Drawing master class for children 5-7 years old “Fairytale flowers in a lace frame” step by step with photos

Sredina Olga Stanislavovna, teacher, head of the art studio of the MDOU TsRR d.s. No. 1 “Bear Cub”, Yuryuzan, Chelyabinsk Region
Purpose:
Exhibition, educational work or a gift
Materials:
A3 paper “Snow Maiden”, wax crayons, gouache, soft brush No. 5-8, various laces.

Target:
Creation beautiful work in a “lace” frame
Tasks:
Composition skills training
Cultivating curiosity, patience and accuracy
Development of fantasy and imagination
Improving practical skills in working with wax crayons and gouache
Introduction:
The work, enclosed in a frame, takes on a finished look, like a precious or ornamental stone in a frame. The frame should emphasize the merits of the picture, highlight it, and not shout over the drawing. The most common solution is a passe-partout. But if you want something more interesting, and at the same time not very difficult to make, there are options.
What frames can be used to frame children's work? Simple, not too fancy. They can be made from paper tubes or cardboard covered with fabric. Ready-made frames can be decorated with puzzles, shells, buttons, and pasta. But this requires additional time. How can you do both a drawing and a drawing in one lesson? beautiful frame to him?

Preliminary work:
Creating a lace frame begins with selecting a strip of lace of the desired length. Using tape, attach it to the surface of the table. Place a sheet of paper on the lace and use a wax chalk to draw it flat along the edge. The stronger the pressure, the clearer the pattern appears. The darker the chalk, the better it is visible. We used blue, purple, dark green, violet and red.

As an option, we tried to tint the entire background in this way. For this we used a piece of lace slightly larger than our sheet size. There is no need to fix the paper here. And no strong pressure is required. It’s just that the dark background will “flicker” a little later.
Literary application:
We listen to riddles, fairy tales and poems about flowers, and look at the illustrations.

Mothers love us children, we are BOUQUETS for them!

Conversation:
We talk about the diversity and similarity of plants. We answer the questions: What does each flower have? What are flowers for? What flowers do you like? What flowers do your mothers like?
How can a fairy flower differ from ordinary flowers? Come up with a magical name for your flower.

Practical work:
1 option
Depending on the age of the students, you can draw one flower or a composition of three flowers. The layout of the sheet can be vertical or horizontal.
Draw a round yellow center. Choose a place for the flower just above the middle of the leaf and slightly to the left or right of the center. Then we finish drawing the slightly curved stem and leaves. The leaves at the base of the stem are larger. The higher the leaves are located on the stem, the smaller they are. (Just like tree branches)

Draw flower petals. We come up with the shape of paired petals to the left and right of the stem. Add the central petal, and then the rest, placing them symmetrically.

When coloring, we use the technique of overlaying color on color. The overlap boundary is not clear, but arbitrary. Color the leaves using different shades of green. Add shine around the flower and curling “tendrils” on the stem.

The last stage is the most magical. By painting the drawing with liquid black gouache (we dilute it to the desired consistency in a jar), we get a magical manifestation of a flower from blackness. The stronger the pressure when drawing, the brighter the image will be. The weaker the pressure, the more foggy the work will be.

Note: we begin to work with the brush carefully, drawing a smooth line along the lace. (This step can be performed by a teacher). Then the child puts gouache on the brush and draws parallel lines from top to bottom or from right to left, trying not to leave gaps.
Option 2
In everything technically identical to the first. The only difference is the shimmering background and a more complex composition.
The work begins with three round yellow centers, three slightly curved stems and long narrow leaves. To make the composition harmonious, the centers cannot be placed on the same level (even if it is a bouquet). You can't draw them too low and close to the frame. Children come up with the shape of leaves and petals themselves.

Option 3
In this version we depict flowers growing in a meadow or flowerbed. There may be three or five.

Children's works of pupils of senior and preparatory groups.

