STRIPED COLORING.

Coloring silhouettes using the CONTRAST STRIPS method looks very nice. That is, we take regular coloring With leaf templates and a ruler, draw straight lines over the picture. And then we paint all the objects on the sheet alternating these linear zones by color.

In the example below, we see that the coloring is drawn using a compass (round lines) - but these are not necessarily your lines, you can make them with a straight school ruler.

Here are suitable leaf templates that you can draw onto stripes (straight or arced stripes) and then paint in the same style. I alternate the pencils from strip to strip and use different colors for the background areas and different colors for the leaf areas.

Leaf patterns

for SECTOR COLORING.

Very beautiful crafts on the theme of autumn will turn out if the template autumn leaf divide into sectors and paint each sector separately with similar shades of the palette or, conversely, with contrasting colors.

You get the feeling of STAINED GLASS... as if the picture was made up of multi-colored pieces of glass. But in reality it's regular watercolor, or crayons, or pencil (your choice).

As you can see, everything is simple. We take a sheet template and divide it into sectors. We paint each sector with its own color (it is possible with smooth transitions of spills of shades from one to another) And then we outline the entire contour of the sheet along the edges with a clear color.

To make your work easier, I provide leaf TEMPLATES with ALREADY READY sector sawing.

You can simply print out these pictures and give them to the children and ask them to color each sector with crayons. different colors. To make coloring faster, you don’t have to change the chalk in your hand every time you move to a new sector. Show the children that it will be faster if you first take a red chalk and color 5-7 different sectors with it (not adjacent ones, but randomly). Then take a yellow chalk and also randomly fill in 5-7 other sectors. It will be faster this way, and you will fit within the time frame of the art activity class.

Large leaf templates can be filled in with a thin brush and watercolor or gouache (like the stencil below).

Olga Klishevskaya, especially for the site

Hello, comrades!
We have already learned how to depict relatively simple leaves. But how do we draw maple leaf? Beautiful and carved, it is clearly not so simple.

Of course, it is best to draw from life.

Drawing a maple leaf

Children, as a rule, having a maple leaf in front of them, without any doubt, begin to draw from the outline and carefully draw the teeth: peaks and valleys like a cardiogram. Well, again, as a rule, the ends literally do not meet: having started to dance from the stove (petiole), you need to return to the starting point. And for this you need a PLAN! That is, you need to see the pattern according to which these long and short cloves are distributed.
If you listened to the wonderful rock opera "Alice in Wonderland", then you probably remember Alice's aria:
To avoid falling into a trap,
So as not to get lost in the dark,
To never go astray,
To in the right place to land, to splash down, -
Draw a plan on the map.

And walk and sing carelessly,
Tiri-tiri-there-there, tiram!
The meeting is guaranteed -
Everything is noted in the plan
Exactly, flawlessly
So I repeat: to draw a maple leaf we need a plan. And this plan will be the veins. They are the reinforcement and make it clear what everything is based on. Draw the veins of a maple leaf with a pencil.

We draw and look carefully: the petiole, then the middle vein, up and to the sides two veins almost the same length as the middle one and two more almost on the same straight line, they are a little shorter. There are only five, and they all come out from the same point. There are main highways. Having made sure that the angles between the veins are taken correctly and the proportions are also correct, we can move on to drawing with a felt-tip pen.

Now you can draw the side ones: smaller veins extend from the upper three veins approximately from the middle. There are fewer of these secondary branches on the lower veins.

A plan of the internal structure of a maple leaf has been drawn up. Now it's time to draw the outline. The ends of the veins go into the teeth.
The scientific name for the maple leaf is palmate. Kind of like a palm. On three “fingers” in the middle there are three teeth - a median one and two lateral ones. But the lower “fingers,” or rather the blades, are simpler and have fewer teeth.

Our leaf, in fact, looks quite symmetrical, but in nature a complete pattern is rarely found, and if you look closely, you can see that the halves are not strictly mirror-like.

And since we are drawing this particular leaf, we will make sure that the number and length of the teeth and the depth of the depressions between the blades are exactly like our leaf.

