Sketch of a drawing on the theme of autumn. How to draw an autumn tree

In this lesson we will look at how to draw an autumn landscape with a pencil step by step. This lesson is suitable for all ages, both schoolchildren, children and adults. What is the autumn landscape like? Autumn can be different, so let's take late autumn. The autumn landscape in late autumn consists of almost bare trees, there are very few leaves left on the tree, there is a lot of fallen leaves around the tree, the weather is gloomy with rain and everything around is gray and unpleasant, birds fly away to the south. This is a typical drawing late autumn.

Here is our drawing autumn landscape, autumn.

We draw a straight line of the horizon and perspective.

We draw trees in the foreground, marking the tree trunks with lines.

Now we draw the right bank of the river.

How to draw autumn as realistically as possible? It is important to be curious and attentive, to notice even small details. For example, to prevent trees from hanging in the air, you need to “tie” them to the ground using a small mound covered with stunted grass.

In autumn, life practically comes to a standstill, use pencil strokes to show the slow flow of the river, the blurry silhouette of the forest.

We draw clouds in the sky, because... We said above that autumn is always associated with rain and gloom.

We also draw the silhouette of birds flying south. But with the arrival of spring, they will fly to our region again.

To liven up the drawing a little, you can show the remains of the web in which the forest dweller, the spider, fell asleep soundly and “went into hibernation.”

With the help of highlights we give the picture a cold look, the sun practically does not heat, frost glistens on the fallen leaves. Use an eraser for this.

By the way, there is interesting way coloring using colored corrugated paper. You must first draw leaves on paper in exactly the same way with white wax crayon. After this, tear corrugated paper of autumn colors (red, yellow, orange, brown) into small pieces and, thoroughly wetting each piece in water, stick them onto the drawing. Make sure that there are no two pieces of paper of the same color next to each other. Let the paper dry a little (but not completely!), and then remove it from the drawing. You will get a wonderful multi-colored background. Leave the work to dry completely, then put it under the press.

Method 2.

You can make an interesting autumn craft if you place the leaf under thin foil. The foil should be placed with the shiny side up. After this, you need to carefully smooth the foil with your fingertips so that the design appears. Next you need to cover it with a layer of black paint (this can be gouache, ink, tempera). Once the paint is dry, very gently scrub the painting with a steel wool pad. The protruding veins of the leaf will shine, and dark paint will remain in the recesses. Now you can glue the resulting relief onto a sheet of colored cardboard.

Method 3.

A very simple and at the same time effective technique is to print leaves on paper, onto which paint is first applied. You can use any paint, just apply it to the side of the leaves where the veins appear.

Here are prints of rowan leaves. And any kid can draw rowan berries - they are made using a cotton swab with red paint.

Link

You can create a beautiful autumn design if you print leaves with white paint on a sheet of dark-colored cardboard. When the paint dries, you need to color the leaves with colored pencils. It will turn out beautiful if some leaves are left white.

The background can be left as is, or made colorful by painting with paints using a sponge. In this case, you need to leave a small unpainted space around the leaves.

If you decide to make the background colored, then the leaves themselves can be left white.

Method 4.

To add volume to your drawings, you can use the following interesting technique. You will need thin wrapping paper or white crepe paper.

Method 6.

Another original autumn pattern, made in warm and cold colors. The leaves themselves are drawn in warm colors(yellow, red, orange), background - in cold colors (green, blue, purple). To do this job you will need a compass.

1. Draw some leaves different shapes on paper.
2. Now, using a compass, draw a circle of small radius in the lower left corner of the piece of paper. Next, adding about 1 cm at a time, draw circles of larger and larger radius, as far as the compass allows.
3. Now do the same in the upper right corner.
4. Finally, color the autumn leaves with felt-tip pens or pencils in warm colors (the colors should alternate sequentially), and the background in cool colors.

Maple leaf. Maple leaf drawing

Method 7.