Flowers can be seen in many paintings famous artists. Painters saw the soul in flowers and compared them with people. That is why these paintings are considered treasures of world art. Priceless paintings were created more than 100 years ago by the artist Vincent Van Gogh. Van Gogh often painted flowers: branches blossoming apple trees, chestnuts, acacias, almond trees, roses, oleanders, daisies. The flower, according to the artist, symbolizes appreciation and gratitude. In his “flower” paintings, Vincent looked for new color combinations. There are four options for the theme “Irises in a Provençal jug”. Van Gogh himself wrote about this work on still lifes: “One of them is on a pink background, where the effect is harmonious and soft thanks to the combination of green, pink and purple tones. The second... placed against a sparkling lemon yellow background with other tones of yellow in the vase, it creates the effect of contrasting complementary colors that enhance each other.”

But the most famous are Van Gogh's Sunflowers. This flower was the artist’s favorite. He wrote them eleven times. Still lifes with sunflowers shine in all shades of sunny yellow. He wrote them on different backgrounds- blue, pale malachite green, bright blue. Van Gogh wanted to achieve radiance, a sunny glow yellow. This color, beloved by the artist, embodied joy, kindness, benevolence, energy, and warmth.

Vincent Van Gogh did not have an easy life. He was poor, sick, and lonely. But his “Sunflowers” seem to say that the artist found happiness and joy in his work.

It is believed that drawing flowers is especially difficult. Each of them is based on a certain geometric figure. Once you understand this, it will be easier for you to cope with your work.

Before you start drawing, practice on separate sheets of paper: with a simple pencil draw circles, ovals, spirals. Make sure that your arms are free to move while working. Do not hold the pencil in your fist or press the paper (the lines should be light gray, not black).

HOW TO DRAW FLOWERS WITH EARLY CHILDREN

Take a sheet of paper or album, a pencil and an eraser. Ask your child what he will use to decorate the flower and prepare pencils, markers or paints with a brush.

Tell your child the rules of how to work with paints.

  1. Prepare and moisten the paints with clean water;
  2. mix paints on a palette (white paper), not forgetting to wash your brushes;
  3. evenly cover the surface of the background and characters in the composition;
  4. at the end of the work, wash the brush, do not leave it in a jar of water, but wipe it with a cloth;
  5. After finishing the paint, put the pencil in boxes or in a pencil case.

Explain to your child that you need to start drawing the flower from the middle, then the petals and the stem with leaves. Once you have finished drawing, start coloring. Show your child how to paint correctly - the strokes or paint should not go beyond the outline of the image, otherwise the drawing will not be neat.

If your child cannot immediately draw a flower, do not try to force him, but suggest another way. Using tracing paper, you can trace a finished flower printed or drawn by you, and then decorate it.

End classes the moment your child loses interest. Whatever your child draws, be sure to praise him and hang your masterpiece on the wall so that your child feels like a real artist.

Send us a photo of the resulting drawing. Please indicate I.F. child, age, city, country where you live and your baby will become a little famous! We wish you success!

How to quickly draw a flower using different techniques.

Draw what you like

The first step is choosing an object. Start with colors you like: it's always easier to paint what inspires you. Gerberas, magnolias or tulips - create a watercolor bouquet to suit your taste.

Determine the shape of the flower

Determine the simple, basic shape of the plant. It can be a cone, bell or triangle. You may want to get started quickly and skip this step. But believe me: this helps a lot and speeds up the process.

By sketching the basic shape with light lines, you will understand the structure of the entire plant.

Advice: The first sketch can be done in a sketchbook. When starting to draw on watercolor paper, do not use a very soft pencil or press too hard. Otherwise, the paper may be damaged and the lines will remain visible after erasing.

Draw leaves correctly

The leaves determine how convincing the image will be. The secret is to not interrupt the line of the main central vein. If it is out of place, the sheet will look unnatural. Start drawing the leaf from the central vein. Imagine that the leaf is transparent and you can only see its edges and veins.

Advice: When drawing, do not erase unnecessary lines immediately. Otherwise, there is a chance to make a mistake again. And if the wrong line remains in front of your eyes, it will be easier to draw the correct one next to it.

