hours of music listening and more than 40 hours of calls on 3G networks. At the same time, the smartphone also supports accelerated charging technology, which allows you to charge it up to 100% in 2 hours 40 minutes. Otherwise, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 also does not disappoint at all: a high-quality 5.99-inch IPS display of 18:9 format with Full HD+ resolution, an eight-core Snapdragon 636 processor, 3 or 4 GB of RAM (with 32 or 64 GB of storage, respectively), main dual-module camera 13+5 megapixels, eight megapixel front camera, dual SIM card slot and fingerprint scanner. Operating system - Android 8.1 Oreo.

Blackview P6000

We have already reviewed smartphones with built-in batteries with a capacity of 4000, 5000, and 6000 mAh, and it would seem that there simply cannot be more impressive characteristics in the class of such compact devices. But they exist. The Chinese company OUKITEL has become one of the few manufacturers who has bothered to put a battery with a “laptop” capacity of 11,000 mAh into a smartphone!

The result is truly impressive. At the same time, OUKITEL K10 seems not just a super-autonomous device, but one of the devices of premium brands, like Tonino Lamborghini. The shell of this smartphone really looks expensive (materials are magnesium alloy, glass and leather), but its orientation can be determined by its considerable weight (283 g) and thickness (13.5 mm). The device is designed primarily for men. In addition to a beautiful “wrapper” and an 11,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging, the OUKITEL K10 stands out for its decent hardware. At your service is an elongated six-inch Full HD+ display in 18:9 format, a MediaTek Helio P23 processor, as much as 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB storage, a fingerprint scanner, USB connector Type-C, as well as dual main and front cameras (21+8 MP and 13+8 MP, respectively). For contactless payments, support for NFC and Google Pay is provided, and the basket of newfangled technologies is completed by the possibility of face unlocking.

DOOGEE BL12000 Pro (128 GB)

This material ends with the most “intimidating” smartphone of all presented here - DOOGEE BL12000 Pro. As a matter of fact, just by the name alone it is clear what distinguishes this smartphone from others. Of course, this is a battery with a record capacity of 12,000 mAh, allowing the device to operate for more than 40 days in standby mode! The only thing that can compete with such a record holder is the Energizer Power Max P16K Pro, but at the moment this “monster” is still a prototype, and DOOGEE can be bought right now.

Compared to the same OUKITEL K10, this smartphone is much more similar to ordinary “civilian” smartphones. It has a more discreet appearance, a bit reminiscent of some Honor devices due to the mirrored back panel. In terms of other equipment, DOOGEE BL12000 Pro is also noticeably ahead of any of the above devices: it has a six-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9, a dual main camera of 16 and 13 megapixels, a Helio P23 chipset from MediaTek , 128 GB storage, 6 GB RAM, and a wide-angle 16 MP selfie camera with a 130° lens. On the bottom edge there is a USB Type-C port, through which the smartphone is fully charged in 4 hours thanks to Fast Charge technology.

Modern developments surprise every day. Just a year ago, a 5-inch mobile phone was considered large. Smartphones with large screens are gaining a huge audience of fans. 6 inches - this display size is becoming the most popular in 2018.
It is difficult for an inexperienced average person to choose a good smartphone with a large screen and a powerful battery among the abundance of assortments. The rating of the best 6-inch mobile devices will help you make an excellent choice.

Rating of smartphones 2017-2018 with a large screen

The top 10 was compiled based on reviews in thematic forums, as well as sales statistics from leading companies.

The top ten is opened by a budget model from the famous company Alcatel. The display, despite the small resolution of 960x540, reproduces a fairly colorful picture.

The silver medalist of the rating is the much-loved brand from China, Xiaomi. Almost every smartphone model created by the company's developers has a similar design. Mi Max is no exception; the external design and metal-plastic body are recognizable at first sight.

A distinctive feature of the holder of the third position in the rating of smartphones with a large screen is a super-powerful 4850 mAh battery, which allows the device not to turn off for almost a week when used sparingly.
The screen is unusually large - 6.44 inches. A decent camera takes gorgeous photos filled with light, depth, and naturalness.

