However, despite the very respectable age of kefir (the drink has been prepared in the Caucasus for many centuries), scientific evidence of its amazing properties appeared only at the beginning of the 20th century. Modern scientists who have studied fermented milk drink claim that it can prevent the occurrence of cancer, in particular colon cancer and breast cancer.

Another unique property of kefir is its ability to support human immunity. Kefir also calms nervous system, relieves chronic fatigue syndrome, relaxes muscles - that’s why it’s so useful to drink before bed.

And there is no need to talk about the benefits that kefir has for the digestive system: this drink is easily digestible and contains bacteria that normalize the intestinal microflora. And, as you know, problems with the intestines become the causes of many serious ailments.

Kefir plays a special role in the diet of overweight people. Firstly, this drink is low in calories, but at the same time satisfies well.
