Times when the most persistent, strong and wise achieved true peace. Meditation for healing the whole body, secret knowledge developed over centuries by the best minds, is now becoming available to wide range interested parties. On the other hand, now we can discard the images of yogis and monks, forget about difficult trials and the supposedly necessary light of truth descending on us from the mountain. Despite the shortcomings and omissions, the conditions of the modern world make the practice of whole body healing accessible to everyone. And unfortunately, for many it is simply necessary.

What is Healing Meditation

We should probably start with the definition of meditation. At the same time, it will not be enough to say that this is one of the types of mental exercises, the most important component of spiritual practices, religious and philosophical teachings. It's something more. A lifestyle and a path to spiritual transformation, a way to find peace, harmony, and healing.

Contrary to popular belief, training the soul and body is not always directly related to yogis and monks, although this practice is always best supplemented with yoga exercises, proper nutrition, a healthy regimen and control of your thoughts throughout the day.

Often our understanding of the practice of healing the whole body, upon deeper study of the issue, turns out to be completely wrong. Most likely, the reason for this is the common misconceptions that society and the media impose on us.

You can work out anywhere, anytime, however you want. The practice of healing the whole body is a purely individual process in which you yourself find the most comfortable and useful option for yourself. The most important thing here, as in any workout, is to listen to your feelings.

How to do meditation for the body

We hear this word, and a number of images are already drawn in our heads. Let's say we have already discarded monks and yogis. But the image of a yoga practitioner in the lotus position still sits firmly in the mind. This idea cannot be called completely wrong: the lotus pose is possible (I will say more: it is very popular among practitioners), but the choice of possibilities is not limited to it. The only general recommendation for all vertical poses is to keep your neck and spine straight. It is believed that such postures have an impact on the mind and a slouched position will negatively affect your health and abilities.

However, training in a certain position is often difficult, and finding time for quiet solitude can be difficult. Therefore, they are often practiced during some kind of daily ritual. It could be washing the dishes, breakfast, a cup of coffee in the morning, minutes before bed - whatever.

But here we cling to two, perhaps essential components meditation practices.

During meditation, increased blood pressure ensures more efficient delivery of oxygen to the muscles, and lactic acid is quickly absorbed. Muscles upset by lactic acid receive the necessary portion of oxygen, and after some time the absorption of oxygen by the cells stops. So, the sympathetic nervous system produces lactic acid, and meditation automatically reduces the production of this acid.

What is the connection between lactic acid production and overall health? Medicine has long established that people suffering from various anxieties and worries, nervousness and tension have very high level lactic acid compared to those who are calm and balanced. Sleep, however, does not eliminate the stress and damage caused by overactivity of the adrenal glands and the sympathetic nervous system. Only deep relaxation can relieve tension in the body and mind and return a person to normal life. Meditation provides such deep relaxation, a true panacea in modern life and the surest means of achieving positive health of the entire mind/body complex.

However, it is not enough to limit yourself to relaxation alone, even if it is effective. It is necessary to change our attitude towards the environment. The happiness of each of us depends on harmonization and integration with the environment. Alienation from existence and fear of the environment will not bring us happiness. The mind/body system must be reprogrammed so that adrenaline is not injected into the bloodstream at every stressful situation. We must change our reaction to everything that happens so that a person can rest, be happy and move towards higher spheres of consciousness.