Specifications:

  1. Android 6.0;
  2. screen 6.44″, resolution 1920×1080;
  3. camera 16 MP;
  4. battery 4850 mAh;
  5. RAM 3 GB;
  6. support for two SIM cards.

Pros:

  • 2 SIM cards;
  • performance;
  • appearance.

Minuses:

  • There is no NFC in the 32 GB model.

The deserved leader in the top of the best smartphones with a large screen and a powerful battery is a tablet phone from Asus. The leading company has been developing mobile telephony giants in recent years. Moreover, this model is a giant not only in size - for a second, the diagonal of the device is 6.9 inches - but also in technical characteristics.

The ZenFone 3 Ultra ZU680KL was presented at the international Computexx exhibition, winning positive reviews from critics.
An ultra-thin smartphone is considered an advanced device, intended both for gaming use and as a player or camera phone. It is equipped with two modular speakers, a 23 MP main camera, and a built-in color filtering function.

The internal hardware is not the most powerful, but heavy games run great on high settings. The battery provides 4-6 hours of gameplay, 10-12 hours of web surfing, 5-7 days of sleep mode.

Some are looking for a smartphone with the fastest processor, while others are looking for a good, that is, powerful battery. Indeed, most modern smartphones cannot survive a day without a “date with a power outlet.” But once upon a time the most ordinary Cell phones like Nokia 3310 worked quite well for several days on one charge.

Some people find a solution in buying an external PowerBank and are forced to carry it with them all the time. However, there are smartphones with batteries of such capacity that they themselves can charge the same iPhone. Yes, in appearance they look like a heavy “brick” and are clearly not intended for a gentle lady’s hand, but they “live” for 5-7 days without recharging.

Today we have selected for you as many as 10 devices with powerful batteries with a capacity of 10,000 mAh or more. The price of most of them does not exceed $300, and there are also relatively budget options. But with them you don’t have to be afraid that your smartphone will run out of charge at the most unexpected moment.

So, our ten solutions with a really powerful battery:

P.S. In order to leave final choice buyer, the list has been compiled in alphabetical order. Looking ahead, we’ll say that our favorites in the end were the Blackview BV9500 ( high class protection, NFC, good camera) and Ulefone Power 5 (the most powerful battery available).

The first “especially long-lasting” smartphone from Blackview. According to the manufacturer, one full charge of the P10000 Pro should be enough for a week of work. In principle, if you use it only from time to time, this is really possible, however, even with intensive use, the device will last 2-3 days without recharging.

Main characteristics

  • Battery capacity: 11,000 mAh
  • Fast charging: Pump Express 4.0 (25W = 5V * 5A)
  • Dimensions: 165.0 x 77.0 x 14.6 mm
  • Weight: 293 g
  • Platform: MediaTek Helio P23 (MT6763)
  • Memory: 4 Gb RAM + 64 Gb Flash
  • Screen
  • Cameras: main 16.0 Mp + 0.3 Mp, front 13.0 Mp + 0.3 Mp
  • NFC: No
  • operating system: Android 7.1 Nougat
  • Protection: No
  • Release date: April 2018
  • Price: $219.99

According to synthetic tests, with the processor loaded at 100%, the Blackview P10000 Pro battery “lives” 19.5 hours, in video viewing mode at maximum screen backlight brightness - almost a whole day (23.5 hours). A very good result, which is simply unattainable for ordinary smartphones.

The P10000 Pro's 11,000 mAh battery can be fully charged in just 3 hours thanks to Pump Express 4.0 fast charging support. True, this is only possible if you use a proprietary 25-watt adapter and an original USB cable that has additional contacts to increase the charging current to 5 A.

Unlike many other smartphones with a powerful battery, the Blackview P10000 Pro also boasts not the weakest mid-class mobile processor, which is the eight-core MediaTek Helio P23. The latter combines good performance and energy efficiency.

