We choose natural Karelian granite for monuments

The stone-processing factory "Danila-Master" offers you grave monuments made of natural Karelian gabbro granite - diabase, the best stone in terms of price-quality ratio, service life and reliability.
Let us clarify only the main of its many advantages.

Strength and Durability:

Granite - translated from Latin as “grain”, is so named because it is a granular volcanic rock that was formed as a result of the cooling and hardening of magma. This is a very dense stone that does not allow moisture to pass through, is resistant to deformation, air temperature fluctuations, ultraviolet radiation and great for outdoor use. The service life of granite products is 500-600 years, which is many times longer than all other types of stone.

Ease of processing and design:

A portrait, drawing, and even a painting of any complexity can be easily applied to a granite monument. The mirror-polished black surface of the stone will retain the amazing clarity of the engraving, contrast of shades and halftones for many centuries. And the experienced craftsmen of the Danila-Master company create models from granite various shapes with skillfully executed lines, bas-reliefs and decorative elements.

Care requirements:

Unlike some other materials that require special annual treatment, caring for a granite monument consists only of periodically wiping it from dust. Occasionally, granite is treated with polish, which is not necessary. Dirt can be removed with ordinary soapy water and a soft cloth. The stone does not require any other measures.

Monument production technology from the Danila-Master company

Making grave monuments involves a number of complex production processes. Let's briefly look at each stage.

Stone mining. There are three ways to obtain granite:

method of directed explosion (the most “barbaric” and destructive for stone);

air cushion method (granite is mined by breaking rock under air pressure);

using a stone cutter requires expensive equipment and trained employees. But this is our choice because it is the most modern and gentle on the stone. The resulting monument is of excellent quality without any defects.

Delivery to the place of production.

The advantage of our company in this process is that before it begins, specialists eliminate the possibility of low-quality stone entering the production. Those blocks that were injured during mining are immediately rejected. Transportation of granite is carried out by special transport and is carefully controlled in order to eliminate the risk of damage to the stone.

Granite processing - includes several additional steps:

sawing is cutting a block into separate slabs of a certain size. Only professional equipment allows you to do this correctly, preserving all the beauty and integrity of the stone;

grinding - used to remove roughness, abrasions and unevenness from the surface of the future monument. This stage is carried out with special diamond discs, which have a very high price;

stone polishing - this procedure achieves a unique gloss for which the granite monument is famous. In our company, granite polishing is carried out in 11 stages, which gives the stone a noble appearance and luxurious mirror shine;

finishing- masters of the figure shop embody the most daring ideas, decorate the monument with various bas-reliefs and finials.

Engraving, drawing portraits and inscriptions."Danila-Master" can offer this service in various ways:

sandblasting method- suitable for symbols, inscriptions and simple drawings;

clients who prefer manual drawing of portraits, can use this service at any office of the company.

The benefits of ordering a grave monument from the manufacturer

Most clients are sure that buying a granite monument from a manufacturer is very expensive. Let me convince you and tell you about the benefits of cooperation with us:

Remember your mom
Monuments and sculptures are made from different materials, but they represent one thing - mother's love/ Story “Monumental sculpture” / June, 2016

It’s hard to live when you’ve lost your Mother forever.
There are no happier people whose mother is alive.
In the name of my dead brothers
Please, think about my words.

No matter how the rush of events beckons you,
No matter how you attract me into your whirlpool,
Take care of your mother more than your eyes,
From grievances, from hardships and worries.

Mother will die, and the scars will not be erased,
The mother will die, and the pain will not be relieved.
I conjure: take care of your mother,
Children of the world, take care of your mother!
(Rasul Gamzatov)

Story: at this monument true story maternal and military feat, which cannot leave anyone indifferent. The monument is dedicated to Zadonsk resident Maria Frolova. This woman, from whom the war took away 8 sons, can rightfully personify the image of a mother.
Maria and Georgy Frolov got married before the Revolution. George was 20 years older than Maria. He treated his wife with trepidation and tenderness, was truly in love with his wife and grateful for the children. Mary bore him 14 children, two of whom died in infancy. They raised and raised two daughters and 10 sons - handsome, smart, athletes and musicians. The children grew up strong, friendly and cheerful. In the summer we swam across the Don several times a day. Winter evenings read books aloud.
Eldest daughter Antonina was the first to leave her parents' home in Zadonsk and move to Leningrad, a city that became a second home for the Frolov children. Following their sister, the brothers followed their sister to the banks of the Neva. They got jobs and started families. When the news came in 1941 that the war had begun, the mother said doomedly: “That means all our people will leave.” The Zadon brothers left Leningrad for the front and most of them died defending the Northern capital.
Maria received 6 funerals - six sons died during hostilities. Two sons died from the consequences of front-line wounds shortly after the Victory.
Maria's husband Georgy died in May 1941. Receiving messages about the death of the brothers, the youngest daughter Anna shared the bitterness and horror of the loss with her mother. Anna lived with her mother in Zadonsk, fulfilling her promise to her brothers - not to leave her mother. Maria Matveevna passed away at the age of 96.

In Zadonsk there is a street named after the Frolov brothers. On April 29, 1995, a memorial plaque was installed on the house where the Frolov family lived. Some things of the Frolov family are kept in.

In 2002, by decision of the district administration and the district Council of Deputies, fundraising began for the construction of a monument to Maria Matveevna Frolova, a monument to the Mother. The main funds for the construction of the monument were allocated from the regional and district budgets. In the construction of the monument there is a feasible contribution from Zadontsev, who sincerely honor the memory of the Frolov family. Almost 100 thousand rubles were collected, as they say, by the whole world. Donations came not only from the entire region, but also from residents of St. Petersburg - the descendants of those whom the Frolov brothers defended without sparing their lives.

The monument was inaugurated in the year of the 60th anniversary Great Victory– September 24, 2005. Residents of the city, representatives of the district administration, the authors of the monument gathered, and Maria Matveevna’s grandson, Evgeny Mikhailovich Frolov, came. “We wanted to show the bitterness and sadness of mothers of front-line soldiers. We wanted the monument to remind, first of all, of the tragedy of the war,” said artist Yu. D. Grishko at the opening.

The monument to Maria Frolova in Zadonsk soon became known throughout the country. It is rightfully considered a monument to all mothers of Russia who lost their children in wartime.

Description: in the center of the composition is a statue of an elderly woman frozen in eternal sorrow. The sculpture of the Mother is made of polymer concrete. There are eight obelisks around male names: Mikhail, Dmitry, Konstantin, Tikhon, Vasily, Leonid, Nikolay, Peter.
