Rest in the Saki region of Crimea: Saki, Novofedorovka, Pribrezhnoye, Frunze. Is it worth going to Novofedorovka

Novofedorovka is a wonderful resort village located on the shore of Kalamitsky Bay at the mouth of the Black Sea.

Chic climatic conditions, the warm and gentle Black Sea, it is this combination that contributes to the fact that more and more vacationers visit Novofedorovka from year to year.

In a long time, the village was a closed area; an aviation garrison for long-distance aircraft was located here. By the way, the airfield of the former flight unit is still used to this day. As a reminder of the military strategic purpose of the airfield, all that remains is that it was once unique, the only one of its kind in the entire territory former USSR, a ground-based test aviation complex for training and training carrier-based aviation pilots.

But what was previously available only to the military is now available to the average vacationer. Where were there before only military barracks, now magnificent boarding houses and private recreation centers have been built, from a former closed military town, the village of Novofedorovka has turned into a magnificent resort village, open to everyone.

Holiday season in the village, as well as along the entire coast Crimean peninsula, begins already at the end of May. And at the beginning of June, boarding houses and recreation centers are almost fully occupied. During our entire stay in Crimea, we vacationed in the village of Novofedorovka twice, and both times in boarding houses. In the first case, in the boarding house “Sea Rainbow”, in the second case, in the boarding house “Kvitka”. To be honest, there is no desire to compare these boarding houses. In the first case, rudeness and ruined vacation, in the second, exactly the opposite.

I don’t want to say that everything is bad at the “Sea Rainbow” boarding house, those who write this are simply slandering things, but in terms of the totality of the positive and negative, the latter outweighs the latter. And the boorish attitude of the boarding house staff simply put an end to it. What did it cost to kick a family of four (two adults and two children) out of their occupied room at 8:00 just because new guests had arrived, even though they had paid for the last one day of stay full price.

But, for the rest, so, little by little, an unpleasant picture emerges.

What we liked so much about the Kvitka boarding house was, first of all, the attention of the administration and staff.

A vacationer doesn’t need much - a place to spend the night, decent comfort at an adequate price and attention, at least minimal. This is the set we are in in full received in the above-mentioned boarding house.

The boarding house is very close sea coast, is separated from the treasured sea only by a small, clean lake. The hotel courtyard is simply pleasing to the eye, an excellent design solution. All laid out beautiful stone, very well-groomed, with a lot of greenery on the territory. Flower beds where magnificently beautiful flowers grow. The middle of the courtyard is crowned with a beautifully crafted fountain.

Lovely, and that's all. Humid air plus the aroma of flowers - you can breathe deeply in the territory.

There is a small bar in the courtyard where you can buy low-alcohol and simple drinks, a variety of juices and some snacks at very affordable prices.

I’ll say right away that we booked a room in the boarding house in advance, since there are always enough people willing to stay in the boarding house. By the way, the administration provides a transfer, the services are not too expensive, quite comparable with a private taxi, even less.

The room was on the second floor with a wonderful terrace and a beautiful view of the sea.

The room is simply huge. The design is made in calm, pastel colors just in time for a wonderful holiday. The rooms are simply wonderfully equipped, all conditions have been created. It is a boarding house for people, taking into account all the essentials. And what I liked most was the ozonizer in the room. There is no need to turn on the air conditioning, the coolness coming from the sea plus that from the lake and from the fountain in the courtyard means no discomfort at night, the summer heat is not felt in the rooms. And of course, constant supply of hot and cold water I couldn't help but rejoice.

Eating anywhere other than in the boarding house dining room was not even considered. A dining room with a decent menu is available for vacationers,

quite digestible set meals.

If you don’t have time to go to the dining room, lunch can be brought directly to your room - an excellent service and also free. Payment for meals is separate from accommodation, payment is due at the end of the day. Children on the territory are not bored; there is an excellent children's playground.

In a word, the boarding house with its service is beyond praise.

As I wrote above, June is the most suitable month for holidays with children. The sea has already warmed up enough and there are not many people on the beach. Although, the huge, many-kilometer beaches of the village can accommodate any number of vacationers.

The Black Sea is always beautiful, and especially in June. Clean, but quite deep. You need to be careful with children. Mostly very sharp changes from shallow to deep. There are, of course, places where there is a more gradual descent to depth, but still the depth is reached very quickly, some two meters and an adult is already waist-deep. The only downside is the constant afternoon storms. Well, it depends on who. It was interesting and fun for us to flounder in the sea during a small storm. So, it is advisable to swim, especially with small children, before lunch. As I wrote above, the beaches are huge.