It is worth noting that despite its brutal appearance, the P10000 Pro is not a secure smartphone, which is worth considering when choosing. But it has two dual cameras based on Sony sensors with “honest” megapixels without the notorious interpolation, which the Chinese often do not disdain to inflate characteristics.

Another smartphone with a particularly powerful battery from the same manufacturer, this time shockproof and waterproof, a real “all-terrain” unit, ready for any challenge. The BV9500 Pro modification is distinguished by the presence of a built-in “all-wave” radio and a large amount of RAM and internal memory.

Main characteristics

  • Battery capacity: 10,000 mAh
  • Fast charging: Yes (24W = 12V * 2A)
  • Dimensions: 162.0 x 81.1 x 13.4 mm
  • Weight: 254 g
  • Platform: MediaTek Helio P23 (MT6763T)
  • Memory: BV9500 – 4 Gb RAM + 64 Gb Flash, BV9500 Pro – 6 Gb RAM + 128 Gb Flash
  • Screen: 5.7 inches, 2160 x 1080, IPS
  • Cameras: main 16.0 Mp + 16.0 Mp, front 13.0 Mp
  • NFC: Yes
  • operating system: Android 8.1 Oreo
  • Protection: IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810G
  • Release date: August 2018
  • Price: BV9500 – $279.99, BV9500 Pro – $313.99

Blackview BV9500 and BV9500 Pro were created with an eye on lovers of an active lifestyle, hiking and long journeys, for which high autonomy is no less important than compliance with international standards IP68, IP69K and military MIL-STD-810G. In addition, they can be used to recharge other devices such as Powerbank.

Unlike the P10000 Pro, it uses a 24-watt adapter with a voltage of 12 V and a current of 2 A for fast charging. It takes about 3.5 hours to fully charge the BV9500's 10,000 mAh battery when using it. There is even support for wireless charging, but this option is present more for show (because it is slow, up to 13 hours).

Tests carried out by specialists have shown that with constantly active mobile internet 4G and GPS enabled with Blackview BV9500 you can walk through swamps and forests for at least a couple of days. With the energy saving mode activated, this time can easily be extended to 4-5 days, if you do not load your smartphone with games and watching videos.

An option for those who need a long-lasting mobile phone that is at least vaguely similar to a regular smartphone, and not a component of special forces equipment. However, due to the presence of a 12,000 mAh battery, the Doogee BL12000 Pro is neither slim nor light weight.

Main characteristics

  • Battery capacity: 12,000 mAh
  • Fast charging: Yes (36W = 12V * 3A)
  • Dimensions: 74.7 x 162.0 x 14.0 mm
  • Weight: 322 g
  • Platform: MediaTek Helio P23 (MT6763T)
  • Memory: 6 Gb RAM + 64/128 Gb Flash
  • Screen: 6.0 inches, 2160 x 1080, IPS
  • Cameras
  • NFC: No
  • operating system: Android 7.0 Nougat
  • Protection: No
  • Release date: announced in December 2017, on sale since early 2018
  • Price: $239.99

The original powerful 36-watt charger included in the BL12000 Pro package replenishes the smartphone’s battery charge from 0 to 100% in 3-3.5 hours. According to tests, the start occurs at 5 V and 1 A, then it accelerates to 9 V and 2 A, at the peak the power can rise to 12 V and 3 A, charging is completed at the same 5 V and 1 A.

This approach is implemented to prevent possible overheating of the Doogee BL12000 Pro. As the sad example showed Samsung Galaxy Note 7, an overheated battery in the cramped body of a modern smartphone can explode and threaten the safety of others.

As practical tests have shown, the BL12000 Pro can continuously play FullHD video from YouTube over a 4G LTE network for 15 hours at maximum screen backlight brightness, and an hour of play at maximum settings consumes about 5% of the battery charge.

