Everyone loved to draw as a child. Another question: how did it work out? Children draw everything that surrounds them: mom, dad, sky, sun, trees, cars, people, themselves.

At kindergarten age the level of drawing is one, at school it is already another. Whatever the drawing lessons, you can’t teach everyone to draw correctly and beautifully.

Moreover, not every artist is capable of drawing portraits. But teachers, developing methods for raising children and teaching them to draw, found a way to teach a child to draw portraits. This was done for reasons of convenience for children. younger age. They are not only interested in drawing a picture, but also in making it so that they can give it to their mother. This technique is used by many today educational institutions and private practices, where teach step-by-step creativity.

DIY mom portrait

Try giving your baby a gift to a loved one. This question arises very urgently for a child when a holiday approaches. Little artists do not always need to see the object of drawing in front of them, since children always draw from their memory.

In this case, it would be more correct to draw a portrait with a photograph in front of you. This will make it easier to conduct a master class with your child. After all, photography is what we will start from.

It will be much easier for a novice artist to draw a portrait of his mother with his own hands if a sheet of paper divide into squares vertical and horizontal lines. IN art schools They also teach this method. Next, checking the photograph, we draw a separate element in each square. At the same time, we explain all the steps in detail to the child. Only then will he understand how to do it.

The simplest and easiest option children's drawing You can call it mom's painting with paints. Most children, having become acquainted with paints, begin to do all their work only with them. This can be used to advantage for learning. So, for example, a child is able to draw a beautiful image of his mother if you explain to him An easier way to do this:

A self-painted portrait of your mother will be given a sparkle of life. blush on the cheeks.

Such step by step drawing Can be done by both adults and children. There are no identical paintings; all portraits of mothers made by children are individual and diverse. The only thing they all have in common is the drawing technique.

For work you will need: paper, a simple pencil, an eraser, a sharpener and a photograph of your mother. It is easier for a novice artist to start with pencil drawings: firstly, incorrectly drawn lines are erased with an eraser; secondly, it is easier to convey the shadows of hair or face in a pencil painting than with paints.

Step by step option will give your child skills that he can use in the future when drawing people. Plus, you can always check the photograph to determine the various parameters of the person being copied.

Finally with a pencil trace all the lines, creating shadows. We erase the extra vertical and horizontal lines. By outlining the nose, lips, mouth, eyes and shading the darkened areas in the photograph, we will bring the drawing to life. Hair is released according to the same principle.

The next step, if necessary, will be to color the picture created by the child with paints or felt-tip pens.

How to prepare your child to draw people

Starting to teach your child portrait drawing, I need to talk to him. You can also talk in the process of preparing for him to paint a portrait of his mother. The main thing he should take away from this conversation is:

  • what shape is her face, ears, eyes;
  • eye, lip and hair color;
  • what length of hair and what hairstyle;
  • symmetry of the location of the nose, eyes, and ears;
  • the principle of drawing people is always the same

Knowing how to hold a pencil in his hands and use paints, the newly minted artist with each new creation will develop his abilities. His children's paintings will become a real hobby for him, and maybe more.

Congratulating your mother, this dear, beloved, close to your heart person, you really want to make a special impression on her by giving her something special, non-standard and unlike anything else. For example, a “homemade creation,” such as a painting, postcard, or photo collage made by yourself. At the same time, these “torments” are accompanied by small doubts: how to draw a gift for mom in such a way that this congratulation looks beautiful, original and does not turn into a mediocre and cheap caricature?

Despite all the apparent complexity of this process, as it may seem to people far from art, this task is quite doable if you approach it with patience and desire. The main thing is to clearly follow your goal, step by step following the instructions of professionals, thanks to which your “work of art” will definitely turn out interesting and effective.

Choosing materials for work

First you need to decide on the composition of the materials you will work with. You can draw on anything: paper, glass, fabric, ceramics, etc. However, if you do not have the relevant experience, it is better not to experiment and prefer paper or cardboard. The paper for a future painting or postcard should have a dense structure and a good, even white color. No less a good option– white cardboard. As for the format, it is most convenient to use A4 sheets, which, if desired, can be folded in half if you plan to make a greeting card.