Sometimes during a big storm, debris and algae wash up on the beach, but this problem is eliminated. The beaches are clean. Of course, no utility workers will be able to keep up with our vacationers who bury cigarette butts and residues in the sand food products. The beaches of the village are sand and pebbles, sometimes coarse pebbles. Services on the beach are paid. There are sun loungers on both sides of the pier and sun umbrellas are provided. The price for “such happiness” is 20 UAH. per day. There is plenty of entertainment on the beach. Starting from the standard set (bananas, inflatable slides, trampolines), ending with something more serious (scooters, parachute flights, and a lot of other things).

And as everywhere else, there are a lot of establishments catering for every taste. In general, a favorite place for vacationers is the pier. All the entertainment and food infrastructure of the resort is located along it and on the embankment itself.

Right there, on the embankment itself, you can join any excursion around Crimea. Lots of excursion bureaus.

Satisfied with the holiday is not the right word, very satisfied. It would probably be better this way.

Novofedorovka on the map of Crimea

Hi all!

When we were looking for information about housing in Crimea, we chose a small hotel in Novofedorovka at a very tempting price. We needed two double rooms, but it so happened that these rooms would only be available on the fourth day of our stay in Crimea, so we stayed in Nikolaevka for the first 4 days.

❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE VILLAGE, INFRASTRUCTURE❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖

The distance between the villages is small, we got there quickly, the driver brought us straight to the hotel.

It’s good that we didn’t have to wait for check-in time, we were accepted right away.

The hotel did not provide meals, so on the first day we had to go in search of cafes and restaurants.

The village is quite large and extended. In addition to private residential buildings, there are five-story buildings, and in general the infrastructure, compared to Nikolaevka, is more developed.

The regional center is the city of Saki (population about 40 thousand people), located 5 kilometers from the village, you can get there quickly by bus.

Active life is concentrated by the sea; from the pier there are shopping pavilions, restaurants, cafes, and there is also a nightclub. It is not far from the pier to the village center, but you can get there by bus. True, the bus is a very old “groove” (it goes to Saki), it’s better to walk. The bus is hot and cramped. I can’t tell you the cost of travel within the village, but a ticket to the city of Saki costs less than 20 rubles.

Also in the center of the village there are quite good shops where you can buy everything you need. One of the shops has an ATM of a local bank, but the commission when withdrawing money from a Sberbank card is very small.

There are also shopping malls with fruits and vegetables here, which is very convenient.

The tourist part of the village is separated from the rest; on one side of the center (closer to the sea) there are hotels, guest houses, restaurants and cafes, and on the other there is a residential area.

There is also a pharmacy in the center.

Along the way you can see some pretty nice houses.

❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖PRICES❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖

It’s worth mentioning separately about prices.

As I mentioned above, the price of bus travel is very low, but the prices for goods are unpleasantly surprising.

  • Medicines - It’s better to take everything you need with you; prices at the pharmacy are quite high even for the simplest medicines
  • Hygiene items- we needed diapers in the last two days, if we bought them here regularly, we could go broke. Washing powder It’s also not very budget-friendly, although it’s the simplest.
  • Food in public catering- prices for food in cafes and restaurants are reasonable, two people could have lunch for 300 rubles, dinner would, of course, cost more, but everything was tasty and fresh. Although prices have risen sharply in the last two days, almost doubling due to the closure of Turkey (2016), tourists have surged into Crimea.

As a rule, we had lunch in this dining room.

Quite nice, cozy and the food is delicious.

  • Products- products are very expensive. What they grow costs more than ours. The cheapest fruit is peaches, costing about 150 rubles per kg. This is still acceptable, but cherries per kg cost 300 rubles, the most plain apples, which our grandmothers sell at the market in the summer for 30-50 rubles/kg. there they cost about 100 rubles. And so on. Products in the store are also not cheap.
  • Entertainment- prices for entertainment are more or less normal. But there is little you can choose from entertainment there: ride a different types transport (Segways, hoverboards, bicycles, bananas, etc. Basically, everything is the same as everywhere else).

Accommodation prices vary, but are quite affordable. For example, in a “Lux” hotel with a swimming pool, a gym and all amenities near the sea, a standard room costs about 2,000 rubles per night during the “hot” season, and cheaper in September.