Separately, it is worth noting the quite good main and front cameras of the Doogee BL12000 Pro, which significantly surpass in their characteristics the two previous devices from BlackView. The main one includes a pair of modules with a resolution of 16.0 Mp and 13.0 Mp, an f/2.0 aperture and phase detection autofocus.

Even more interesting is the front camera, which is equipped with two modules. The first has a resolution of 8.0 Mp and a viewing angle of 130 degrees, the second - 16.0 Mp and 88 degrees. In fact, the front camera of the BL12000 Pro has a 2x zoom and supports a special “wide” group “selfie” mode.

The smartphone with the most powerful battery in our review today: as much as 16,000 mAh. By the way, this is six times (!) more than the new Apple iPhone XS. And if the latter can easily last one day without recharging, then the Energizer Power Max P16K Pro will easily last a week if it is not heavily loaded with resource-intensive tasks.

Main characteristics

  • Battery capacity: 16,000 mAh
  • Fast charging: Yes (36W = 12V * 3A)
  • Dimensions: 164.2 x 79.4 x 15.2 mm
  • Weight: 350 g
  • Platform: MediaTek Helio P25 (MT6757T)
  • Memory: 6 Gb RAM + 128 Gb Flash
  • Screen: 5.99 inches, 2160 x 1080, IPS
  • Cameras: main 16.0 Mp + 13.0 Mp, front 13.0 + 5.0 Mp
  • NFC: no data
  • operating system: Android 8.0 Oreo
  • Protection: No
  • Release date: announced at the end of February 2018
  • Price: expected

There is, however, one important “but”: despite the fact that Energizer demonstrated the Power Max P16K Pro at the end of February 2018 during international exhibition WMC 2018 in Barcelona, sales of this very promising device are still delayed, and its parameters are not yet fully known.

For example, data on smartphone sizes on different sites argue with each other. Those who saw it at WMC 2018 say that it is based on the MediaTek Helio P25 chipset. However, the Energizer Power Max P16K Pro card on GSM Arena lists Helio P23, like the three previous devices from Blackview and Doogee.

The authors of a number of online publications concluded that in February we were shown only a prototype of the Power Max P16K Pro, which does not yet correspond to the declared characteristics and, moreover, may simply be a dummy made on a 3D printer into which the insides of a regular smartphone were inserted.

Option for the budget conscious. In terms of its technical characteristics, the HomTom HT70 corresponds to the level of budget smartphones, but has a 10,000 mAh battery and is positioned as the thinnest mobile phone with such a powerful battery (although still almost one and a half centimeters).

Main characteristics

  • Battery capacity: 10,000 mAh
  • Fast charging: Yes (27W = 9V * 3A)
  • Dimensions: 165.5 x 77.0 x 14.5 mm
  • Weight: 305 g
  • Platform: MediaTek MT6750T
  • Memory: 4 Gb RAM + 64 Gb Flash
  • Screen: 6.0 inches, 720 x 1440, IPS
  • Cameras: main 16.0 Mp + 13.0 Mp, front 16.0 + 8.0 Mp
  • NFC: No
  • operating system: Android 7.0 Nougat
  • Protection: No
  • Release date: March-April 2018
  • Price: $169.99

Surprisingly, there are no sane reviews of such an interesting device on the Internet, including more or less detailed tests of autonomy, although almost all specialized online publications managed to write about it. According to HomTom promotional materials, the HT70 is capable of:

  • 1200 hours standby time
  • 63 hours talk time
  • 37 hours of MP3 music playback
  • 36 hours of continuous Web surfing
  • 19 hours of video viewing in MP4 format (without specifying resolution or specific codec)
  • 15 hours of gameplay

Interesting data about HomTom HT70 is provided by members of the 4pda forum. Their smartphone charging tests indicate a real battery capacity of 6120 mAh instead of the stated 10,000, and disassembly shows that it is also a “sandwich” of two halves.

According to reviews from owners (again, data from the 4pda forum), the HT70 can easily withstand 3 days without recharging, provided it is used at medium intensity. Fully charge the battery with complete zero to 100% takes from 3.5 to 4 hours, which is quite similar to the truth. However, it can get very hot when charging quickly.