Direct “tools of labor” can also be anything. A drawing for mom can be depicted using acrylic, watercolor, oil paints, gouaches, felt-tip pens, pencils and other “tools” for creativity. Choose from them those that you know how to handle best.

Stock up on good things in advance with a simple pencil and an eraser to create the outline of the drawing. The best pencils for this purpose are TM brand pencils, the lead of which has an optimal consistency.

Thinking through the concept of the future film

Having decided on the “field of activity”, you can begin to perform the main task: developing the plot of the future work of art. You can be sure that any of your “creative quests” will please your mother, but in order for her to be truly proud of you, you should try and show the maximum of your creativity and imagination.

When developing the concept of a drawing, you can take as a basis the reason for which it will be awarded. That is, if you are preparing a holiday card for your mother for New Year, then its design should correspond to the theme of this holiday. In this case, it would be more appropriate if it depicts the constant New Year’s attributes: snowflakes, fir branches, as well as favorites fairy tale characters, such as Father Frost and Snow Maiden, etc.

If the reason for creating your creative work was March 8, then the picture can depict spring flowers, birds, etc.

If you have difficulty creating a suitable plot, you can use ready-made options, borrowing them from postcards and magazines. The main thing is not to forget that this congratulation is addressed to your mother, so take into account her personal tastes and preferences when creating it.

In order to check how your chosen composition will look, you can draw it on a small sheet of paper, after which it can be applied to the prepared base.

Let's start drawing

After you have finally decided on what will be depicted in the future painting and have made a preliminary sketch of it on a draft, you can move on to the next stage: creating a sketch. To do this, you can use the same simple pencil, but you should work with it as carefully as possible, without putting too much pressure on the paper, otherwise unsightly dents will remain on it. If errors appear, you can correct them using an eraser, not forgetting to remove the resulting “pellets” from the sheet in order to avoid the appearance of mud stains on the future painting.

If your artistic experience leaves much to be desired, it is better to draw the main figures of the future painting in stages. Detailed recommendations on this matter can be found on the Internet. For example, you can draw daisy flowers as follows:

After the sketch is drawn, we begin the process of painting and decorating the drawing. In order to obtain an optimal result, the following points must be taken into account:

    • To make the drawing more expressive along the contour, you can outline it with a black gel pen or felt-tip pen. The next work, that is, painting itself, must be started after waiting until the outline is thoroughly dry, so as not to smudge it.
    • If you decide to use colored pencils to create a future painting, keep in mind that all dash lines created with their help must have the same direction.
    • If you are working with paints, rinse your brush as often as possible to maintain the purity and richness of the shades used in your work. Be sure to let them dry thoroughly so that the applied image does not spread on the paper.
    • To decorate “your masterpiece” you can use various decorative elements: glitter, adhesive-based pictures, ornaments, etc., which can be purchased at specialized art stores. In addition, if desired, a picture or postcard can be supplemented with a congratulatory inscription, for the application of which you can use a stencil purchased in a store or made independently. This is necessary so that the text added to the drawing looks harmonious and does not disturb its overall composition.

Good day or night (if you're a night owl like me) everyone! Welcome to Tatyana Sukhikh. Let's talk about drawing a portrait and fine arts V preschool age? Drawing is an integral part of a whole range of developmental activities for preschoolers. This is the most favorite type of creativity for almost all children. Having drawn the first curve on a piece of paper, the baby feels like the king of the world.

It turns out that with a pencil you can create your own creation, anything you want! Starting with the simplest lines, blots and specks, the child gradually masters one of the most difficult tasks - drawing a portrait of a person.

According to my observations, children middle group they can already draw an image more or less similar to a person’s face. Younger children find it difficult to understand proportions - it is difficult for them to plan a drawing on an entire sheet of paper; they are more prone to landscapes and illustrations, small details and greater schematics. But no one forbids three-year-olds to draw mom and dad; let the child try if he wants!

I am sure that anyone can be taught to draw well. There are tutorials for this, even video tutorials. True, literally every line is explained where to draw, everything is very accessible, if you wish. There is a certain technique, having mastered which, you can comprehend the wisdom of depicting any objects or living beings with paints or pencils.

Thus, the online store “Book. ru" sells a wonderful guide: "Drawing Lessons for Beginners. Fun and effective” – here are step-by-step instructions that will allow you to learn how to draw whatever your heart desires with a pencil. The book was written by professional artists, so it’s worth taking a closer look at it if you want to learn how to draw beautifully. The benefit is suitable for people of any age. It's never too late to master graphics skills!