More modest hotels are therefore cheaper.

Almost all hotels with landscaped areas are mainly private mini-hotels.

In general, there is a lot of housing throughout the village.

❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖SEA, BEACH❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖

First of all, the beach attracts attention. Compared to Nikolaevka, where there is virtually no beach, here it is new, well landscaped, although it is still under reconstruction.

The beach is quite wide (pebble), long, there is enough space for everyone.

The coast is equipped with changing cabins (clean and new) and showers.

It’s comfortable and pleasant to be on the beach, despite the fact that you can find garbage in the pebbles. Some vacationers smoke right by the sea, drink alcohol and immediately litter. It is almost impossible to fight this.

The sea is quite clean if there is no storm.

There is also a fairly long pier on the beach, and lifeguards are on duty nearby. There are sandy places at the beginning of the beach.

Such beaches are not found in every settlement by the sea, so it is worth considering a holiday village for this reason. In general, due to the fact that the beach is wide, there are large crowds of people only near the pier.

There are many small cafes and shopping stalls along the embankment.

Very cozy, nice to sit in the evening next to the sea.

It is worth noting that renting a sunbed here is paid only upon being on the beach, that is, if you go to the hotel, you will have to rent a sunbed again. There is no such thing in Nikolaevka: there you pay in the morning and can use it for as long as you like until lunch.

❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖ENTERTAINMENT❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖

As I already said, it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to have much fun here, but excursions throughout Crimea depart daily from the village, and you can also visit the Banana Republic water park, which is very close.

It is also worth mentioning separately that in Novofedorovka there is training airbase "NITKA", where future pilots are trained to fly military aircraft.

Every day you can watch pilots perform various stunts in the air at low altitude, it’s amazing! Flights do not interfere with rest at all, since they are carried out mainly in daytime and early evening.

The base is located at the entrance to the village; from the bus you can see some planes.

Sometimes tourists are allowed into the base; you can see the insides of airplanes, as well as many other interesting things. Unfortunately, we didn’t get there, it was very hot, the buses were crowded, and we didn’t want to go on foot into the thick of it with the children.

Novofedorovka, NITKA airbase

But right from the beach you could watch the stunts of low-flying planes that day. Very spectacular.

In general, if you want, you won’t be bored.

We lived in the village for 17 days, went to a water park, three times to the city of Saki, my sister went to Yalta.

The rest of the time we were in Novofedorovka.

❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖GENERAL IMPRESSIONS: IS IT WORTH COME AGAIN?❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖

Definitely, I would love to come back here again for... family vacation The village comes in handy. Everything you need is here, nice beach, calm sea. The beach is pebble and there is sand in the sea.

There are quite a lot of hotels to suit every taste; even when you arrive there, you can find accommodation on the spot.

By the way, the shopping arcades by the sea are quite long, you can buy a lot of things: souvenirs, cosmetics, local food and more.

Local brands are widely represented in cosmetics (for example, Manufactory "House of Nature"), the entire range can be purchased here. Prices are normal, but not low.

It was a little surprising that we didn’t see a market in the village (maybe there is one...) or clothing stores.

Delightful Crimea... Having arrived here, you are doomed to eternal love. Bye the mighty of the world this decides the question of his political map, mere mortals are waiting for a vacation to go to the peninsula. Alushta, Evpatoria, Koktebel, New World... Each of the cities is surprisingly good and unique. Each hosts many guests every year. But there are corners of the coast that have not yet been fully explored by tourists. They are distinguished by silence and tranquility. This is their quiet charm. One of such places on the Crimean peninsula is Novofedorovka. This small village is located in the Saki district, 18 kilometers from Yevpatoria.

History of the village

Judging by the modern territory, there was an ancient Greek settlement five centuries BC. To October Revolution Therapeutic mud was delivered from the village to Livadia, intended for the hemophiliac Tsarevich Alexei. Until 1922, this place was not even marked on maps, but already in 1926 it officially became part of the Tuzlynsky village council. Since the 30s. last century, the field airfield of the Kachin Military Pilot School was based here. In 1945, F. Roosevelt and W. Churchill arrived and their planes were accepted by this airfield. Also after the war, Saki-4, an aviation garrison, was founded here. The military town was closed and did not appear on any map. Only in 1992 was an urban settlement established on the territory of the declassified garrison. Novofedorovka. And in 1995, the Novofedorovsky village council appeared.

