Important! It takes 12 to 24 hours to dry completely, although the work of art will be securely held and secured from the moment it touches the wall. No further action will be required from you: the problem of how to hang a picture on the wall without nails will be solved.

Method number 2. Double sided tape

You can securely and safely fix the selected decorative item using double-sided acrylic foam tape:

Glue strips of tape to the back of the picture.

Important! 1 square centimeter of tape can withstand a load of up to 4 kg, so use required quantity material.

Remove the protective covering from the outside of the tape strip.
Press the painting firmly against the wall in the designated location.
Leave the painting to fully set for 72 hours.

Important! The disadvantage of liquid nails and double-sided tape is that dismantling is problematic. If you suddenly want to move the painting to another place or you need to remove it from the wall, then no matter how delicately you “tear” the work of art from the wall, there will still be noticeable traces of glue or areas with a removed layer of wallpaper or paint on it.

Method No. 3. Cork plug

This method is more gentle on the wall. Use a wine cork and a small nail as follows:

Cut a strip of 0.5-1 cm thick from the wine cork.
Attach a piece of cork to the wall using glue in the right place.
Insert a small nail into the attached piece of cork. It will easily enter the porous surface and be securely fixed in it.
Hang the picture on a nail.

Important! If the reproduction is quite heavy, then secure it with 2 or 3 pieces of cork.

Method number 4. Paper clip, clothes hook

You can use clothes hooks, paper clips and the already mentioned liquid nails to fix an artistic photo in a frame or watercolor painting. Glue a small hook with glue, the structure will be unnoticeable, and when dismantling, the damage to the wall will be minimal.

You can do the following:

At the selected location, use a pencil to mark the length of the paperclip or hook.
Make a cut and another one perpendicular to it in the middle (to make a cross).
Gently push the edges apart.
Use a knife to create a void between the wall and the wallpaper.
Fill the void with a small amount of glue.
Insert a hook or modified paperclip (bend one side at a 90-degree angle).
Return the edges of the wallpaper to their place.
After 10 minutes, press the fruit of your labor with your fingers.
Once dry (about 24 hours), hang the painting.

Important! You can make any suitable metal product in the form of a hook yourself and secure it in the manner described.

Method No. 5. Rails and nylon threads

This is a rather interesting system, which consists of nylon threads and rails. You can use an old cornice or purchase the rail separately. Tie nylon threads of the required length to the movable hooks located inside the rails. Attach a convenient device to the ends of the thread, which will hold the intended objects of art.

Important! The advantages of this design include the ability to increase or decrease the number of paintings in a row, and you can also change their height. This method is best used when you want to hang not just 1, but several paintings.

Method number 6. Spider hook

Despite its size, the spider hook can withstand up to 2 kilograms of weight. It is sold at any construction or hardware store. To use it to hang a picture on the wall without nails, nail the device in the right place and fix the desired object on it.

Important! Once removed, such a hook will not leave significant holes on the wall or wallpaper. The marks left by this device can be easily smoothed out with your fingers. Thus, using a spider hook you will not cause virtually any damage to the wall or wallpaper.

Method No. 7. Picture board

This method is suitable for those who plan to post several paintings or photos demonstrating a cycle or sequence of something. Such works of art will look good on vertical or horizontal boards. Contrasting colors with respect to the general atmosphere for painting the prepared board will help make the plot more expressive or focus the entire interior on it.

Important! It is better to place the device at a distance of 7 or more centimeters from the wall. The board is fastened with brackets from below or from above.

Method No. 8. Decorative tape

This non-standard solution is suitable for aesthetes. Use any satin ribbon of your choice, fold it in half and secure it to the wall with a wide head nail. To attach the picture to the ribbons, attach 2 hooks to the frame.

Important! Select the length of the ribbon depending on how many paintings will participate in the composition.