Help your child draw a maple leaf on a piece of paper. Divide it into sectors by veins. Let the child paint each sector of the leaf with some special pattern.

You can combine two methods.

Autumn crafts for children

Method 8.

Another unusual autumn pattern.

1. Draw leaves of different shapes on paper. They should occupy the entire sheet of paper, but not touch each other. Some of the leaves should start from the borders of the sheet of paper. Draw only the outlines of the leaves, without veins.
2. Now using a simple pencil and rulers, draw two lines from left to right and two from top to bottom. The lines should cross the leaves, dividing them into sectors.
3. Choose two colors for the background and two colors for the leaves. Color them in the chosen colors as in the picture.
4. When the paint has dried, trace the outlines of the leaves and the drawn lines with a gold marker.

Drawings on the theme of autumn

Method 9.

To make this autumn crafts you will need regular newspaper and paints (including white paint).

1. Draw a maple leaf on a piece of newspaper.

2. Paint it and, after the paint has dried, cut it out.

3. Take another sheet of newspaper and use white paint to draw and color a large square on it.

4. Place your sheet over the paint and wait for it to dry completely.

5. This is what you should get in the end!

Autumn is the favorite time of many children. Her bright colors and the blueness of the endless sky delight, fascinate and charge with positivity. The autumn beauty is reflected in music, poetry, stories and on the canvases of great masters. Children love to transfer their observations of changes in nature onto paper. And even though they are not at all neat and in some places not very beautiful, this is not scary, because the children are just learning to pick up a pencil and work with a brush.

Not every child will immediately figure out how best to depict the autumn theme. Parents or teachers should remind children of the autumn landscape. You may have to go for a walk together and draw the baby’s attention to the shape of the leaves, the color of the trees, and the blue of the sky. Let the child, upon arriving home, try to transfer them to paper.
Autumn themes may include a lyrical landscape.

Reflect the melancholy of migratory birds.

...or the beauty of swirling leaves.

Children's drawings autumn

Children's drawings can convey a feeling of melancholy from rainy weather.

Autumn is the time for mushrooms, so it’s impossible to ignore the beauty of the delicious representatives of late autumn.

Many children associate the arrival of autumn with the Day of Knowledge.

Autumn pencil drawing, step by step master class

Step 1
Drawing begins by drawing a large shape on paper in the form English letter"V" using long, curved lines. Notice that the sides of the "V" are not straight, but wavy. One of the lines at the top has a small branch.

Step 2
A pair of long, curved lines are added to the design and extend down from the "V" shape. This is a tree trunk that thickens slightly near the ground.
Step 3
From the upper branches, curved lines of different lengths are drawn on both sides.

Step 4
The two lines form another wide branch extending from the tree trunk. Then additional small branches are made.

Step 5
The tree trunk is covered with leaves.

Step 6
A thick, irregularly shaped mass of leaves with jagged ends is added.
Step 7
Fallen teardrop-shaped leaves are depicted under the tree.

Step 8
Fill all bald spots with additional branches, twigs and leaves. The trunk is detailed using curved lines of varying lengths.
Step 9
Draw a second horizon line, rising above the first. Add unevenness on the ground and a few fallen leaves on it.

Step 10
A palette of colors is applied to the drawing: from golden yellow or copper to red-orange or brown. In the distance, following the principle of the given tree, you can add a whole forest.

Golden autumn drawing, step by step with photo

An example of a golden autumn drawing made in unconventional technology– painting with a sponge. Such work will challenge the child positive emotions, and will also show you how to use familiar objects in drawing.

Materials:

  • album sheet;
  • gouache paint in four shades: red, yellow, green, brown;
  • brushes;
  • two foam sponges;
  • scissors;
  • disposable plates.

The contours of trees are drawn on the dense side of the sponges. Then carefully cut out the excess parts with scissors.

Three colors are diluted in plates to the consistency of sour cream: yellow, red and green.

Using a sponge, paint a yellow base on the sheet. Then drop one tree template into yellow paint, and the other in red and make neat impressions on paper.

