Electrician

Where to study

I studied for several months in professional retraining courses. In general, I graduated from the Institute of Culture and Arts. He worked at, was even a store director and a business coach. Some people like to work in an office, others don't. No to me.

Where to get clients

I work at DEZ. Each of the electricians either has their own client base or foremen with whom you constantly collaborate. The client base is growing on its own: good specialist always needed.

Starter set

The DEZs don’t give out anything. However, you don’t need a large amount of tools to work in the EPD, because the work mainly involves operating equipment. The tool will literally cost two thousand rubles if you know what you need.

How in general?

The working day starts at 9 am. Officially. But this does not mean that you must be there by nine. You can safely drink coffee without fear of being late. The most important thing is that there are no complaints. Personally, I work in shifts, two after two. I don’t like being tied down, I like relative freedom, and here I feel like I’m on a horse. Here you can see the end result. The light bulb does not light up - you changed the light bulb, it lights up. Immediate satisfaction from your own work.

Money

You can have from 70 to 100 thousand rubles per month. The question is where do you live, how do you work. In any case, there is always work and you can always earn a piece of bread. I still remember very clearly the crisis of 2008, when in my place in the office I was not paid for four months wages.

Andrey, 45 years old, Moscow

Where to study

There are courses in Moscow called the School of Russian Masters. Training lasts two months, there are full-time and correspondence courses. It costs something around 30 thousand rubles. Then they can hire you as an assistant - a second person, a third person on the team. Courses do not provide practical knowledge. You know the theory, but how to do it in practice... But the community of stove makers does not abandon its people in trouble. You can choose anyone from the list - call, ask. Gradually you learn from your mistakes, from your bumps.

Starter set

The more you plunge into the profession, the more tools you need. But at first you can get by with a grinder, a trowel, nothing else is needed.

How in general?

I have been laying stoves since 2010. There are professions where people earn money. There are professions that people do for the soul. And in this work you can combine both. All my clients constantly call, congratulate me on all the holidays, invite me to visit: “If you’re passing by, stop by for tea.”
There is also negativity. Now there are a lot of migrant workers everywhere, they do everything. Starting with the construction of fences and digging wells and ending with the construction of houses and the construction of stoves. When you arrive at the site and find out that you are already the third stove-maker, that the person has been burned twice... But if you know your job, after 5-6 days this negativity disappears and normal relationships appear.

Money

At least 100 thousand rubles per month. More than the average salary in Moscow.

Where to study

I have a secondary specialized education, I studied after school. You can get a job as an apprentice to a master - usually not very qualified workers go.

Starter set

A basic set of carpenter's tools will cost about 30 thousand rubles.

How in general?

Overall I like the work. I enjoy it. Again, variety: you can make both furniture and stairs, especially if you work for yourself. So I just started building a workshop on my site. The only thing that is unpleasant is injuries. Well, yes, two days ago I drilled my hand. I’m already used to having a drop of blood with every order, this is standard. When I make furniture, it’s either a deep splinter or something else.

Money

If you work for hire, on average you can earn 40–50 thousand rubles. And if you do it yourself, like me, then you can easily receive from 30 to 100 thousand rubles a month, depending on orders. You choose when to rest and when to work. I actually have a higher education economic education. But what's the point? Then I will receive the same 30 thousand rubles, but working all month. And as a carpenter, if I put my mind to it, I can earn it in three days.

Where to study

You don’t have to study at all, since nurses are often required without special education. A few years ago, I found myself in Moscow without a job or a place to live, and at first it so happened that I agreed to babysit for a friend’s grandfather, and then I realized that, in principle, I was satisfied with such a life. I work under private agreements, but there are also agencies that will train you, if necessary, and prepare documents. If you have a medical education, you can do injections, IVs, bandages - you will earn more, although sometimes the difference is very small.

Starter set

Everything you need, including rubber gloves, is provided by the relatives of the person under your care. All you need is physical strength. And a lot. Sometimes patients are very fat, and they have to be lifted, turned over, and some of them have to be carried to the bathroom, say. And if a person has, then you need to be able to hold him, fix him, if necessary... Also important is the absence of physical disgust and what I would call good-natured indifference: if you worry too much about the patient, it’s harder for you, but being angry with him, getting irritated is the last thing .

How in general?