This is how we drew a maple leaf from life. Correct and similar.

Soooo, who else came here? The leaf is carved, five-lobed... maple again!?

If we drew a maple leaf from our imagination, we could easily mistake this leaf for a maple leaf. But no, using some external resemblance, Hops is gaining our trust here! Hmm, if he promises to lead a sober lifestyle, then we will agree to draw his sheet for the edification of our ancestors and descendants. In its own way, it is no worse than maple, beautiful and carved.
The hop leaf also has five lobes, but the shape of the lobes and the contour of the edge are completely different. Well, let’s draw it from life as it is and in the future we won’t confuse different plants. What is our plan of action? Petiole - central vein - lateral veins.

There are no particularly large teeth here and we will start drawing the outline.

I note that the lower blades have such characteristic “ears”.

If you have no imagination or want to plunge a little into the autumn magic, spend time with your child drawing a maple leaf. This is a fun activity with lots of bright colors and a positive charge of emotions.

The maple leaf is one of the most beautiful. Besides what he has original shape with five pointed ends, its color is very bright and colorful. It doesn’t matter for what purpose you need to draw this drawing, for children's competition or autumn landscape, This a useful pastime for anyone.

Drawing a maple leaf is easy. They will help you with this step by step sketches:

  • First of all, you should draw the frame of the leaf. To do this, you need to draw an arched vertical line - this is the stem of the leaf.
  • Then draw two horizontal crossing lines by hand. This is the basis for its five-pointed shape.
  • Trace the ends of the drawn lines, and then erase the sketch inside the drawing. The base is ready!
How to draw a maple leaf step by step?

After that, start detailing your drawing. It is necessary to make sharp tips along the edges of the leaf so that it looks realistic.

Detailing the drawing

After that, erase extra lines sketch and draw characteristic veins on the leaf.

Veins on a maple leaf

After that, all you have to do is paint the sheet in colorful colors: yellow, orange, brick, brown, red, green. The sheet can be monochromatic or have many shades.

The leaves that adorn the trees at any time of the year attract much attention. In the spring they begin to appear from seemingly dead trees; in the summer they delight the eye green, and in the fall they turn into a charming golden carpet.

Many people consider leaves to be the most unique and beautiful decoration existing on our planet. Personally, I like leaves best in the fall. I love the period when the leaves begin to fall, and I just can’t stop admiring this unusual carnival of golden colors that exist in nature.

Each leaf is beautiful in its own way and it makes no difference at all whether it is green or already yellowed. Probably the most unusual and at the same time beautiful leaves at the maple. In my opinion, they stand out from everyone else because of their unusual shape, as well as size. That is why I would like to devote this lesson to drawing a maple leaf.

To begin with, we will try to acquire the skills of drawing one leaf in order to create huge bouquet from these leaves. I suggest you decorate your room with this bouquet of multi-colored maple leaves. I think the room will become bright and beautiful.

As in previous lessons, we will draw in stages. We take a pencil and draw the outline of our leaf. When the drawing is ready, paint the sheet with paints.

Let's start our task by drawing a horizontal line. For this we use a simple pencil and do not use a ruler. We draw a vertical line in the center of the sheet, then on each side of it we make several curved lines.

I want to explain to you why I did not recommend using a ruler. The fact is that the leaves have an irregular geometric shape; it simply cannot be otherwise in nature.

Before drawing a leaf, I recommend that you first thoroughly study its structure. So when you're walking in the park, find a few leaves and bring them home. By drawing leaves “from nature”, you can convey their realism in the picture.

This stage requires maintaining symmetry, which is actually the main rule for drawing veins. Draw small veins arbitrarily, but note that our main horizontal vein should not have too many branches.

This task probably couldn’t be simpler. You only need to outline all the drawn veins with a line, making it solid. You can copy my drawing, but this is not necessary.

Don't forget to make the edges sharp. We make noticeable gaps between the particles of the leaf. As we know, the leaves have a solid shape with slightly noticeable breaks, but maple leaves are a little different, as they have several segments. This is what makes maple leaves different from all other types of leaves.