On the sides of the design there are imprints of fir trees and with a long stroke - the remains of green grass.

Add a little red to yellow trees.

At the top, the sun is depicted with a brush and drawn brown tint tree trunks.

Finally, reddish strokes are made at the base of the trees.

Drawings autumn 1st grade, 3 options with explanations

Alternatively, children's drawing can be drawn using a real leaf and paints. To do this, take several sheets of different shapes, apply them to paper and draw an outline with a pencil. The middle is painted over with paints using a sponge or brush. Another way of painting is to apply paint to the underside of a sheet and press it to the surface of the sheet. The drawing is obtained with a printed sheet different sizes and shapes.

Landscape “In the Garden”

At the bottom of the sheet draw the outline of a hill. Then with right side draw a counter line.

In the middle of the connection of two hills, another smaller one is depicted and two arched ones on the sides.

Drawing a tree starts from the base of the trunk.

Curved lines depict the main branches that are located inside the trunk. On both sides of the main branches, small branches with curved ends are drawn.

Leaves and fruits are added to the branches of the tree; several of them have already fallen to the ground.

To decorate the picture, choose autumn colors: yellow, brown, red and orange.

Collage of leaves

Leaves are collected for work various forms and sizes. Place one of them on a flat surface and cover with paper. Gently stroke the paper surface with crayons or oil pastels until the stencil shape appears. Then the sheet is removed from under the paper and the next one is placed. It can be painted in a different color.

Autumn drawing, grade 2, 3 options with explanations

Autumn drawing with cotton swabs

Materials:

  • watercolor paints;
  • watercolor paper;
  • artist's masking tape (optional);
  • straws;
  • cotton swabs;
  • wide brush;
  • water.

The edges of the sheet are covered with masking tape so that at the end you have a clean frame to work with. To obtain a beautiful graduated base, the sheet is first moistened with plain water and then a little color is added. While the paper is wet, draw clouds, then let it dry.

On the lower half of the sheet yellow, green and red shades are applied for the horizon. Leave the work to dry again. Mix black paint with water until it reaches the consistency of ink. A little paint drips at the bottom of the work. Then they give the children a tube to “blow out” parts of the trunk and branches. Where necessary, add paint. Let the work dry.

Using cotton swabs, yellow and red “leaves” are applied to the tree and underneath it.

Leaf under foil

The work looks original with a leaf placed under thin foil (the top should be shiny). Use your fingers to gently stroke the metal material to develop the design. Then the base is covered with a layer of black gouache or ink. Leave the work to dry and carefully go over it with a steel wool. The veins will become shiny, but the grooves will remain dark. The relief is then placed on cardboard.

Tree in autumn

The following work was done using regular salt. To begin with, the sheet itself is moistened with a sponge, paint is applied and the wet background is sprinkled with salt.

After 10 seconds, shake off the salt and dry the workpiece itself. Grass and tree outlines are drawn and then painted in mixed autumn tones.

Drawing autumn in kindergarten with paints:

Any children's autumn drawing, drawn with paints or a pencil, is replete with bright colors. Some people associate their favorite season with bunches of rowan berries, others with dreary rain, and for others it’s mushroom season. Kindergarten children are just beginning to master the technique of painting with paints, so simpler works are chosen for them and ready-made templates are often used.

junior group, step by step

Personal autumn drawing

The child traces his palm on a brown sheet of paper. Then it is cut out and glued to a white background - this will be the base of the tree.

Using a wine cork, multi-colored circles are randomly applied around the crown.

Autumn tree

The technique of drawing such a tree is so simple that even a three-year-old child can master it. For work, print out a template of the barrel, prepare paint, a brush and a round brush.
Paints of different tones are squeezed onto separate plates: yellow, orange, brown and red. The brush is dipped into one of the flowers and applied to the tree, depicting leaves. The tree trunk is then painted brown.