Fine. Of course, you are tied to a place; it is not always possible to even go to the store if there is no replacement. But I’m a loner in life, I like to read, watch movies, play games, surf the Internet - and I have enough time for all this. I now have a paralyzed patient who is quite elderly; he sleeps most of the time. You wash him, change him, feed him, give him pills, read something out loud to him, go about your business - and the day has passed.

Money

I have my own room in the apartment, a travel card, Internet, full meals and 30 thousand a month for personal expenses. In principle, there is nothing to spend on; I convert almost everything into foreign currency and save it for the future.

Where to study

I studied at the company, there were three-month courses. And there he immediately got a job. In general, there are now many courses for crane operators, taught by any licensed institution. I don't want to study. There are also requirements for candidates, mainly medical ones. Still, we are dealing with different factors: chemical compounds, elevated temperature. You go through a complete medical examination. If you are healthy in all respects, you are given permission to study.

Starter set

The cost of the courses is free. And during your training you are also paid some kind of salary.

How in general?

This interesting work. Mechanisms and hardware are something that any man is interested in. You definitely need to know the basics of repairing equipment. Shift work: there is a morning shift, there is an evening shift. Morning - from 6:30 to 14:00, evening - from 14:00 to 22:00. The actual workload is about half a shift, 4–5 hours.
At first, when you are studying, you work in tandem with a slinger who walks under a crane. It shows you the commands you need to understand. Of course, there is still stress, since it is dangerous: the cable can break at any moment. But you get used to it over time.

Money

Salary averages 40–50 thousand rubles. This is a very good salary for our region. My wife works at kindergarten for 10 thousand. Average salary in our city - 30 thousand rubles. So I'm not complaining.

Where to study

I joined the organization when I knew nothing, and they trained me. They saw the enthusiasm and hired me. The main thing is to have a desire to learn. Started working in 2005, the work was related to glazing. Now I have been working in greenhouses for several years now.

How in general?

If I didn't like my job, I would look for something more interesting. I think a person should always strive for the best. The number of orders depends on the season. In the spring the snow melts - everyone goes to the gardens and starts ordering greenhouses. But, in principle, there is also a demand for greenhouses in winter: they are cheaper out of season. If you study in different directions glazing, then you can all year round keep yourself busy. The working day can start very early - sometimes you have to wake up, for example, at four in the morning. Working hours are not standardized. I adhere to the following principle: “If a person does not find time to rest, he will find time for treatment.” Weekends are a must with family, family comes first. In general, I have time to rest.

Money

The average wage for an assembly worker, if we take our region, is about 40 thousand rubles. This is quite enough for our places. You can earn more during the season. There are a lot of wrong things going on in our region when it comes to work. They don't pay people's wages. At my old place of work, in a different specialty, they still owe me money. Now I feel much calmer financially.

Where to study

I have been in the profession for more than five years. I didn’t finish the course, I learned as I went along. I consulted with the guys and, so to speak, coached myself.

Starter set

A basic set of tools for a plumber costs at least 40–50 thousand rubles. You also need power tools: a hammer drill, an angle grinder.

How in general?

In general, I like the job: I am my own boss. At least I haven't found anything better yet. My working day starts at six in the morning, because I live in the Moscow region and work in Moscow - it takes a lot of time to get to the site. But it all depends on the order - if anything happens, I can do it later. The main negative in the work: misunderstanding with the customer. Fortunately, this doesn't happen often.

Money

Our work is piecework, month to month. On average - from 70 thousand rubles per month.

Where to study

I studied for three months at the St. Petersburg company “Master Groom”. To sit on the tail of a specialist - there is no such thing now. A huge number of courses, seminars. Within a year you become a normal groomer. Training is not everything, experience is needed.

Where to get clients

Our company has a VKontakte page, and I have a VKontakte page. For example, people with dogs are walking: “Where did you get such a beautiful haircut?” - “Over there.” - “Okay, give me your phone number.” Word of mouth radio works stably.

Starter set

Desire and understanding that this is a physically and psychologically difficult profession, but the job needs to be done. Needed from the very beginning good tools: scissors, hair cutting machines, cosmetics. And then, if you understand how it works, you can move on to simpler cosmetics. Training costs about 45 thousand rubles, three months. Tools - at least 70 thousand, or even about a hundred.

How in general?

Grooming is the complete care of an animal. And trimming nails and intimate areas, not only the body, and cleaning ears, and removing stones from teeth. For the last six years - that's how long I've been a groomer - I've been going to work with pleasure. Negative things also happen: they don’t take care of the animals, they don’t give them extra scratches, they don’t wash them, and then they want it to be beautiful. And this is when the wool has already started! I don’t remember any attacks. After all, they first get acquainted with the animals, before they cut their hair. For example, I let you smell my glasses. If the dog is really nervous, I will ask the owners to put it on the table themselves.