Location and climate

So, Crimea. Novofedorovka, as already mentioned, is located in the Saki district. This is the western coast of the peninsula. The village is surrounded on three sides by water. It is located on a shore that cuts into the shore at 16 km. Its total area is just over 3 square kilometers. And about 7 thousand people live in this territory.

The coast is protected from the winds, and the water temperature in the bay is comfortable, because it is not subject to cold sea currents. The average temperature in the summer months is +23 degrees, and in winter it stays at -1°C. Those who like to splash around in the gentle sea can open the swimming season as early as May and comfortably extend it until September or even a little later. Crimea, Saki district, Novofedorovka attract vacationers with a mild climate and a large number of sunny days.

Sea and beaches

The sea here is amazingly beautiful, it envelops everything you can reach with your eyes. There are quite a lot of beaches, they stretch along the entire coast. There are a large number of water attractions and opportunities for a pleasant time in the sun. The bottom of the sea is sandy, the approach is gentle, without holes, so there is no need to be afraid for the children. So Crimea is suitable for any tourist. Novofedorovka provides recreation for every taste.

Entertainment and infrastructure

On the Crimean peninsula, Novofedorovka is far from the largest village. It is perfect for families with children, because here you can easily find a quiet and secluded place. Of course, life here is not as vibrant as, for example, in Koktebel. However, in this corner you can find something to your liking. For the active and active, for whom sport is an integral part of life, there is a sports town where you can play volleyball, football or basketball, run in the morning after waking up or in the evening before going to bed. Little vacationers will enjoy the amusement park on the shore and exciting water attractions. And if you wish, you can go to the outskirts of Saki - to the Banana Republic water park. Well, if you want to have a blast, vacationers can enjoy 24-hour cafes and bars, where music often plays all night long. Fans of extreme entertainment can compare themselves to birds and parachute from the sky, discover the secrets of underwater inhabitants and scuba dive to race on go-karts and feel real speed. And when local entertainment gets a little boring, you can always go on an excursion to other cities of the peninsula and explore natural and historical attractions. In general, the infrastructure of the village is quite well developed. There is everything that tourists might need: cozy restaurants with Russian, Ukrainian, European and Oriental cuisine; shops and markets where you can buy all sorts of goodies and some household items if they were forgotten at home. There are also souvenir shops to bring gifts to friends and family from the sunny shore.

Novofedorovka (Crimea) generally receives quite good reviews from vacationers. Guests of the village appreciate the comfort and charm of this corner of the Earth.

Local attractions

Reviews call the most famous attraction in the village of Novofedorovka (Crimea) NITK - an aviation ground test training complex. It has existed since the military past of the town of “Saki-4”. It was the only such complex in the USSR. Aviation equipment such as catapults, emergency barriers, optical and radio landing systems were tested here. At its core, it is an airfield in the shape of a ship's deck with a steel field. By the way, pilot training takes place there even today. Professional performances take place in August.

Also in the village it is worth visiting the Alley of Heroes. It perpetuates the memory of pilots - Heroes of the USSR. Their bronze busts are placed there. In addition, the monument to the Tu-22 crew who died during a combat mission will seem interesting, especially to boys. It is made exactly in the form of this bomber.

There is a museum here open air Kara-Tobe. Based on archaeological excavations The manor of the first century BC was recreated, a Scythian village is being built. There is an exhibition of antiquities from the northwestern part of Crimea. Here you can see ancient coins, household items, finds from necropolises, ceramics, and weapons.

Treatment

As mentioned above, Novofedorovka is practically surrounded by water. Only the eastern part remains free. And if in the west there are the waters of the Kalamitsky Bay, then in the north there is Lake Saki, and in the south there is Kyzyl-Yar. Both of these bodies of water are classified as salt lakes. There are also a number of fresh ones. The high mineralization of water bodies makes the air in the village almost healing. There are several deposits of medicinal mud on the peninsula, but Saki is perhaps the most famous. That’s why Saki (Crimea), Novofedorovka and nearby villages attract tourists who want to improve their body a little.

Housing

Due to the fact that the village was a closed military town for a long time, tourism business It began to develop here relatively recently. But despite this, vacationers can be picky. There will be no problems finding a house, apartment or room. Fortunately, in any part of the village on the street you can find an advertisement for housing for rent. However, there are quite enough recreation centers here. In the fight for clients, they provide a wide range of services.