To obtain a soft, uniform wash, it must first be moistened with water. This allows the paint to flow naturally before it begins to soak into the paper, and gives extra time for the color to stretch (create a smooth transition from one color to another) and to blot out highlights.

Moisten from the middle and spread water towards the edges. Repeat a couple of times to make sure the paper is well hydrated. In this case, the edges will not dry as quickly. After you have evenly distributed the water, check to see if there are any “puddles” left on the surface of the paper, and if there are any, blot them with a damp brush.

1. Fill a brush with water and wet one leaf or petal. The surface of the paper should acquire a uniform shine.

2. While the paper is wet, apply paint.

3. Spread the color to the edges of the design minimum quantity brush passes.

4. Gently stretch the paint to the edges of the element, while aligning the outline.

5. Before the wash dries, you can blot the paint to reveal the illuminated areas and emphasize the shape of the element.

“Color Stretch” Technique

Often you need to use two or more colors on one area. The advantages of this method are that you don’t need to add additional blur and it’s easy to immediately set the desired shape. You can work with any number of colors at the same time.

1. Clean water wet an individual petal or leaf, then apply the first color of paint.

2. While it is still wet, apply a second color of paint next to it.

3. Flatten the tip of the brush and create a transition between colors.

4. Continue until the transition is smooth. Try to work quickly before the paint dries. Avoid unnecessary strokes, otherwise streaks will remain after drying. In the example in the photo, such a stroke is visible on the fold of the petal.

5. Before the paint dries, blot the highlights and outline the veins on each petal. A gradual color change can be used to indicate the direction of light. Draw the rest of the petals in the same way. Work on them one at a time so as not to touch the still wet layer of paint on the adjacent petal, and when they are completely dry, proceed to the missed ones.

“Textured blotting” technique

This is an interesting technique that works for complex pleated or wavy petals. For example, to simulate folds on the surface of a poppy petal.

1. Moisten the paper in the desired area and apply deep red paint using the wet-on-wet technique.

2. While the paint is still wet, add a dark color to the base of the flower. purple so that it blends in with the red.

3. Using a crumpled paper towel, blot the paint only once.

4. Lift up the towel.

5. Repeat a couple of times, using a clean towel each time to avoid transferring paint from the towel back onto the design.

6. Let dry completely and refine the highlights to create petal folds.

Advice: for the first wash, take it immediately rich colors so that you don’t have to enhance the color later. Dark shades will give a nice, strong contrast of dark and light in the pattern.

If you were looking for how to draw flowers step by step and easily, then you have come to the right place! In this lesson, you can find many different schemes for drawing flowers. The schemes I have collected are lightweight and primarily addressed to beginners. With their help you can easily draw your favorite flowers!

How to draw flowers step by step

You can see flower drawing schemes just below, but for now let's talk how to draw flowers step by step, and what is needed for this.

To draw flowers you will need a standard set of drawing materials, namely:

  • simple pencils;
  • eraser;
  • colored pencils.

If you want to draw flowers with paints, then you will need paints instead of colored pencils. You can decorate your favorite flowers with a simple pencil, but you must admit that flowers will look much more beautiful in color.

A sketch of a flower is best done with a simple pencil, because lines drawn with a simple pencil can always be easily corrected with an eraser. For sketching, soft pencils marked “3B” or “4B” are best suited. When you have sketched, feel free to erase extra lines and color with colored pencils or paints! When decorating flowers, always try to choose bright colors.

In most diagrams of how to draw flowers step by step with a pencil, you can see that first the outlines of the flower are drawn with a pencil, and then the flower is painted with color.

When decorating flowers with colored pencils, take your time! Apply strokes horizontally or vertically, that is, in one direction. If you paint it in different directions, you will get “straw”. And don’t forget that in the beginning you shouldn’t put too much pressure on the pencil.

As a rule, drawing a flower begins with a bud, and then draws the stem and leaves.