Money

On average, about 80 thousand rubles per month. In season more work. The season is spring, when the dogs “undress”. If it's hot in the summer, they also bring dogs.

Blacksmith Starter Set

My friend and I invested 100 thousand each, for a total of 200 thousand rubles. This was sufficient capital to purchase means of production, including the main machine. Then, gradually, gradually, more equipment was purchased. But that was six years ago. It might be more expensive now.

How in general?

The main problem is personnel selection. I advertised: “Come, an opportunity to learn artistic forging, blacksmithing.” 20–25 people applied, in the end there were four left. I called professionals, posted photos of the equipment, the workshop - not a single call.
We work with ferrous metal. Most people prefer to buy stamped roses, but they have no soul, no movement, no growth - lifeless roses. Naturally, they are inexpensive, about 1,500 rubles. And what a master does with his own hands, of course, is a completely different level of work and costs completely different money. And so you tell a person the amount of 5-7 thousand for one rose, and he says: “Well, I’ll go and buy it for one and a half thousand.” Most often they order railings, fences, canopies and, of course, gates. Our off-season is January, February, there are no orders. And from March and early April, stirring begins. I usually try to get orders before the New Year so that I don’t sit without work in the off-season.

Where to study

When I was 14 years old, I was given my first hive. Thus began a hobby that became a profession. My path is rather unusual. But there are a lot of courses, training on them takes about a month. It is necessary to study. Otherwise, through ignorance, the whole thing can be ruined.

Starter set

It all starts with amateur beekeeping - 50 thousand rubles should be enough. This is about 10–20 hives per rural areas, better in the forest.

How in general?

Bees make honey only in summer. It also happens that May honey happens, but this is if spring is early. In the summer you work with the bees themselves, and in the winter you do more carpentry work: repairing hives, preparing for the next season. I love my job and wouldn't trade it for anything. From negative aspects- import of low-quality southern bees. Or when the fields are poisoned. But bee diseases are a common thing, we know how to deal with them.

Money

From two hundred hives you can get about 3 million rubles a year, about 250 thousand a month. Beginners, of course, receive less, but those with 500 bee colonies receive much more. And the income, by the way, comes not only from honey, but also from the sale of propolis and royal jelly.

The desire to get a profession arises in everyone in life. Motives can be different, but the most common is a simple, purely human desire to realize oneself in life.

I had the same desire. Therefore, I actively immersed myself in studying professions. In particular, where to get this very profession and, moreover, actually get it, so that you can then hire it.

In the end, I managed to find out everything I needed. And I outlined all my experience gained in this article. I can assure you that after reading, you will have a clear understanding of where you can get a profession.

University\technical school

The first thing that comes to mind. This is not surprising, because the bulk people are coming get a profession there.

The advantage is that these educational institutions provide a wide range of professions. Only if in technical schools these are, for the most part, blue-collar professions, then in universities they are whatever your heart desires.

The disadvantages include the training period and entry threshold. In technical schools it is 2-3 years, and in universities 4-6. And for admission you will need to pass exams, and the training itself begins only once a year. Therefore, you won’t be able to start learning right away. You will need to prepare and wait.

If you pass the exams successfully, you can count on free training, however, free is only relative. Because expenses for the office, travel, food and the like will have to be paid by yourself. But compared to tuition fees, this is not so much.

The next disadvantage applies more to universities, although for some it is even an advantage rather than a disadvantage. It consists of the following: you will receive not only specific knowledge in your profession, but also in other disciplines. Therefore, part of the training will consist of exactly this. Which one depends on the profession.

As for immersion in the profession itself, it’s a plus educational institutions is that they are a platform with which employers interact. They post vacancies on boards, hold meetings, offer internships and jobs.Same educational practice can easily flow into work at the place where it took place.

Be sure to take into account the opportunity to get a job when choosing an educational institution and field of study, because it will be very disappointing to get a profession and then not work in it. And it turns out that the time spent on studying was wasted.

It turns out that mastering a profession at a university or technical school is more suitable for people who want not only to master a profession, but also gain general knowledge, and are also willing to spend several years on training.

For those who want to get a profession faster, you should pay attention to other options. True, with the exception of those professions that necessarily require higher or secondary specialized education. For example: medical.

