Raisins – half a glass

Oranges – 2, preferably sour

Garlic – 5-6 cloves

Cooking method

Prepare a marinade from mayonnaise, juice and zest of one orange, passed through a garlic press. No need to salt it!

Marinate the cooked drumsticks for a couple of hours in the refrigerator.

Rinse the raisins and, if necessary, soak for 10 minutes in cool water.

Cut apples and pears into slices, peel if necessary. Cut the second orange into fairly thin semicircles. Separate a few thin slices from the pineapple and chop the rest into pieces.

Remove the drumsticks from the marinade. Make a deep longitudinal cut on each and insert a slice of pineapple there.

Mix the fruits and raisins, place them in a mold and lightly pour over the marinade. Place drumsticks with pineapple pieces on top.

Bake first for 30 minutes at 160 degrees, and then increase the temperature to 190.

Recipe No. 4. Chicken drumsticks in the oven stuffed with mushrooms

This recipe for chicken drumsticks in the oven cannot be called quick and easy, but the dish looks very impressive and is eaten with pleasure.

Ingredients

Large chicken drumsticks – 1.5 kg

Champignons – 400 g

Cheese – 200 g

Eggs – 2 pieces

Baking oil

Sour cream or butter for greasing

Garlic, herbs - to taste, or without them.

Cooking method

Make an incision on the shins in the part of the bone that you usually grab with your hand. Carefully remove the skin, being careful not to damage it. Cut the meat from the bone and chop it quite finely with a knife.

Wash and peel the champignons, also chop them with a knife. Grate the cheese. Combine meat, cheese, champignons in a bowl, add two eggs, mix everything thoroughly, add salt. If you really like spices, you can add garlic, oregano, coriander.

Stuff the skin removed from the shins with minced meat, shape it into a leg by inserting a bone inside. Carefully place the “legs” in a greased form, grease with sour cream or butter and bake at 170 degrees, if necessary, increasing the temperature to 200 at the end of cooking (if the legs do not brown at all).

Recipe No. 5. Chicken drumsticks in the oven in dough

This recipe for chicken drumsticks in the oven is suitable for both a holiday lunch and a family dinner, tasty and unusual.

Ingredients

Chicken drumsticks – 1 kg

Sour cream – 150 g

Garlic – 3-4 cloves

Cheese – 100 g

Boiled-smoked ham - several slices according to the number of drumsticks

Puff pastry – 1 package purchased

Cooking method

Marinate the drumsticks in sour cream with garlic squeezed into it for a couple of hours.

Make a cut lengthwise on each drumstick, open the meat and remove the bone. Lightly beat the meat, opening it with a “patty”.

Grate the cheese. Pour cheese into each “flatbread”, put a thin slice of ham, then a bone from which the meat and skin have been peeled. Wrap the leg so that it looks whole. Screw a strip of foil onto the free end of the bone.

Thaw the puff pastry and cut into strips. Screw these strips onto the legs. Place the legs on a baking sheet, lightly greased with oil and bake in the oven first (20 minutes) at 160 degrees, and then increase the temperature to 180.

Vegetables would be a good side dish for these legs, and if we are talking about a festive dinner, then it makes sense to serve them with pickled plums or pears.

Recipe No. 6. Spiced chicken drumsticks in the oven with capers

This option for cooking chicken drumsticks in the oven also involves getting ready-made dish, already with a side dish.

Ingredients

Chicken drumsticks – 1 kg

Champignons – 500 g

Green beans - 400 g

Pickled cucumbers - 4-5 pieces

Capers - 2 tablespoons

Grated Parmesan - 3-4 tablespoons

Breadcrumbs - 2-3 tablespoons

Baking oil

Cooking method

Wash the chicken drumsticks and marinate for a couple of hours in a small amount of mayonnaise. You can add lemon juice.

Place the drumsticks in a frying pan with hot oil, fry on all sides, then cover with a lid, reduce the heat and simmer until half cooked.

Remove the drumsticks to a plate and place in the pan green beans and put it out. Also remove it to a plate, and place the champignons, cut into quarters, into the frying pan.

Chop the pickled cucumbers with a knife, capers too if they are large.

Fry breadcrumbs in a frying pan, mix them with mushrooms, beans, cucumber and capers and place everything in a baking dish. Stick the drumsticks into the side dish, bone side up.

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

While the dish is still hot, sprinkle with grated Parmesan.

Recipe No. 7 Chicken drumsticks in the oven with bacon

A simple but delicious way to cook chicken drumsticks in the oven. Perfect as a snack for beer fans.

Ingredients

Chicken drumsticks – 1 kg

Raw smoked bacon - 200 g

Hard cheese— 200 g

Any mustard, grainy if possible - 4 tablespoons

Mayonnaise - 4 tablespoons

Dried spicy herbs to taste

Cooking method

Mix mustard with mayonnaise and marinate chicken drumsticks in this mixture, preferably overnight.

Cut the cheese into cubes, bacon into strips.

Remove the drumsticks from the marinade, make a longitudinal cut down to the bone and place a block of cheese inside. Wrap the drumsticks in a strip of bacon, securing the strip if necessary with a wooden skewer soaked in water for several hours.

Place the drumsticks on a baking sheet, brush with the remaining marinade, cover with herbs and bake at 160 degrees. If the drumsticks are not browned, increase the temperature to 200 and bake for another 7 minutes.

Recipe No. 8. Chicken drumsticks in the oven with cabbage

Ingredients

Chicken drumsticks – 1 kg

Fresh cabbage - 0.5 kg

Sauerkraut – 0.5 kg

Raw smoked brisket or similar meat with fat - 200 g

Tomatoes - 4-5 pieces

Onion - 1 onion

Tomato paste if necessary - 2-3 tablespoons

Cooking method

Peel the tomatoes and finely chop with a knife. Marinate drumsticks in tomatoes.

Chop fresh cabbage and mix it with sauerkraut.

Cut the brisket into small pieces and fry it in a saucepan, rendering the fat.

Remove the pieces of meat and simmer the cabbage in the rendered fat until half cooked.

Remove the drumsticks from the tomato pulp, place in another frying pan and fry until half cooked.

Place in a baking dish stewed cabbage, into which stir in the fried brisket and tomato pulp. If you don't like the color of the cabbage, stir in 3 tablespoons tomato paste. Place drumsticks on top.

Bake at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Chicken drumsticks in the oven - subtleties and useful tips

  • Drumsticks are a great appetizer for beer or vodka. But they don’t always go well with wine. Perhaps if you are planning a formal dinner with wine, you should prepare something different.
  • The drumstick meat is quite juicy in itself, so you shouldn’t get carried away with fatty additives. It's better to serve them with something spicy.
  • In principle, you don’t have to marinate the drumsticks if you don’t have time, but just rub them with salt, herbs or garlic.
  • You can make cuts in the skin and insert pieces of garlic there so that some of it sticks out. It will turn out funny - it looks like a hedgehog.
  • To make it more convenient to pick up the drumstick, the end of the bone can be wrapped in foil in advance.
  • If you want to cook drumsticks in dough, but you couldn’t buy puff pastry, you can cook regular dough on sour cream or kefir. A glass for this liquid sour cream or kefir should be mixed with egg and flour to form a soft dough that can be used to wrap the leg. Sometimes pieces of cheese, ham, and pickled cucumber are sometimes placed in such a “bag” of dough.
