He didn't write for several days. IN lately Seryozha could often not respond to my text messages for several days. Then I suggested: “Let’s just remain friends,” and he agreed.”
Now the winner of the show “Bachelor 5” admits that she never fully understood Sergei Melnik. The girl hinted that he was probably not interested in the serious development of their romance.
“To be honest, I still don’t understand what’s going on in Sergei’s head. He still couldn’t make up his mind, and at the same time he posted on social networks either our photos together, or photos from the finals... But I physically could not do this, because by law I do not have the right to take the child with me. This means that I myself cannot go to him for a long time, no matter how much I would like. Long-distance relationships can only be built if the distance is short-lived and it leads to a logical outcome - someone moves in with someone else, or both move in together in one place. This didn’t happen to us,” Marina shared.

There was definitely no categorical rejection (smiles). I'm generally used to making decisions on my own. Of course, I will definitely inform my family, brother, sister, I will listen to their opinion, but in the end I will do it as I see fit.
It’s almost always comfortable among loved ones, but how did you feel in the company of 25 unfamiliar girls?
Yes, an unusual feeling for me! There was excitement from the situation itself, from the fact that there were not just girls around me that were unfamiliar to me - I still did not understand the degree of their interest in me. It was not easy to start a conversation, to ask something, to guess something, to have a conversation with one in the presence of others who came here for me. I didn’t want to offend anyone, so I tried to pay maximum attention to everyone, although physically it is very difficult... For me, the first party was one of the most difficult days in the project.
Many men have their own type of woman that they like. When selecting participants for the project, did the directors consult with you about what kind of girls you like?
I was repeatedly asked such questions, but I tried to avoid clear answers to them. For me, the main quality of a person is character, not appearance. Of course, I had to voice some visual preferences (laughs).
So what is this?
I always pay attention to the girl’s smile and eyes. I really like it when my body is covered with a light tan. Since sport is a big part of my life, it is important for me that the girl is also athletic and takes care of herself. But hair color doesn't matter to me.
By the way, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the girls at the first party - they were all different and each beautiful in their own way!
At least give a hint - will there be a happy ending this season (filming has already ended - author)? Or are you still wondering?
Well, why in thought. I said from the very beginning that I was going into the project with a sincere desire to meet a girl with whom I would want to build a strong relationship even after filming. My desire has not changed. Of course, now there are difficulties: everyday life, work, my training camps. But the week spent together in real life, makes it possible to get to know each other much more than dating in a project, to understand character, behavior, habits. After the project begins new life, and I hope that it will be much brighter and richer.
Was the final decision difficult for you? Or did you make your choice right away?
The decision was difficult for me even when there were three girls left. The choice was not between bad or good option. In my case, these were beautiful girls, the best of all. But only with one of them could I develop a real long-term relationship after the project... Shortly before the finale, I was finally convinced of the correctness of my decision. I remember how I didn’t sleep the night before the final (smiles). No, I didn’t doubt it, I just reflected, weighed it, thought a lot about different things.
Parents probably already know who you have chosen? Approved?
Of course I do. Even while meeting the girls, my parents said that they would accept any decision I made. They liked all the girls they saw, and of course they liked both finalists. My family supports me completely - both my parents and my brother and sister.
After filming, did you change your mind about starting a family?
No! I still want a family, children. And I am aware that family is joint work. If a man and woman feel good together, any difficult moment can and should be discussed in order to keep the relationship strong.
Sergey, were you ever truly in love?
I have never had a serious relationship in my life. The girls knew that I was involved in sports and showed interest, but I devoted all my free time to football. I didn't give Valentine's cards on holidays, I didn't carry anyone's bag on the way home from school. I was so busy that there was no time for courtship.
Later there was a girl who I really liked. We had mutual friends, we sometimes met in company, she had boyfriends. She is a student, I am constantly at tournaments and training camps, I have not been home for months. It was probably my first crush, but it didn’t develop into a relationship. It seems to me that she understood that I liked her, but she had someone, and I didn’t bother to find out. This girl died... Sorry, I don’t like to think about it.

Was there sex on the project?
Fans of the show are wondering whether there will be erotic scenes on the project and whether you had sex with any of the participants?
There will be a lot of sincere, genuine emotions on the project. I remember when I was just starting the project, even a kiss in front of the camera was unacceptable for me. But since “The Bachelor” is a reality, and a kiss is a natural reaction when there is mutual sympathy between a man and a woman, at some point I stopped paying attention to the cameras. Behaved the same way as in ordinary life. If a girl and I wanted to hug, we hugged; it was fun - they joked; they wanted to kiss - they kissed. Now I can firmly say: I am not ashamed of anything on the project.
How did girls show their sympathy and fight for you - they fought, pulled out hair, did nasty things to each other?
Each tried to show attention in some way: some with words, some with talent, some with behavior. I myself sometimes provoked girls to be active, warning them that I might not have time to pay attention to everyone, so don’t miss the moment. At the rose ceremony, girls often came with surprises: they brought notes and toys. Once they even fought for the opportunity to meet me in the literal sense of the word! In my life there was such a situation when it was not a man who sought a date with a girl, but on the contrary, this was the first time.
Were you flattered that the girls went for it?
I was pleased when they tried to surprise me with symbolic gifts; in them I saw their attitude towards me. And women's wrestling is an unusual sight for me. I believe that a man should fight, so I do not at all blame those participants who refused to participate in it.