The cheapest smartphone with a powerful battery (12,000 mAh) that we have encountered. Moreover, it is also removable. It costs less than $90. Often found in online stores in Russia and Ukraine. However, this is where the advantages of this device end, as you can see below.

Main characteristics

  • Battery capacity: 12,000 mAh
  • Fast charging: No
  • Dimensions: 145.0 x 78.0 x 25.0 mm
  • Weight: 320 g
  • Platform: MediaTek MT6572M
  • Memory: 512 Mb RAM + 4 Gb Flash
  • Screen: 4.5 inches, 480 x 854, TN
  • Cameras: main 5.0 Mp (interpolation up to 13.0 Mp), front 0.3 Mp (interpolation up to 2.0 Mp)
  • NFC: No
  • operating system: Android 4.4 KitKat
  • Protection:IP68
  • Release date: no data
  • Price: $86.61

Firstly, the idea with a removable battery was not the best. Due to the “can” with a capacity of 12000 mAh, the total thickness of the case increases to 2.4 cm. So, in the end, the “brick” is still the same. But the kit also includes a spare battery of exactly the same type.

Secondly, obsolete hardware. Either the F605 was designed five years ago, or it was assembled from leftovers, but a 32-bit MediaTek MT6572M, 512 Mb of RAM, a drive with a capacity of only 4 Gb and Android 4.4 KitKat is not even funny by today's standards.

Third. If you think that this is where the shortcomings of the Chinese craft under the proud name of Jeep F605 end, then you are mistaken. The actual battery capacity is only... 6000 mAh. And even without fast charging. And the same GearBest honestly warns about this. In short - don't bother.

A modern, long-lasting smartphone with a powerful battery for the budget-conscious. Yes, it does not have the most powerful processor (MediaTek MT6750T), 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory and a screen with a resolution of only HD+ 720x1440 pixels, but it costs only $169.99 (price tag taken from AliExpress).

Main characteristics

  • Battery capacity: 10,000 mAh
  • Fast charging: Yes (18W = 9V * 2A)
  • Dimensions: 168.0 x 78.0 x 14.5 mm
  • Weight: 302.5 g
  • Platform: MediaTek MT6750T
  • Memory: 2 Gb RAM + 16 Gb Flash
  • Screen: 6.0 inches, 720 x 1440, IPS
  • Cameras: main 13.0 Mp + 2.0 Mp, front 5.0 Mp
  • NFC: No
  • operating system: Android 8.1 Oreo
  • Protection: No
  • Release date: October 2018
  • Price: $169.99

Declared in promotional materials Oukitel K7 Power battery life parameters look more than excellent: as much as 50 days of standby time, 166 hours (almost 7 days) of music playback, 56 hours of talk time and 20 hours of watching online videos on YouTube.

It is possible that all these indicators should be divided by 1.5-2 times, but even in this case, Oukitel K7 Power seems to be quite an interesting option for purchase. In addition, this smartphone has what seems to be a very decent main camera for its class, 13.0 Mp + 2.0 Mp, where the first sensor is Sony IMX214.

Unlike many other smartphones with high-capacity batteries, the K7 Power has a business-like design reminiscent of the high-end mobile phones of the once popular Vertu. Even the back cover is supposedly trimmed with Australian calf leather (how is it better than Chinese calf leather?).

A new “non-killer” with a powerful battery, which Oukitel launched on the market in September 2018. As befits secure mobile phones, it looks brutal. You immediately understand that this is not another iPhone for hipsters and “glamorous kitties”, but a smartphone for serious people and serious tasks.