Now we need to start working on the main veins, namely, draw thickenings for them. After this we will depict the leg, we will make it thicker at the base. Thus, we have worked on the lower contour of our leaf, and then we move on to the next stage.

I think you are convinced that drawing a maple leaf is easy. The main thing here is to correctly depict small details, as well as accurately convey the shape of the leaf. Next we will add a small number of strokes to our masterpiece, remember, they should be small. Well, now you can start coloring the leaf. It's up to you to choose what you paint with.

It's time to get busy the last stage our lesson. When drawing my leaf, I sketched shadows with a regular pencil, but I suggest you make your picture multi-colored. That's why we take up colored pencils.

You may have thought about using paint for this step, but I want to warn you that you can ruin the small details by painting over them. This applies to those with little experience in this matter.

Perhaps your leaf looks lonely, then draw other maple leaves side by side. Make them smaller and paint them with any shade, giving your leaves the colors of autumn falling leaves.

And you can look at the paintings of young professional artists on the Art-Attic website. Art Attic is a website of three artists presenting their work to the public.

The maple leaf is beautiful not only for its appearance, but also healing properties.

Maple, maple leaves: description

Most of the maples are trees 10-40 m high. There are also shrubs 5-10 m high among them.

Maple is mainly a deciduous plant. However, there are also evergreen species (in South Asia and the Mediterranean region).

Description of the maple leaf various types plants may vary.

Maple leaves are opposite, palm-shaped (palmated) in many species. Each blade has 3-9 veins, one of which is in the middle. There are several species with leaves that are compound palmate, compound pinnate, even with pinnate venation or without lobes.

A small number of maple species have trefoil leaves (gray, trifloral, Manchurian and Maximovich maple). The ash-leaved maple has complex pinnate leaves, consisting of three, five, seven and even more leaves. The leaves of the hornbeam maple are the simplest and have pinnate veins, reminiscent of hornbeams.

Places where maple trees grow

Maple is widespread in the Northern Hemisphere (polar regions of Europe and North America, tropical regions of Central America and South Asia). They predominate mainly in temperate latitudes.

In tropical areas only a few species of maple are known, and in the Southern Hemisphere there is only one - laurel. In the very north of Africa, maples live along the coast Mediterranean Sea. In Australia and South America- absent at all.

There are about twenty species of maples in Russia. Norway, field, Tartary and white maples grow especially well. They live mainly in the European part of Russia. They are absent in Siberia. Japanese Maple is included in the Russian Red Book.

In the southern territories, maples are mainly distributed in mountainous regions, and mainly at an altitude of up to 3000 m above sea level in the Himalayan mountains. A small number of species also grow on the plain. In practice they grow singly or in small groups.

Medical and other uses

IN folk medicine Treatment with maple leaves and more is widely used. Young leaves (sap), seeds, maple branches and root bark are used.

Young maple leaves produce juice - a tasty and very healthy drink for the body. Perfectly quenches thirst and has good tonic properties. The very first mentions of maple are in folk “healing books”. This dates back to the 16th-17th centuries. Practice has shown that maple sap helps against 45 diseases.

The healing properties of the plant have been known for a long time. Maple (and its parts) is widely used in medicine and healing.

8. Klenovka (sweet maple juice) is drunk for scurvy and pain in the lumbar region (lumbago). The juice contains a substance that resembles antibiotics in its properties.

In some areas of Canada and Russia, where people from Russia and Ukraine live, maple sap is used as a remedy for treating shallow wounds. Perhaps this juice also has disinfecting properties.

In addition to the juice, the bark is also harvested in the spring for medicinal purposes.

Autumn maple leaves

In the fall, maple leaves turn yellow and red-orange colors interspersed with the remaining summer greens. Moreover, each leaf vein can have its own color. One small leaf can have about 6 colors.

The maple leaf is incredibly beautiful in autumn. It can be yellow, red, orange. There are motley and spotted ones. During the period when the fantastically beautiful maple leaves fall, it becomes unusually fabulous in the forests and parks.

And how beautiful are the golden landscapes during the bright autumn with maple forests!
