If the computer is unsuccessfully restarted, bookmarks may fly off and completely disappear from the browser. Don't despair - they are very easy to restore. To do this, open your browser and go to the “Bookmarks” menu. There you will see the option “Display all bookmarks”. Click on it with the left mouse button. How to use and configure?

Each tab has a mini-settings panel. To display it, move the cursor to the upper right corner of the bookmark.
Button meaning:
“lock” - can take two positions: closed - access to the bookmark settings is blocked; open - unlocked.
“cross” - remove the bookmark (completely remove the block from the panel).
Note. Before removal, the addon makes an additional request to activate the command.
“gear” - changing the site address in the bookmark block. Just as when adding a new site, you can enter the domain name yourself or select a bookmark from the catalog.
If you need to change the general settings of the addon, accordingly, click the “Settings” link located next to the “Add ...” option.
A column of settings will open on the right side of the tab, which can be disabled or changed if necessary.
- “Quantity”: if you want to see more bookmarks in the panel (increase their number), move this slider to the right so that the window at the top displays required quantity bookmarks (for example, 20).
- “Bookmark view”: options for displaying bookmarks (change of design).

Additional addon options include support for the Zen news service. It is built into Yandex Browser, but Firefox is available only after installing “Visual Bookmarks”.
To activate news feed, in the “Yandex.Zen” block (under the bookmarks block), click the “Enable” button.

Sources are cataloged by topic (Technology and Science, News, Entertainment, etc.).

In the settings window that appears, go down the page and find the “User Profiles” section, then the “Transfer bookmarks and settings from another browser” button.
After clicking on it, an additional window appears where you can select a browser. From here you will export settings and pages, as well as the content that needs to be transferred. After selecting all the necessary settings, click the “Transfer” button. After this operation, all your favorite and useful bookmarks will become available in one browser. In a similar way, you can import the information you need.
There is another way to export information from an html file. To do this, with an empty browser tab open, you will need to click the “All bookmarks” button, which is located under the Visual tiles. In the window that appears with a list of all pages, you should find the “Arrange” button (with a triangular arrow on the right). When you click, a context menu appears where you need the item “Copy bookmarks from HTML file...”. Next, an Explorer window opens, where you can select a folder and specify the location of the file from which you are going to export the information.
How to delete or restore visual bookmarks in Yandex
There comes a time when the stored information becomes very large number. Some of it is already outdated and of no value. You can always delete accumulated links and sites, cleaning the storage and freeing up space for other new necessary information. If you were in a hurry and deleted something you didn’t want, you can put the information back in its place. To delete and restore Yandex Visual Bookmarks, use several methods.
- You can remove bookmarks if, when opening a new empty tab, click the “Settings” button, under the images of Visual Tabs, and then click on the cross (upper right corner) to delete unnecessary ones.
- Right-click in the application area next to the address (search) bar and in the context menu that appears, select the “Bookmarks Manager” item, where data about all the pages you have saved is stored. You can organize the list with them according to the parameters convenient for you. When you right-click on any of the list elements, a context menu appears where you need to select “Delete” if you no longer need the selected line.
- If you accidentally deleted the wrong list item, you need to return the bookmarks by performing the operation back. To do this, right-click again and select “Cancel deletion” in the context menu that appears, which will restore the page by canceling the last deletion command in the task manager.