Finger painting

Children can convey their vision of the world using fingerprints. Drawings using this technique are inimitable and unique. Initially, objects are depicted with handprints, and then switch to finger painting. For work, special paints are selected that are safe for the baby.
In the center of the leaf there is a brown tree trunk. Then, dipping their fingers in yellow and red tones, they leave prints of multi-colored “leaves” around it.

middle group, step by step

Educational program middle group Definitely includes an autumn theme. To work, they use a variety of techniques and an unconventional approach.

Drawing with a wax candle

To work you need:

  • a sheet of office paper;
  • candle;
  • paints;
  • autumn leaves of different shapes.

The sheet is placed under the paper and rubbed over the surface with a candle. The print is covered with paint. There will be gaps where the protrusions have formed. Repeat similar steps with other leaves.

Green leaves are used for drawing, because... dry ones crumble when pressed.

Wax crayons drawing technique

To depict the sheets, you will need office paper and wax crayons.

The sheet is covered with paper and chalk is drawn over it until an imprint appears.
For brightness white background glued onto colored cardboard.

Autumn landscape

Materials:

  • sketch of a tree on paper or cardboard;
  • brown pencil or oil pastel;
  • finger paints;

The baby’s hands must be washed before changing colors.

To begin, draw an outline of the tree on paper or print it out. ready-made template. The barrel is covered with brown pencil or oil pastel.
Finger paints of brown, yellow, red and orange are prepared on the palette.
Dip your finger into one of the colors and press it to the paper. You can use one or all fingers for painting.
They make multi-colored prints until the tree is filled with autumn leaves. Yellow paint is applied at its base with one finger stroke.
You can add fallen leaves to the landscape or paint on birds and clouds. At the end, the work must be dried.

senior group, master class with photos

Drawing technique in senior group gets a little complicated. If a tree is transferred to paper, then the peculiarity of the crown structure, thickened trunk and its own bark color are already visible. Children's drawings must maintain proportion, close-to-far composition, and color possibilities.

"Wet" autumn landscape

Materials and tools:

  • watercolor paper;
  • soft brushes with a pointed tip;
  • toothbrush;
  • kit watercolor paints and palette;
  • a glass for wetting and washing brushes.

The brush is dipped in water and wetted well. The tree will be made in the form of a random cluster of clouds, so there is no need to be afraid that the child will ruin the work.

Watercolor is placed on top of the previous wet layer of paint. This painting technique is called “wet on wet”. For foliage, a combination of yellow, orange and olive green is used.

Mix a little brown and black to get a gray-brown tint and use a brush to draw the shape of the trunk and several branches.

Then proceed to the funniest and easiest watercolor technique painting. A wet toothbrush is dipped into yellow and, holding the bristles with your finger, begin to spray paint on the surface of the paper.

Similar work is repeated with orange and olive flowers. A toothbrush gives the thin foliage a misty effect.

Larger splashes are made using two crossed brushes.

It is better to start work with more light colors and have another wet brush without paint on hand. It is used to soften transitions.

Floral prints

Using fruits and vegetables you can create interesting prints on paper. Children will definitely love this technique.
Materials:

  • fruits (apples, pears, oranges, bananas, lemons);
  • vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, sweet pepper, potatoes, carrots, corn, mushrooms, Chinese cabbage);
  • knife;
  • cutting board;
  • white cardboard;
  • paper sketch (optional).

At the stage of cutting vegetables and fruits, children need adult help. Before use, fruits and vegetables are washed and dried. Approximate cutting:

  • apples and pears - cut in half lengthwise;
  • bananas - halved;
  • oranges and lemons - cut in half;
  • corn - in half, insert a tube for the handle;
  • pepper - cut in half, remove seeds;
  • broccoli and cauliflower - divided into separate inflorescences;
  • mushrooms – sliced or halved lengthwise;
  • potatoes and carrots - into quarters or specific shapes, such as a flower or a star.

