Ethno-historical festival “Rus. The era of unification (Timur and Tokhtamysh, 1391) is one of the central events of event tourism Samara region, which allows you to combine the positive effects of military-patriotic education, role-playing social therapy for youth, and presentation of values national cultures peoples of Eurasia. It is important that the festival is held at one of the supposed sites of the grandiose battle of 1391 (over 400 thousand participants!), in which the multinational armies of the Khan of the Golden Horde Tokhtamysh and the conqueror collided Central Asia Emir Timur (Tamerlane), whose victory significantly accelerated the collapse of the huge medieval state - the Golden Horde and the rise of Muscovite Rus'. This battle is one of the most significant events in the history of our region.

The festival is, first of all, an unprecedented holiday for everyone age groups and recommend for family vacation.