"UchMag" offers materials for creativity, for example, I can recommend an excellent set for young artists . It includes 28 items: paints, markers, pencils, crayons, pastels and a brush. As the manufacturer points out, pencils and crayons sharpen well, which is important. Sometimes you come across pencils that are impossible to sharpen! A great option as a gift for a child for any occasion.

Convenient set of pencils in a tube - "Spongebob" with sharpener included. Perfect for use at home, in kindergarten, at school. The colors are popular and bright. Plus – it’s inexpensive, although the tube itself is metal, but the price is quite affordable.

I'm telling my son "OZON.RU" I bought a cool thing - a combination board. It is rough on one side and smooth on the other. You can draw with chalk and special markers. Chalk and marker included. It is convenient for us to do our homework on this board, especially to work through the rules of the Russian language and examples in mathematics. Wrote - erased, no need to fill up notebooks.

I also found a serious textbook on Ozone from the eminent teacher Giovanni Civardi "Drawing. Complete Guide» . This book is intended for those who seriously study drawing, as well as for artists. The author offers methods for mastering the technique of drawing with charcoal, pencil, and ink. Step-by-step training gives everyone who loves to draw the opportunity to master the technique of depicting people, objects, animals, as well as landscapes and still lifes.

Period, period, comma...

Many parents who want to comprehensively develop their children have a question: do they need to be specially taught to draw or should the child himself master the technique of depicting objects and living beings on paper? Like, if there is talent, the child will learn on his own. What is your opinion friends? Will talent manifest itself or does it need to be revealed?

From my own experience, I will say this: there are children who easily learn to draw - they just have to show them the techniques and methods, and they can draw perfectly themselves. And there are children who find it difficult to understand the wisdom of drawing. It is worth understanding one thing: if there is a desire, then a certain skill can be achieved even without obvious talent.

World history knows little about such children who, without any training, suddenly become artists, poets, musicians. So show your children the simplest drawing techniques different materials, but let the child choose the color combination, composition, plot himself.

So, how to teach drawing to children? Take, for example, a portrait - this is an obligatory stage in the education of students kindergarten. And who does a child know better than himself? Whose face does he remember in great detail? Of course, moms. Therefore, we begin to learn how to portray people by trying to “write” a portrait of our mother like real artists! Drawing takes place in several steps.

In principle, the technique is not complicated, it is important to simply learn how to depict a person’s face step by step.

I adhere to this methodology: I always conduct an introductory conversation about painting, show portraits of people famous artists. It is necessary to emphasize that the portrait can be up to the chest, in full height, waist-deep, and also in different positions bodies. Children must learn how a portrait differs from other genres of fine art.

Then it is important to choose expressive images of women, if you plan to draw a mother, that will inspire the children. We look at them, name the parts of the face, determine where the nose, mouth, eyes, eyebrows are located. It is better to choose photographs or drawings of women with different hairstyles so that children can find similar hairstyles like their mothers. It is imperative that the children name what color their mother’s hair and eyes are, remember and imagine her appearance.

Drawing mom step by step

Here in front of us is a sheet of A-4 format. At this stage you need to show the children how to start drawing. First, we draw an oval (we also attach a sheet of paper to the board and also draw an oval). It is important that all children succeed in doing this, otherwise it will be difficult to continue. Some children have difficulty with large images.

They can draw a small oval in the corner of the sheet, or even draw some kind of arc instead of an oval. Help them, next time the baby will be able to draw the outline of the head on his own.

Then in the middle of the oval we draw a nose in the form of a leg from the number 2 or just a horizontal wavy one short line. Some teachers suggest drawing the hair first, then the eyes, then the eyebrows, nose, lips. Before teaching a child, it is worth drawing a portrait of a person yourself, defining the stages for yourself.

It may be easier to determine the shape of the hairstyle after the oval, but I find it more convenient to start with the nose, since it is located in the middle of the face. From the nose, we place the eyes and eyebrows above, and below - the lips.

Let's not forget to dress mom by drawing the neck of the dress. Girls usually always draw beads and earrings; boys need to be reminded of this.