Place the paint in small containers. Make a sketch of the drawing on paper. Fruit or vegetable preparation dipped into the paint, spreading it evenly over the surface. The template is pressed tightly onto the paper, making an imprint.

Broccoli plant prints are perfect for the trees, and rolling corn is perfect for the grassy layer.

Drawing with cotton swabs

A relatively new technique for children's creativity - drawing a picture on paper with paints and sticks - is very popular with children. For such creativity you need paper, cotton swabs and gouache diluted with water. Dot patterns are applied to the sheet with a light touch.

All work was done with cotton swabs.

Beautiful autumn drawings, photos

Children's drawings have a special spirit. There are no rules or canons in them, only inspiration and a child's spontaneous soul.
The autumn design can be voluminous or supplemented with natural materials: leaves, seeds and small fruits.

Multi-colored shading is another technique when the colors of felt-tip pens, pencils and even gel pens are mixed during the work.

It's commendable when children's creativity parents support. It not only brings people together, but also expresses individuality and helps cope with emotions.

Is a required part educational program, as it allows you to better study the main signs of autumn, master the palette of autumn shades, and consolidate the ability to work with different art materials.

Autumn drawings for kindergarten can be done in the most various techniques, using an unconventional approach, but taking into account age characteristics kids.

Finger painting “Autumn tree”

For example, children 3-4 years old will be quite capable of portraying autumn tree by applying droplets of rich colors with your finger to the main trunk.

For such work, you will need to prepare in advance a palette and templates for drawings of tree trunks and branches. We invite the kids to cover the tree with leaves, choosing the most autumn colors from the palette.

Children 4-5 years old can be offered more complex drawing techniques:

Drawing with a white wax candle

For work we prepare thin paper, real autumn leaves (which we collect during our walk), a candle, a brush and paints.

We place a leaf with thick veins under a sheet of paper and run a candle along it.

Cover the entire sheet with paint.

Where the candle comes into contact with the veins of the leaf, its outline will appear.

Drawing vegetables and fruits:

Vegetables and fruits are another popular theme for drawing in the fall.

Drawing with wax crayons

We again use the leaves that we collected during a walk in dry weather. They do not need to be dried because they will become brittle during the drying process. You will also need a thin white paper and wax crayons.

Place the piece of paper under the sheet of paper and carefully color the entire space above it with chalk.

Where the chalk touches the veins, the clear contours of the leaf appear.

To make the drawings look more impressive, we fix them on a bright background - for example, sheets of colored cardboard.

Drawing in kindergarten (video):

Look at the video of beautiful and bright ways of drawing on the theme “autumn”:

Autumn drawing with prints

Again we use freshly picked autumn leaves. We cover each of them with a layer of colors from the autumn palette and carefully turn them over onto a sheet of white paper. We carefully lift the sheet - a multi-colored imprint remains in its place.

From such drawings you can organize a real autumn exhibition

Coloring leaves

Children 5-6 years old can already cope with more jewelry work. We use well-dried ones, which need to be handled carefully, as they break easily in your hands. We cover the leaves with different shades of paint.

It is better to use gouache or acrylic paint, watercolors often roll off the surface of the sheet.

Having painted one side, dry it and paint the second.

In this case, the leaf itself is an autumn picture.

The result is bright autumn leaves that can be used to create various decorative compositions.

You can use painted leaves to make an original autumn pendant on a branch.

Coloring paper leaves

This work also requires concentration and perseverance, but less caution - paper sheets cannot be broken and are difficult to wrinkle.

We color each leaf on both sides.

We dry them and use them to decorate a group or hall.

Autumn drawing with crayons

We cut out templates of autumn leaves from thick paper in advance.

Place the template on a landscape sheet.

Carefully paint over the entire space around it with wax chalk, directing the strokes from the center to the periphery. Coloring a birch leaf.

Coloring the maple leaf.

We lift the sheet - only its outlines remain, around which we see a real explosion of bright color.

Such non-standard drawing on the theme of autumn in kindergarten will help develop a child’s interest in creativity and awaken in him the desire to create new ones interesting compositions and paintings.