Courses

This is an option that is aimed at studying a specific profession and is quite short terms. Such courses most often serve as the first step to mastering a profession, but thanks to which you can already get a job and develop further.

The downside is that almost all such courses are paid. But how else? People spend time, teach, and therefore should receive something in return. Moreover, they teach what will give a person income in the future. That is, much more than what a person will invest in training.

Be careful when choosing courses, because now there are a lot of scammers who take money, but in exchange they give something completely different from what they initially promised.

Also, if possible, choose those places that provide real practice, or better yet, an internship. Where this exists, the quality of education will a priori be higher. Verified.

I remember when I studied at Netology, it was like that there. The final work was carried out on a real project, and those interested took internships and even got jobs.

If you are interested, you can look at the list of professions on the Netology website. There are even free courses there, although they are more introductory, but you can check what it’s like to study there. And, if it suits you, choose a profession and get it.

There is also a similar school called Gikbrains, but it is geared more towards training programmers. You can see for yourself - look. They also provide training on real projects, provide internships, and have many vacancies posted for students.

The advantage of these two platforms is not only that they teach professions on real projects, provide internships and the opportunity to get a job, but also that all this takes place online. There is no need to travel anywhere, which means there are fewer unnecessary expenses and it is easier to combine this training with any other activity: study, work, leisure.

At work

Another place where you can gain a profession is the job itself. At least in the area of the profession in which you are interested. As you work, you will gain experience, delve into it and find out what is necessary for the profession/position you want to get.

If you need higher education, you will be able to pay for it, as well as courses that can be combined with work without any problems.

True, the difficulty is to get this very job. But if you tell the employer that your motivation is to delve into it and grow further, and not just to earn money, then he will like you more than others, since you will be motivated to work conscientiously, and therefore bring maximum benefit to the employer.

Bottom line

As you can see, each place suits a person’s specific situation. Therefore, it is worth deciding which one is best suited for you and go get a profession.

If you want to save your future from the impending cataclysm, listen to our every word! Okay, let's not be so pessimistic about economic affairs in Russia. Let's just say that today we will talk about opportunities, professional reorientation, training, in a word, about the future. And this is important for everyone, absolutely.

There isn't much work in the country right now. There are a lot of specialties, mainly in the humanities, that have fallen sharply in price. So you graduated from the institute, cheerful and full of hope, and your diploma turned out to be a dummy. You are frantically looking for a job, but no one wants to hire you. And it’s not about your abilities, the point is that there are cuts, and it’s not your fault. The country is simply in this situation. There is no need to despair, you just need to show flexibility of mind and penetrate where healthy wages still live. In which market segment is everything always going well? We have a fairly simple answer to this seemingly difficult question– in IT.

Next, we will explain why and provide average salaries across the country for each specialty we have chosen. In addition, you will find out where you can learn each profession, and not just yourself, but from real professionals who will provide you with an internship. Actually, we will talk about online training, where, in addition to effective paid courses, there are no less effective free courses and webinars. Take for example, which are held in person and cover the basics of the difficult task of a programmer. In general, the conditions for training are very cool, and the site has a wide range of advantages when compared with others (take the same internship).

In general, gnaw on the granite of science before it’s too late!

1. Web developer

There are hundreds of courses on the Internet, but you can count the good ones on the fingers of one hand. And the fact is that many “smart” guys offer weekly, monthly, two-month training to be a web developer. Eh, dude! All this has nothing to do with reality. If you want to become a web developer, you will have to study for at least 10 months and undergo an internship to consolidate the knowledge you have acquired (and maybe even find an employer). Then you can earn 74 thousand rubles a month (the average salary in Moscow) or even more.

6. Python Programmer

Do you want to join the “major league”? Then you cannot do without knowledge of the most popular programming language. Just think: Google, Instagram, Pinterest use Python and don't complain. And there are many explanations for this. To begin with, let's say that after passing, you will be able to develop anything for any operating system. Also, this course is extremely important for those who are going to further advance along the path of a developer; it perfectly structures the thinking of a programmer. What about salaries? Now on the market such specialists are valued at an average of 100,000 rubles.

There are not many blocks, only three. The usual HTML/CSS, without which you won’t get far, then we’ll learn the Python programming language itself, and we’ll finish with a JavaScript block, where we’ll place special emphasis on interactive web applications. Of course, there is also a place for internships here, which will definitely please any graduate.