Main characteristics

  • Battery capacity: 10,000 mAh
  • Fast charging: Yes (18W = 9V * 2A)
  • Dimensions: 176.6 x 85.3 x 16.5 mm
  • Weight: 360 g
  • Platform: MediaTek MT6750T
  • Memory: 4 Gb RAM + 64 Gb Flash
  • Screen
  • Cameras: main 16.0 Mp + 2.0 Mp, front 8.0 Mp
  • NFC: Yes
  • operating system: Android 8.0 Oreo
  • Protection:IP68
  • Release date: September 2018
  • Price: $219.99

The autonomy indicators of Oukitel WP2 declared by the manufacturer are: 28 days in standby mode, 50 hours of talk time, 15 hours of watching FullHD video and 66 hours of playing music in MP3 format. According to the Oukitel website, the WP2 battery capacity is no less than 9850 mAh.

Unfortunately, the device came out recently, so no detailed tests have been carried out on it, just as there is no opportunity to touch it “live” yet. However, for a secure smartphone, the characteristics of the Oukitel WP2 are interesting: there is a rich set of sensors, NFC, and a powerful flashlight with four bright LEDs.

There seems to be a good dual main camera with a resolution of 16.0 Mp + 2.0 Mp and sensors from Samsung. The only more or less serious disadvantage is the lack of a 3.5 mm headphone jack, but in the case of an “all-terrain vehicle”, as a rule, a special long plug is already required.

The Oukitel K10000 Max smartphone was released in the fall of 2017 and, in a sense, managed to become a classic. On the one hand, there is an impressive 10,000 mAh battery, on the other hand, protection from water and dust according to the IP68 standard and a shock-resistant case with rubber inserts.

Main characteristics

  • Battery capacity: 10,000 mAh
  • Fast charging: Yes (18W = 9V * 2A)
  • Dimensions: 168.8 x 86.5 x 15.9 mm
  • Weight: 337 g
  • Platform: MediaTek MT6753
  • Memory: 3 Gb RAM + 32 Flash
  • Screen: 5.5 inches, 1080 x 1920, IPS
  • Cameras: main 13.0 Mp, front 5.0 Mp
  • NFC: Yes
  • operating system: Android 8.1 Oreo
  • Protection:IP68
  • Release date: September 2017
  • Price: $289.99

Unfortunately, at the moment, Oukitel has already discontinued the K10000 Max model, and it is not easy to find it online at a reasonable price. Thus, on AliExpress the minimum price tag is now $289.99, which is significantly higher than more modern analogues. However, if you are lucky enough to find it for the right price, it’s worth taking.

The Oukitel K10000 Max has become the subject of many reviews that are easy to find online. What interests us in this whole flow of information is autonomy. Thus, the authors of an article on the popular Russian resource IXBT claim that the device withstood 11.5 hours of gaming at maximum settings in Epic Citadel.

In principle, if the smartphone is not constantly loaded with resource-intensive applications, then it will last 3-4 days without recharging. By modern standards, it has a rather weak processor (MediaTek MT6753), but this, on the contrary, has a rather positive effect on energy consumption.

This device was released in the summer of 2018 and has already become the subject of numerous tests and reviews. Ulefone Power 5 boasts one of the most powerful batteries in our review today, with a capacity of 13,000 mAh. Only Energizer Power Max P16K Pro has more, but it is not yet on sale.

Main characteristics

  • Battery capacity: 13,000 mAh
  • Fast charging: Yes (25W = 5V * 5A)
  • Dimensions: 169.4 x 80.2 x 15.8 mm
  • Weight: 330 g
  • Platform: MediaTek Helio P23 (MT6763)
  • Memory: 6 Gb RAM + 64 Gb Flash
  • Screen: 6.0 inches, 1080 x 2160, IPS
  • Cameras: main 21.0 Mp + 5.0 Mp, front 13.0 Mp + 5.0 Mp
  • NFC: No
  • operating system: Android 8.1 Oreo
  • Protection: No
  • Release date: June 2018
  • Price: $259.99

It’s clear that the new Power 5 from Ulefone is a “brick”, weighing as much as 330 g and the thickness of the case is 15.8 mm, but with such a battery it should demonstrate excellent autonomy. And tests carried out by specialists show that “yes”!