Drawing and application “Autumn fly agaric”

Using real leaves we draw a colored background. We are waiting for it to dry. Cut out the fly agaric cap from red paper, and cut out the stem from white paper. From a napkin we cut out a fringe for the fly agaric leg. We combine all the elements of the craft on a colored background and complement it with dried maple leaf. All that remains is to paint the fly agaric's cap with white dots. Our autumn fly agaric is ready!

Application and drawing “autumn fly agaric”

Look at the video on how to make a beautiful autumn landscape from leaf prints:

Here's an example of a wonderful autumn drawing, drawn with watercolors and crayons. First, the outline of the drawing is drawn in pencil, then patterns are drawn on bushes, trees and grass with white or yellow chalk. After applying watercolor, the pattern will become bright and clear.

How to draw a colored leaf step by step

Autumn is a romantic time of year. How beautiful are the golden trees, through which the sun smiles mysteriously, and tries to warm everyone once again with its dimmed rays.

Enjoying the arrival of autumn and how it brightly colors nature with new shades is very convenient in the park. Sometimes, walking along the alleys golden with leaves, you see a picture of how young artists are trying to convey the beauty environment on canvas.

Today our lesson is dedicated to the golden age. We will tell you step by step how to draw autumn and fill the drawing with gentle motifs of the autumn season.

To make the task easier, before you begin thematic drawing, you need to clearly familiarize yourself with the theme of the drawing. Autumn pictures will help you with this famous artists, high-quality photographs of autumn landscapes, or Mother Nature herself, if the image of the drawing fell at just such a time.

Look carefully at the details (how the branches from which the leaves have already fallen are located, how gloomy the clouds are in the sky, what the yellowed grass looks like, etc.), try to feel the mood of nature in order to put it into your work and bring the picture to life.

Preparatory period

And so we have a moral mood, we have become familiar with the fall, all that remains is to prepare directly for drawing.

During creative process We will use the following stationery items:

  • a sheet of A4 format or an easel (if close-up drawing is being done);
  • a simple pencil with a thin lead;
  • black pen or liner;
  • multi-colored pencils (the more shade, the better);
  • eraser for erasing unnecessary lines.

When equipping yourself with office supplies, pay attention to the quality of the product. Use a soft eraser; a hard one can damage the paper or leave a mark after erasing.

Once you have prepared the available equipment, you can begin to depict it step by step:

  • Using light contour lines, mark on the sheet the location of the main objects of the autumn drawing - trees, fields, rivers;
  • Draw the trees, focusing on the powerful, half-naked branches. On coniferous trees, mark leaves that have fallen from other trees;
  • Mark the grass under the trees and outline the foliage on it;
  • Outline the distant forest and mark the fields with light lines;
  • Draw the river and also the foliage on it.

For beginners please encloseThere is a schematic representation of nature.

The drawing of the autumn landscape is finished, but the painting is not yet complete.

The creative process requires rich imagination. To make the plot more interesting, add the outlines of crane keys, outline mushrooms under the oak tree, ducks on the water and 2 - 3 clouds in the sky.

The next stage is color design.

It's also good to use your imagination here, but don't experiment too much to make the image look realistic. To begin, use a black pen to draw the outlined lines.

When finished, erase the pencil with an eraser and begin coloring.

Use dark color tones to decorate tree branches and tables.

The following colors are suitable for decoration:

  • black;
  • brown;
  • grey;
  • and other colors available in stock.

Use bright light shades to depict foliage, river, sky and sun.

For coloring, use the following colors:

  • yellow;
  • red;
  • green;
  • orange;
  • blue.

Color the field and the shadow of the distant forest with gray color. Use color palette for sketching small details: mushrooms, grass, cranes.

For a visual example, we present you with several options for natural landscapes. Pay attention to the play of color and the strength of the pattern, use them as an example when designing the color of the composition.

Now you know how to draw autumn step by step.