7. Ruby Programmer

The Ruby language is unique. Many programmers love it, and all because it is simply pleasant to work with. Thanks to him you can decide complex tasks in simple ways, have an excellent understanding of the HTTP protocol and REST principles. And, of course, anyone qualified knows how to optimize and test code. Well, in general, in training (and this applies to all specialties), one can highlight such pleasant little things as communicating with classmates and recording all classes.

We don't want to tell you how much time you will spend on this course. In this case, you don’t spend it, but invest it - understand the difference! So, in total, the course lasts 6 months and is divided into three parts and an internship. By tradition, we list the blocks: HTML/CSS, Ruby/Rails (Fundamentals of language and web application development), JavaScript. The average salary in this specialty is about 100,000 rubles, which will please anyone who wants to quit their old job.

8. SEO specialist

And now about the painful part. Let's say first-hand that a good one is worth its weight in gold for any site, no matter what this site does. People of this profession who do everything right are like animals from the Red Book. But there are a lot of SEOs who have no knowledge. We recommend that you pay close attention for this course. And even though an SEO specialist, when compared with others on this list, earns less (the average salary is 50 thousand rubles in Moscow), he is always needed, and the prospects for growth in this area are endless.

Over the course of 4 months, you will study two sides of the issue: The basics of website creation and SEO. What will you know at the end of the course? The answer is simple: everything you need to optimize and promote your website in the most productive way. Even if you are not going to work as a SEO, but have always wanted to have your own website, the knowledge gained will be extremely useful, even, say, fundamental.

Professional education is a guarantee that you will not be left without a piece of bread and butter (well, at least theoretically). But not everyone has the desire and opportunity to study for five or six years at a university. However, there are other ways to acquire a profession. How and where to get a profession?

Of course higher education is the most proven and reliable way get a profession. Some professions cannot be obtained anywhere except at a university. In addition, a higher education institution provides not only professional, but also general knowledge that will be useful to you regardless of future sphere activities. Well, an important plus is a diploma of higher education. The requirements for many vacancies indicate the presence of a diploma (and it doesn’t matter what kind of diploma, the main thing is that you have one).

This option also has its disadvantages. Higher education It’s not cheap, and the number of free budget places is limited. It is not always possible to spend several years studying, especially if you desperately need money. In addition, some cannot be obtained at a university - they are simply not taught yet, the education system does not keep up with the dynamic development of the labor market. How and where can you get a profession in this case??

First let's finish with the topic traditional education. If you don’t want to waste time on the “tower” or want to get a profession earlier, you can stop at average special education . He is often treated with disdain - the stereotype of the “redneck vocational school student” works - but now he exists huge amount secondary specialized educational institutions that help you get the most different professions(and not just workers). Of course, an associate's degree (and this is what is usually given in such institutions) is not valued as much as a bachelor's or master's degree, but such a diploma is better than none.

You can also gain a profession through special courses.. Often such courses are organized by potential employers - so to speak, they “forge personnel” on the spot. So after the courses you have a chance to immediately get a job in your newly acquired specialty. Another advantage of the courses is that the training is predominantly practical in nature. But, of course, such courses in most cases are not free. It is very important to choose courses that provide their graduates with certificates upon completion. It is necessary to check in advance the reputation of the chosen courses and clarify how much the educational document they issue is valued.

You can also get a profession... right at the workplace! This usually concerns new professions that are becoming increasingly in demand. However, there is one “but”: to obtain such a profession, you may still need a basic education. Let's say testers software and QA engineers (software quality control engineers) often become programmers. Well, not every company is ready to spend time on retraining staff - many prefer to hire already established specialists.

Self-education can also help you get the profession of your dreams. But keep in mind that this path is not easy and thorny. Firstly, you need iron self-discipline: only you control the process of acquiring knowledge, there are no tests or exams, no one from the outside will evaluate you. Secondly, the list of professions that can be obtained in this way is limited: many positions will not hire you without a diploma. Even in Doctor House, a self-taught doctor without a license or diploma had to leave the race.

But you will be able to combine independent study with freelance work (learn from your own mistakes, so to speak). In addition, there are still employers who care not about a diploma, but about knowledge. If a person is knowledgeable in a certain area and is eager to work and deepen his knowledge, he can be gladly hired. There have been cases when people with musical education went into the IT field and successfully realized their potential in this area. So there would be desire and persistence.

But getting a profession is only half the battle. The main thing is that a job is found. So be brave and don’t give up - only those people who do something for it find the profession and job of their dreams.
